Popis

Udržitelnost bez velkých slov: používáme obaly z monomateriálu vhodné k recyklaci v EU, spolupracujeme s evropskou výrobou kvůli kratším přepravním trasám a složení uvádíme poctivě – s procenty a bez skrytých plnidel.

The set of 10 sticks turned out to be very economical. One stick is enough for several intense play sessions, provided you don't leave it out all the time. Excellent wood drying quality.

Fernpaw reply

Good afternoon. Thank you for your review. Proper drying allows us to preserve the maximum beneficial properties of the wood.

Maria C.July 28, 2026

Drools and rolls it all over the floor, making for a very active and fun playtime.

Fernpaw reply

Good afternoon. It's great to hear that the toy brings so much joy and activity to your cat.

Marco R.July 27, 2026

Honest ingredients list, no hidden fillers, just wood.

Fernpaw reply

Hello. Thank you for your trust. Honesty in our ingredients is very important to us.

Antoine L.July 26, 2026

We only play under my supervision. The sticks are sturdy and natural.

Fernpaw reply

Good afternoon. Thank you for being a responsible owner and for the high rating.

Nicolas R.July 25, 2026

They have a natural, pleasant woody scent. My British Shorthair didn't know what to make of it at first, but then bit into the bark and now we can't tear him away.

Fernpaw reply

Hello. Thank you for your purchase. Sometimes cats need a little time to get used to a new smell and texture.

Felix W.July 24, 2026

My cat loved the smell. She rubs her whole body against the stick. It's nice to see eco-friendly mono-material packaging that is accepted at European recycling centers.

Fernpaw reply

Hello. Thank you for noticing our packaging. We strive to minimize our impact on the environment.

Thomas K.July 23, 2026
A lifesaver for indifferent cats

Our British Shorthair, Marcel, has always been completely indifferent to catnip. We bought different sprays and dried herbs, but zero reaction. I decided to try this silvervine from Fernpaw. The effect is amazing! The cat rolled the stick on the carpet for about twenty minutes, rubbed his cheeks against it, and chewed it vigorously. I'm very glad it's a completely natural thing without artificial flavorings, and the chewing process itself helps remove dental plaque.

Fernpaw reply

Hello. We are so glad that the matatabi managed to catch Marcel's interest. We wish him many exciting and dental-friendly play sessions.

Giulia B.July 22, 2026
Perfect for cleaning teeth

We regularly buy matatabi for our Sphynx. This breed often has gum problems, so mechanically cleaning their teeth by chewing on dense wood is a must for us. Fernpaw's sticks are the perfect size and comfortable for the cat to chew. Special thanks for the packaging: the mono-material is easy to recycle in our European town. No waste, just benefits for the pet's teeth and mood.

Fernpaw reply

Good afternoon. Thank you for the high rating. We are thrilled that our product helps your pet maintain good oral hygiene.

Thomas K.July 21, 2026
Finally found an alternative to catnip

My British Shorthair, Barsik, is completely indifferent to valerian root and regular catnip; I thought he just didn't like these kinds of toys. But these matatabi sticks were a real discovery. He immediately started rubbing his face against them, rolling them on the carpet, and actively gnawing on the wood. I take the stick away after 15 minutes of play, as the manufacturer suggests, to keep him interested. An excellent natural product.

Fernpaw reply

Good afternoon. Thank you for the detailed review. We are glad that matatabi interested your cat and became a great alternative.

Erik J.July 20, 2026

A toy without batteries or plastic. The cat just chews on natural wood. Very eco-friendly.

Fernpaw reply

Good afternoon. Thank you for choosing our natural product for your pet.

Lisa C.July 19, 2026

I used to buy matatabi from other brands, but these from Fernpaw are the best so far. The packaging contains straight sticks with no debris. My cat uses them like toothpicks after meals when I give them.

Fernpaw reply

Good afternoon. We are glad that the quality of our matatabi sticks fully met your expectations.

Andreas P.July 18, 2026

The cat rolled the stick all over the floor for half an hour, very active. Excellent playtime stimulation without any plastic parts or mechanisms.

Fernpaw reply

Hello. We are glad that natural stimulation was a hit with your cat.

Julien D.July 17, 2026

10 sticks will last a long time, I let him chew on one once a week.

Fernpaw reply

Good afternoon. Great approach! Infrequent use helps keep the pet highly interested.

Sarah W.July 16, 2026
Favorite supervised entertainment

Our Siamese cat absolutely loves silvervine. I give her one stick strictly under supervision; she wrestles with it, bites it, and tosses it in the air with her paws. It's very important to put the stick away in a closed cabinet afterwards, otherwise the cat might chew off and swallow small pieces of bark. An excellent natural accessory without any batteries, mechanisms, or harmful plastic.

Fernpaw reply

Hello. Thank you for your trust. You are absolutely right; supervision during play with natural sticks is very important for safety.

Julien D.July 15, 2026

Perfect stick size, it's very comfortable for an adult cat to hold them with their front paws while actively chewing on the floor.

Fernpaw reply

Good afternoon. Thank you for noting the convenience of the format. We try to select the optimal stick size for adult cats.

