This is simply a miracle and real salvation. My 17 week old cavapoo puppy is quite dramatic and overheats at the slightest jog or when it's hot outside. He has very soft and fluffy fur, which can get really hot. He weighs about 6 kg and is not very tall. The vest fit perfectly, absolutely perfect, although it may not be enough until next summer. When dry, it is not heavy at all, covering the back all the way to the tail. Under the tummy it is fastened with Velcro on both sides. When I put it on, he didn’t even twitch or complain. Clothes are new to him, LOL. I really like the blue and white color, perfect for summer. I took the size medium, although I think that large would also fit thanks to the adjustable Velcro on the stomach. I’ll update the review as soon as we test it outside and see how it cools it. We are very happy, now he will be able to walk with us longer and play outside without overheating, as he did before.
It’s great that the puppy is comfortable in the vest and it fits so well. Before a walk in the heat, it’s good to completely wet the vest and wring it out slightly - this way the cooling usually feels better.
It fits perfectly...it does the job...easy to put on, a little heavy, but the puppy was clearly cooler in it than without anything at all. Made to last.
