We got the Fernpaw collar for our beagle, Max. We tested the visibility in a dark park — the dog is indeed visible from far away, and the advertised distances seem accurate. The modes are easy to switch. Cons: you can feel the 50-gram weight, as for small breeds it seems quite stiff and uncomfortable to wear. Taking it off and putting it on every time isn't very convenient either, due to the stiff nylon that doesn't immediately conform to the pet's neck shape. Other than that, we washed it in a stream and no water got inside.