Michael B.July 15, 2026
Eco-friendly approach to packaging

I was looking for eco-friendly toys for my Sphynx, Cleo. I absolutely hate single-use plastic. Fernpaw's approach to sustainable production won me over. The packaging is made of mono-material that can actually be recycled in the EU, and the label is made of unbleached kraft paper. The cat absolutely loves the sticks themselves and plays with them very emotionally, rolling them with her paws. A great example of how to make quality pet products without harming the environment.

Fernpaw reply

Hello. Thank you for appreciating our efforts in creating eco-friendly packaging. We are proud to offer a product that is safe for nature.

Lars O.July 14, 2026

If you put the stick away in time, the interest lasts for weeks. Great battery-free entertainment.

Fernpaw reply

Good afternoon. Exactly right, limiting playtime is the key to a long-lasting interest in matatabi.

Julia S.July 13, 2026
Helps clean teeth

I have a Maine Coon named Simba, and oral hygiene is quite a big issue. He categorically refuses to let me brush his teeth. These Japanese matatabi sticks have been an excellent compromise. He treats them like a treat-toy, carefully chewing the fibers, which provides mechanical teeth cleaning. I give them strictly under supervision a couple of times a week, and then put them away in a drawer. The set has 10 pieces, so it's very economical.

Fernpaw reply

Good afternoon. Thank you for the detailed review. You are absolutely right; controlled play sessions help prolong the pet's interest in the sticks.

Katharina R.July 12, 2026

Tried them out because of the short, clear ingredients list. No dyes or preservatives. The cat carefully chews the edges of the stick, and her teeth look visually cleaner. I always make sure to hide it after playtime.

Fernpaw reply

Good afternoon. Thank you for your review. We always strive for honest ingredients without hidden additives.

Andreas P.July 11, 2026

Ten pieces in a set is a great deal. The cat chews them carefully, no splinters flying all over the apartment.

Fernpaw reply

Hello. Thank you for the high rating. The 10-piece pack is designed for long-term use.

Giulia B.July 10, 2026

Fernpaw didn't disappoint. Good sticks, the cat rolls them all over the apartment.

Fernpaw reply

Good afternoon. We are thrilled that we met your expectations.

Carlos M.July 9, 2026

A toy without any batteries, yet it's more interesting to him than a laser pointer)

Fernpaw reply

Hello. Nature often offers the best solutions for play. Thank you for your review.

Tobias G.July 8, 2026

What attracted me is that it's not a veterinary drug, but just a natural stick for playing. My cat rolls it with his paw and chews on the tips. I take it away as soon as he loses interest.

Fernpaw reply

Hello. You are doing exactly the right thing by putting the toy away after a session. This maintains a steady interest in it.

Sabine L.July 7, 2026
Finally interested in playing

I have an 8-year-old adult British Shorthair. Lately, she's become very lazy, battery-operated toys scare her, and she never liked catnip. These Japanese sticks were a real discovery. She rubs her face on them, gently nibbles the ends, and even runs after them on the carpet. I really like that the ingredients are just 100% matatabi with no hidden fillers. The main thing is to take it away in time, otherwise she'll drool all over the floor.

Fernpaw reply

Hello. Thank you for the detailed review. Indeed, silvervine often appeals to cats that are indifferent to classic catnip.

Chloe M.July 6, 2026

Fernpaw's quality is as top-notch as always. An excellent treat-accessory for everyday use.

Fernpaw reply

Hello. Thank you for your loyalty to our brand.

Bram K.July 5, 2026

My cat is thrilled with these matatabi sticks and chews them with huge enjoyment.

Fernpaw reply

Hello. We’re very happy that your cat liked our treat.

Anna K.July 4, 2026

I give it to my cat to play with for 10 minutes under supervision, then take it away. The interest doesn’t fade.

Fernpaw reply

Good afternoon. You’re using the perfect strategy for keeping your cat interested in the toy.

Giulia B.July 3, 2026

The Japanese raw material is very good, and my cat’s reaction is just incredible.

Fernpaw reply

Good afternoon. We’re glad the quality of the matatabi brought your cat so much excitement.

Marco R.July 3, 2026

We only let our cat play with it under close supervision, as recommended. A safe and fun activity for him.

Fernpaw reply

Hello. Your responsible approach makes playtime as safe as possible. Thank you for your review.

Erik J.July 2, 2026

A natural accessory; my cat bats the stick all over the floor with her paws.

Fernpaw reply

Hello. Thank you for your purchase. Play stimulation is very beneficial for indoor cats.

Matthias V.July 1, 2026

Regular catnip gets zero reaction, but this really perked him up. He chews it very carefully. A great natural way to entertain an indoor cat in the evening.

Fernpaw reply

Hello. Matatabi really does often interest cats that don’t respond to regular catnip. We’re glad it worked for you.

Agnieszka W.June 30, 2026

The packaging has a kraft label with no bleaching agents — I respect this kind of eco-friendly approach to products.

Fernpaw reply

Good afternoon. Thank you for supporting our eco initiatives.

Pieter M.June 29, 2026

I liked that there are no loud claims on the packaging, everything is straight to the point. 10 natural sticks, and my cat keeps busy with them for half an hour. Great play stimulation for an apartment pet.

Fernpaw reply

Hello. We’re glad you appreciated our transparent approach to the product description and its quality.

Andreas P.June 28, 2026

It says the country is Japan, so I thought the quality would be amazing. The sticks are kind of too thin; my cat bit one in half in two minutes.

Fernpaw reply

Hello. The thickness of natural matatabi sticks may vary slightly. If your pet chews through one quickly, we recommend replacing it with a new stick in good time for their safety.

Katharina R.June 27, 2026

It’s nice to hold a product where every detail has been thought through. A kraft label without chlorine bleaching is a small thing, but it says a lot about the manufacturer’s attitude. The matatabi works great, and my pet is absorbed in chewing it.

Fernpaw reply

Good afternoon. Thank you for noticing the details. Sustainability is one of our brand’s key priorities.

Stefan M.June 26, 2026
Convenient Format for Play

We bought the set of 10 sticks to try with two adult cats. Both reacted positively, even though they had been indifferent to catnip before. One just carefully chews the tip, while the other rubs his whole body against it and purrs. It’s very convenient that you can give pets a natural treat that also helps scrape away soft dental plaque. I store them in the zip bag and give one every few days under supervision, just as the manufacturer recommends.

Fernpaw reply

Hello. Thank you for the high rating. Storing them in a sealed bag is a great way to preserve the matatabi aroma for longer.

Julia S.June 25, 2026
Great for Cleaning Teeth

I bought these primarily for oral hygiene. My cat is prone to plaque buildup, and she won’t let me brush her teeth. Chewing these natural sticks works as excellent mechanical cleaning. The sticks are fairly sturdy; my cat chews them carefully, but with obvious enjoyment. I was also very pleased with the brand’s approach to packaging — the mono-material is easy to recycle here in Germany. The only thing is that after chewing, small splinters are left on the floor.

Fernpaw reply

Good afternoon. Thank you for your review. Indeed, fibers may come off the sticks during active chewing, which is why we recommend using them under supervision.

Anna S.June 24, 2026

Supports oral hygiene, and the teeth have started looking better.

Fernpaw reply

Good afternoon. Thank you for your feedback. We’re glad you noticed a positive effect on the teeth.

Matthias V.June 23, 2026
Silvervine Saved Him from Boredom

Our Maine Coon Archie is already seven years old. Regular toys stopped attracting him long ago, but this Silvervine was a real discovery. We bought a pack of 10, and I give him one stick every two weeks. Archie rubs his chin on it for a long time, then lies down and methodically chews the ends. It’s really good that the manufacturer honestly lists the composition in percentages. This is now our favorite play enrichment for our lazy cat.

Fernpaw reply

Hello. We’re very happy that Archie appreciated our products. We wish him many long and engaging play sessions.

Sophie L.June 23, 2026

My cat is absolutely thrilled, even though he’s indifferent to any catnip. He rolls the stick around the whole house like a mouse.

Fernpaw reply

Good afternoon. It’s wonderful that the matatabi sparked such active interest in your pet. Thank you for choosing Fernpaw.

Markus T.June 22, 2026

My cat didn’t understand what it was at first, but then he started rubbing his cheeks against the stick. Silvervine works more gently than valerian, with no aggression. Convenient packaging.

Fernpaw reply

Hello. We’re glad your cat appreciated the gentle effect of matatabi.

Sabine L.June 21, 2026

It bothers me that you can only give it under supervision. My cat chews actively and can sometimes choke on small pieces of bark. I have to sit nearby and watch the process, which takes time.

Fernpaw reply

Good afternoon. Supervising your pet while using any chew treats is a standard safety rule, since chewing intensity varies from animal to animal.

Michal N.June 20, 2026

The sticks are pretty sturdy and don’t immediately fall apart into dust. My cat chews them with great effort and interest.

Fernpaw reply

Hello. Thank you for the high rating. The density of natural matatabi wood is designed precisely for active chewing.

Andreas P.June 19, 2026

My cat completely ignores catnip, but with this she just went crazy. She rolls around on the floor with this stick and drools. There are 10 pieces in the pack, so it will definitely last all winter.

Fernpaw reply

Hello. We’re glad the silvervine sticks caused such excitement in your pet.

Andreas P.June 18, 2026

No reaction to catnip, but this silvervine was a real hit. He chews it and drools.

Fernpaw reply

Hello. Silvervine really does often attract animals that are indifferent to regular catnip.

Katharina R.June 17, 2026
Perfect for Picky Cats

My Sphynx Anubis ignores almost all store-bought toys, but he couldn’t walk past these sticks. I was specifically looking for an option without artificial fragrances because my cat has allergies. Everything here is as transparent as possible. There are exactly 10 pieces in the package, all intact and about the same size. I let him chew one for about 15 minutes, then put it away in the cupboard. An excellent way to keep a pet busy without harming his health.

Fernpaw reply

Good afternoon. It’s nice to hear that our natural accessory suited your sensitive pet.

Antoine L.June 16, 2026

Great pack of 10 pieces, lasts for several months.

Fernpaw reply

Hello. Thank you for your feedback. We tried to make the set as practical as possible.

Giulia B.June 15, 2026

A good alternative to catnip; ours didn’t react to it at all.

Fernpaw reply

Hello. We’re glad we could offer a working alternative for your cat.

Sarah W.June 14, 2026

My cat first just hugs the stick with her paws, then starts actively chewing the tips. I always put the stick away after the play session, as the manufacturer recommends, so the smell doesn’t become too familiar and her interest stays strong.

Fernpaw reply

Good afternoon. You’re doing everything right. Limiting playtime helps keep the treat feeling new for your pet.

Chloe M.June 14, 2026

I only give it to my cat under my supervision, as written in the instructions. He plays very actively, then the branch goes back into the drawer until next time.

Fernpaw reply

Good afternoon. Following the recommendations ensures your pet’s safety during active play.

Marco R.June 13, 2026

A real find for mechanical teeth cleaning. The cat chews it under my supervision every other day, and everyday dental hygiene is perfectly maintained.

Fernpaw reply

Hello. Thank you for sharing your experience. Chewing the sticks is a great addition to basic oral care.

Anna K.June 12, 2026

My cat loves rubbing her face against this stick. As a natural treat-toy, it's simply superb, much better than plastic balls.

Fernpaw reply

Good afternoon. Thank you for your review. It's great to know that our accessory has become your cat's favorite toy.

Thomas K.June 11, 2026
Finally found a catnip alternative

My Scottish Fold, Barsik, is absolutely indifferent to regular catnip; he doesn't react to it at all. I decided to try these Japanese Fernpaw matatabi sticks. The difference is huge! The cat immediately started rubbing his face against the stick, rolling it on the carpet, and actively gnawing on it. The set has 10 pieces, so it will last a long time. I give it strictly under supervision for about fifteen minutes, then put it away in a cabinet so he doesn't lose interest. Excellent play stimulation without any chemicals.

Fernpaw reply

Hello. We are glad that matatabi suited your pet better than classic catnip. You are doing everything right by putting the stick away after play — it preserves the novelty.

Michael B.June 10, 2026
Eco-friendly and the cat loves it

As a buyer, I am really drawn to the eco-friendly concept of the product. Kraft label without chlorine bleaching, transparent ingredients without hidden fillers, and fully recyclable packaging. The cat appreciated the silvervine sticks right away. He is five years old and hasn't been interested in battery-operated toys for a long time, but his hunting instincts woke up here. He tosses the stick and catches it with his paws. After the session, I just take it and hide it. Ten pieces in the pack will definitely last us for half a year.

Fernpaw reply

Hello. Thank you for your detailed feedback. We are proud to offer a natural product in eco-friendly packaging, supporting EU recycling initiatives.

Maria C.June 9, 2026

My adult cat plays with them like a kitten. The ingredients are just 100% matatabi, no chemicals.

Fernpaw reply

Good afternoon. Thank you for your review. Natural silvervine is a great way to stimulate play activity.

Stefan M.June 8, 2026
Great eco-friendly packaging

It is very important to me that the brand cares about the environment. The single-material packaging is easy to recycle here in Germany, plus the unbleached kraft label is a big plus. The cat took to the sticks right away, chewing on them in the evenings. The Japanese quality of the matatabi is noticeable; the scent is light but instantly attracts the animal. I hide the sticks after playing, as the manufacturer advises, to keep the interest alive.

Fernpaw reply

Good afternoon. Thank you for your high rating of our approach to ecology and quality. We strive to make our packaging as recyclable as possible in the EU.

Laura H.June 7, 2026
Big cat approves of the sticks

I have a Maine Coon, a big boy who usually breaks toys quickly. These Fernpaw matatabi sticks hold up surprisingly well. He chews on them for about ten minutes, drools, and rolls them all over the house. I like that there are no artificial dyes or flavorings here, just pure wood. The product is marketed as an everyday accessory, and it fulfills this role perfectly. Mechanical teeth cleaning is also a nice bonus for an adult cat.

Fernpaw reply

Good afternoon. Thank you for sharing your experience. Chewing on natural sticks really helps maintain oral hygiene, even for such large breeds.

Anna S.June 6, 2026

Wonderful play stimulation for indoor cats. Lasts a long time.

Fernpaw reply

Hello. We are glad that matatabi helps your cat stay active.

Marie K.June 6, 2026

A useful treat-accessory. It mechanically cleans the surface of the teeth while the pet plays. The sticks aren't too thick, making it comfortable for an adult cat to hold in its paws.

Fernpaw reply

Hello. Thank you for the detailed description of your experience. We are glad the size of the sticks suited your cat.

Antoine L.June 5, 2026

I noticed that the mechanical teeth cleaning from these sticks actually works. The plaque has decreased a bit.

Fernpaw reply

Good afternoon. We are glad you noticed the positive effect on dental hygiene.

Julien D.June 4, 2026

I let my cat play with them only under supervision; the sticks are safe and natural.

Fernpaw reply

Hello. Thank you for your review. You are following our recommendations perfectly.

Christian F.June 3, 2026

My cat is already 10 years old. It says it's for adult cats, but he just rubbed his cheek against it and fell asleep.

Fernpaw reply

Hello. As cats age, their receptors can become less sensitive to matatabi. This is a normal physiological reaction.

Christian F.June 2, 2026

I was looking specifically for matatabi without additives. The ingredients here are honest, with no hidden fillers. I give it to my cat once a week to add some variety to his routine, sitting next to him and watching him chew.

Fernpaw reply

Hello. Thank you for choosing our brand. Supervising their play is an important safety rule for your pet.

Tobias G.June 1, 2026

An honest product. Japanese sticks, kraft label without chlorine bleaching. The cat enjoys chewing them, and I have peace of mind knowing he isn't eating synthetics.

Fernpaw reply

Hello. We are pleased that you noticed our efforts to create eco-friendly packaging without chlorine bleaching.

Lars O.May 31, 2026

My cat loves to chew, and these sticks are a lifesaver. They do a great job cleaning soft plaque off his teeth.

Fernpaw reply

Good afternoon. Thank you for your review. Mechanical cleaning is one of the main benefits of the product.

Anna S.May 30, 2026

The Fernpaw sticks are of excellent quality. No hidden fillers, just pure silvervine.

Fernpaw reply

Hello. We are glad you highly appreciate the transparency of our ingredients.

Sarah W.May 30, 2026
Excellent natural stimulation

My Siamese cat, Taya, is very active and constantly needs new stimuli. Battery-operated toys break quickly or she gets bored of them. But these natural matatabi sticks are a huge hit. I give her one in the evening. She drools over it, chews it, and tosses it around. After 15 minutes, I take the stick away, just as the instructions advise, so she doesn't lose interest. The toy is completely safe, the ingredients are transparent, and there are no hidden fillers. I will be ordering more.

Fernpaw reply

Good afternoon. It's great to hear that Taya appreciated our natural alternative to plastic toys. Thank you for choosing our brand.

Felix W.May 29, 2026
Great environmental enrichment

I'm a pet psychologist and I often recommend play enrichment for cats to my clients. I bought these sticks to try out with my Bengal. The quality is excellent, and the bark doesn't shed instantly. The cat rolls it around with his paws for a long time, then starts carefully gnawing on it. It really relieves stress. The fact that the product is positioned honestly, as a treat-accessory rather than a veterinary drug, is a very correct approach by Fernpaw.

Fernpaw reply

Hello. Thank you for your professional perspective and high rating of our product. We always advocate for honest positioning.

Stefan M.May 28, 2026
Cats are thrilled

Honestly, I didn't expect such an effect. Bought them just out of curiosity to see what this Japanese matatabi is all about. I have two cats: one immediately started chewing and drooling, while the other just rolls it on the carpet and rubs his face on it. There are 10 pieces in the pack, a nice size, not too small. It's great that there are no dyes. After playing, I just hide them in the closet and they sleep like logs.

Fernpaw reply

Hello. Thank you for your review. The reaction to matatabi can indeed vary: some cats prefer to chew the sticks, while others just like to rub against them. Both options are perfectly normal.

Michal N.May 27, 2026

The cat constantly rubs his face against this stick and purrs loudly.

Fernpaw reply

Hello. It's wonderful that the silvervine scent brings your pet so much joy.

Anna S.May 26, 2026

finally a toy without plastic, just a natural stick for safe chewing

Fernpaw reply

Hello. We are glad our natural accessory turned out to be a great find for you.

Pieter M.May 25, 2026

An excellent natural product from Japan. No loud claims on the packaging, just to the point. The cat enjoys the chewing process, and I appreciate the ingredients.

Fernpaw reply

Good afternoon. Thank you for choosing the Fernpaw brand. We strive to provide the most honest information about our product.

Giulia B.May 24, 2026

The raw material is from Japan, the quality is top-notch, and the sticks are straight and dry.

Fernpaw reply

Good afternoon. Thank you for your review. We strictly monitor the quality of our raw materials.

Andrea N.May 23, 2026

A good set of ten sticks. It says the raw material is from Japan. The cat chews carefully, but there's a lot of drool from pure joy, so it's better to give it to them on a washable floor.

Fernpaw reply

Good afternoon. Thank you for the practical tip for other customers. Matatabi can indeed cause increased salivation during play.

Erik J.May 23, 2026

I give it to my cat when I need to distract her from my houseplants. It works perfectly. I'm also glad that the single-material packaging can be easily recycled.

Fernpaw reply

Good afternoon. A great way to redirect your pet's attention! Thank you for noting the eco-friendliness of our packaging.

Markus T.May 22, 2026

We’ve already used two sticks from the set. I noticed that chewing the dense wood really does mechanically clean the teeth. It’s an excellent natural accessory, though not a medical treatment.

Fernpaw reply

Hello. Thank you for your review. Regular chewing of matatabi really does help gently clean the teeth mechanically.

Susanne D.May 21, 2026

great packaging, everything went into recycling. the sticks are whole, the cat keeps rubbing his chin on them and purring.

Fernpaw reply

Good afternoon. Thank you for your review. It’s nice to hear that both the eco-friendly packaging and the sticks themselves were to your liking.

Laura H.May 20, 2026

An excellent chew treat. The set has 10 nice, even sticks. The cat is happy.

Fernpaw reply

Good afternoon. Thank you for the high rating. We wish your cat good health.

Andrea N.May 19, 2026

honest packaging, the ingredients are listed with percentages. the sticks themselves have a subtle smell, but the cat goes crazy for them. he chews them and rubs his face on them. I put them away after playtime as stated in the instructions.

Piotr K.May 18, 2026
Quality silvervine with no chemicals

I have an Abyssinian cattery. I’m always looking for safe, natural toys. This set from Fernpaw impressed me with its complete absence of artificial preservatives and flavorings. The sticks are even, clean, and dust-free. The cats play strictly under my supervision and do a great job scraping plaque off their teeth against the bark. The short transport route within Europe is genuinely great; the product is fresh.

Fernpaw reply

Hello. Thank you very much for your professional assessment. We are proud of our clean ingredients and responsible approach to production.

Natural stimulation for lazy cats

My cat Liza has become lazy with age, and I was looking for ways to get her moving without any plastic battery-powered mice. These Japanese silvervine sticks worked perfectly. I give her one stick in the evening. First she rubs her head against it for a long time, then she starts biting it. It’s important to put the stick away after playtime; I forgot it on the floor once, and the next day she didn’t react as actively. Natural stimulation of instincts. I’m happy with the purchase.

Fernpaw reply

Hello. Thank you for sharing your experience. Indeed, so that matatabi does not lose its appeal, it is best to put the sticks away in a closed container after each play session.

Michal N.May 17, 2026

The perfect substitute for catnip. The cat rubs against the stick and purrs. I put it away after playtime.

Fernpaw reply

Hello. You’re doing everything right by putting the toy away after the session to maintain interest.

Felix W.May 16, 2026

Convenient pack size, a full 10 pieces. One stick lasts for several play sessions if you put it away in time. No dyes or preservatives.

Fernpaw reply

Hello. Thank you for your purchase. Proper storage of the sticks between play sessions really does extend their useful life.

Christian F.May 15, 2026

I was looking for toys without batteries or plastic. These Fernpaw sticks are just great. The cat rolls them around on the laminate floor and gently gnaws on them. The chlorine-free kraft label is a nice bonus for the environment.

Fernpaw reply

Good afternoon. Thank you for choosing our eco-friendly product. We try to minimize our impact on the environment.

Lars O.May 14, 2026

Excellent chew sticks straight from Japan; the wood processing quality is top-notch.

Fernpaw reply

Hello. Thank you for choosing our brand and for your high rating of the quality.

Giulia B.May 13, 2026

A very worthy alternative to catnip for pets who completely ignore it.

Fernpaw reply

Hello. We’re glad we were able to offer your pet a suitable form of entertainment.

Sanne de J.May 12, 2026

Because the cat chews the wood, the surface of her teeth gets cleaned. Excellent plaque prevention in the form of play.

Fernpaw reply

Good afternoon. We’re glad you appreciated the benefits of chewing matatabi for your pet’s oral hygiene.

Chloe M.May 11, 2026

The mono-material packaging is great. The sticks themselves are natural, with no dyes. The cat plays every day.

Fernpaw reply

Hello. Thank you for your review. Eco-friendliness and naturalness are our main principles.

Alejandro G.May 11, 2026

I give it for 10 minutes and then put it away, the effect is great every time.

Fernpaw reply

Hello. Thank you for your feedback. Regular short sessions work best.

Tobias G.May 10, 2026

I only give it under supervision, as written in the instructions. The cat gnaws on it happily, then I take it away so the natural scent doesn’t become too familiar.

Fernpaw reply

Hello. You’re doing absolutely everything right. Thank you for following the usage recommendations.

Marie K.May 9, 2026

I bought it because of the eco-friendly mono-material packaging, which can be recycled in the EU. The cat appreciated the sticks too and chews them eagerly.

Fernpaw reply

Good afternoon. We’re glad that our efforts to create eco-friendly packaging resonate with customers.

Markus T.May 8, 2026

The Japanese silvervine sticks turned out to be very effective. We have two adult cats, and both roll them around on the floor. 10 pieces will last a long time.

Fernpaw reply

Good afternoon. Thank you for your trust in the Fernpaw brand. We wish your pets exciting playtime.

Camille T.May 7, 2026

Convenient pack of 10 pieces; this set will definitely last us a couple of months.

Fernpaw reply

Good afternoon. Thank you for your review. The set of 10 pieces is indeed very practical.

Julia S.May 6, 2026

I was very pleased with the brand’s eco-friendly approach. Mono-material packaging that is easy to recycle at our sorting center, plus a chlorine-free kraft label. The cat chews the sticks with huge enthusiasm.

Fernpaw reply

Good afternoon. Thank you for your review. We pay great attention to eco-friendly packaging and sustainable production.

Marie K.May 5, 2026

These sticks are excellent oral care prevention. Chewing helps mechanically scrape light plaque from the teeth. The cat sees it as a fun game, not boring cleaning.

Fernpaw reply

Good afternoon. It’s great that the tooth-cleaning process is playful and enjoyable for your cat.

Bram K.May 5, 2026

I finally found a treat-toy with no chemicals. The ingredients are completely clear. My cat likes the chewing process, and I like that it supports his oral hygiene.

Fernpaw reply

Hello. Thank you for choosing our products. Combining play with dental benefits is the main purpose of these sticks.

Susanne D.May 4, 2026

A useful treat accessory. My cat had a little plaque on her canines, and after a month of occasional chewing on these sticks, her teeth became noticeably cleaner. There are 10 pcs in the set, and they are used economically.

Fernpaw reply

Good afternoon. We’re very glad that chewing the sticks brought noticeable benefits to your cat’s oral hygiene.

Katharina R.May 3, 2026

The manufacturer writes about a short transport route and care for the EU environment. That is commendable. But the product itself barely interested my cat. She gnawed it a couple of times and left it.

Fernpaw reply

Good afternoon. We’re glad you share our environmental values. To renew interest, try hiding the set for a while and offering a stick again in a few weeks.

Marco R.May 2, 2026

Chewing really helps with soft dental plaque; I checked with the vet.

Fernpaw reply

Hello. Excellent news! Mechanical cleaning is an important advantage of matatabi.

Markus T.May 1, 2026

My adult cat appreciated it right away. Chewing clearly brings her pleasure. It’s good that there are 10 pieces in the package; they’ll last a long time, since one stick holds up for several play sessions.

Fernpaw reply

Hello. We’re glad your cat liked it. The set really does last for quite a while when used properly.

Daan V.April 30, 2026

My cat ignores most toys, but he chews on the matatabi diligently. I noticed that the smell attracts him more than catnip. Chewing really helps clean the soft plaque off his fangs.

Fernpaw reply

Hello. Thank you for your observation. The mechanical friction from chewing the sticks really does help clean teeth.

Nicolas R.April 29, 2026

He doesn't like catnip, but the silvervine was a huge hit!

Fernpaw reply

Hello. This is a common situation; matatabi works great as an alternative. We're glad your cat is happy.

Michael B.April 29, 2026

Great alternative to catnip. My cat doesn't react to it at all, but he absolutely loves the matatabi, chewing on it with huge pleasure.

Fernpaw reply

Hello. Thank you for choosing our accessories. We wish your cat fun and active play.

Carlos M.April 28, 2026
Simple and brilliant solution

No batteries, no plastic — just a matatabi stick, and it brings my cat more joy than expensive interactive toys. My teenage cat is currently teething, and chewing on these sticks saves our furniture. I only give them to him under strict supervision. I really respect the company for their honesty: they state right away that it's not a medical product, but simply a useful play accessory.

Fernpaw reply

Hello. Thank you for your high appreciation of our approach. We wish your cat a comfortable teething process and fun play.

Giulia B.April 27, 2026

A huge hit for play enrichment. The cat is indifferent to catnip, but absolutely loves these Japanese sticks.

Fernpaw reply

Good afternoon. It's wonderful that you found the right stimulation for your cat.

Agnieszka W.April 26, 2026

Honest ingredients, just matatabi. The cat constantly rubs against them.

Fernpaw reply

Hello. Thank you for choosing our product. We wish your cat many more joyful moments.

Sarah W.April 25, 2026

Great sticks, the set has 10 pieces, all straight and dry. The cat chews on them a little bit every day, and I noticed her teeth are cleaner. Good mechanical cleaning without stress.

Fernpaw reply

Good afternoon. We are glad the product helps maintain your cat's oral hygiene in a playful way.

Alejandro G.April 24, 2026

The silvervine effect exceeded expectations. The cat has become more playful and active in the evenings.

Fernpaw reply

Hello. We are very glad that the treat has diversified your pet's leisure time.

Sanne de J.April 24, 2026

Very high-quality set from Fernpaw. The sticks are the optimal size for an adult cat. We play strictly under supervision, just as the manufacturer recommends. Everything is great.

Fernpaw reply

Good afternoon. Thank you for your review and for being responsible about your pet's safety during play.

Anna S.April 23, 2026

It's nice that the product has no artificial flavors. The cat perfectly senses the natural smell and reaches for the stick himself to play with it.

Fernpaw reply

Good afternoon. Cats have a keen sense of smell, so we preserve only the natural aroma of the wood.

Sophie L.April 22, 2026
Eco-friendly and the cat loves it

I care a lot about the environment, so I chose the Fernpaw brand. They don't use loud greenwashing buzzwords, but they do real things: monomaterial recyclable in the EU, and a chlorine-free kraft label. As for the product itself — it's fantastic stimulation. My Siamese cat Lisa absolutely loves chewing on these Japanese sticks. It's important to remember to put them away after playtime to preserve the magical novelty effect.

Fernpaw reply

Good afternoon. Thank you for your high praise of our environmental initiatives and your detailed review of your pet's reaction.

Christian F.April 21, 2026

I liked the eco-friendly monomaterial packaging; you can immediately see the care for the EU environment. The cat appreciated the sticks too, rubbing her cheeks against them and purring.

Fernpaw reply

Good afternoon. Thank you for your purchase. We are glad you appreciated our efforts to create recyclable packaging.

Susanne D.April 20, 2026

No artificial dyes, just high-quality and completely natural wood.

Fernpaw reply

Hello. Thank you for trusting the Fernpaw brand.

Michael B.April 19, 2026

Eco-friendly packaging is a plus. But the kraft label peeled off while I was carrying it in my backpack in the rain.

Fernpaw reply

Good afternoon. Thank you for your feedback. We use film-free labels for easy recycling, but we will take your comment about paper moisture resistance into account.

Felix W.April 19, 2026

10 pieces in a pack is a great deal. I give her one per play session, and the cat rubs her cheeks against it for a long time and purrs.

Fernpaw reply

Good afternoon. A set of 10 sticks usually lasts a long time if you put them away after play.

Camille T.April 18, 2026

Convenient monomaterial packaging, showing immediate care for the environment. The cat is absolutely thrilled with the sticks, rubbing her whole body against them. There are 10 pieces in the set, very economical.

Fernpaw reply

Good afternoon. Thank you for your high rating. The eco-friendliness of the packaging and the quality of the contents are equally important to us.

Tobias G.April 17, 2026

It's great that the brand uses European production to reduce transport distances. The sticks themselves are high-quality, and my pet loved them.

Fernpaw reply

Hello. Thank you for your review. Localizing our processes in Europe helps us reduce our carbon footprint.

Bram K.April 16, 2026

Great chewing sticks, they clean plaque off the teeth perfectly.

Fernpaw reply

Hello. Thank you for your review! Mechanical cleaning while chewing is a great bonus to playtime.

Giulia B.April 15, 2026

Cleans teeth excellently, literally removes plaque mechanically when chewing the wood.

Fernpaw reply

Good afternoon. Thank you for your review. It's great that the sticks help maintain oral hygiene.

Sophie L.April 15, 2026

A wonderful alternative to plastic battery-operated toys. This is pure nature; the cat finds a use for the stick herself and actively rolls it around the floor.

Fernpaw reply

Hello. Natural toys stimulate cats' natural instincts better than any synthetics.

Bram K.April 14, 2026

My lazy adult cat chases this stick all over the apartment like a little kitten. Natural matatabi sticks turned out to be a powerful stimulant for play activity.

Fernpaw reply

Hello. It's so nice to hear that matatabi helped liven up your cat.

Michal N.April 13, 2026

I liked that there are no artificial preservatives in the ingredients. It's just a dried stick, but for some reason my cat is absolutely crazy about it; he licks and bites it.

Fernpaw reply

Hello. The secret lies in the natural essential oils of matatabi, which instinctively attract most cats.

Susanne D.April 12, 2026

It's really cool that the brand works with European manufacturers. Fast delivery, fresh product. The cat chews on the tips of the sticks with huge appetite.

Fernpaw reply

Hello. Thank you for your high rating. Short transport distances really do help keep the product fresh.

Agnieszka W.April 11, 2026

Unbleached kraft label — I respect the brand's approach.

Fernpaw reply

Good afternoon. Thank you for paying attention to the details of our eco-friendly packaging.

Sabine L.April 10, 2026

Excellent sticks for mechanical teeth cleaning. The cat chews on them with sheer delight, and his gums don't bleed. I'm glad it's a 100% natural product without chemicals.

Fernpaw reply

Hello. Thank you for your review. It's great to hear that the teeth cleaning process is comfortable for your cat.

Camille T.April 10, 2026

A great natural accessory that keeps my cat interested in playing without any batteries or squeakers. Quiet, calm, and the cat is busy. She chewed it, rubbed against it, and went to sleep.

Fernpaw reply

Good afternoon. Thank you for your review. Matatabi is great for naturally stimulating hunting and play instincts without unnecessary noise.

Marco R.April 9, 2026

You can feel the Japanese quality of the matatabi right away. The sticks are even, clean, and completely safe.

Fernpaw reply

Hello. We carefully select our raw materials so we can offer only the best. Thank you for your rating.

Julia S.April 8, 2026
Great Oral Hygiene

I bought these specifically to help clean my cat's teeth. My adult cat is prone to tartar buildup, and she absolutely refuses to let me brush her teeth. She chews these sticks with huge pleasure, and the mechanical friction really does help remove soft plaque. There are exactly 10 pieces in the pack, which will definitely last us a couple of months. I was also very pleased with the mono-material packaging.

Fernpaw reply

Hello. Thank you for choosing our product. Chewing really does help maintain pets' oral hygiene.

Julia S.April 7, 2026
Cleans My Maine Coon's Teeth

My Maine Coon is 4 years old, and he started having slight plaque issues on his teeth. The vet recommended mechanical cleaning. These Fernpaw chew sticks worked perfectly. My cat holds the stick with his paws and chews it with his back teeth, and the process just happens naturally. There are 10 pieces in the set, so they will last a long time. I’m glad they are 100% natural, without any chemical impregnations.

Fernpaw reply

Good afternoon. It’s great that our sticks help maintain your Maine Coon’s dental hygiene. Thank you for your review.

Camille T.April 6, 2026
My Sphynx Appreciated the Matatabi

My Sphynx doesn’t react to valerian or catnip at all, and I had already thought he just didn’t like that kind of thing in general. But Fernpaw matatabi sticks changed everything! He gently chews the end, rubs his chin against it, and relaxes. It’s really nice that there are no hidden fillers in the ingredients, just the natural wood itself.

Fernpaw reply

Hello. Silvervine contains several essential oils that are attractive to cats, so it often works where catnip does not.

Carlos M.April 6, 2026

I hide it in a drawer after a play session so my pet doesn’t lose interest in the scent.

Fernpaw reply

Hello. You’re using an excellent tactic for keeping the toy feeling new.

Erik J.April 5, 2026

the ingredients are listed honestly with nothing hidden. the cat chews it happily, I recommend it to everyone

Fernpaw reply

Good afternoon. Thank you for the recommendation and for trusting the Fernpaw brand.

Carlos M.April 4, 2026

no hidden fillers, just pure wood. I recommend buying it.

Fernpaw reply

Hello. Thank you for the recommendation and for choosing our natural product.

Julien D.April 3, 2026

A great alternative to annoying jingling stuffed toys. Peace and quiet in the house.

Fernpaw reply

Good afternoon. We agree, silent natural toys are comfortable both for pets and their owners.

Sarah W.April 2, 2026

The sticks are good, and the smell turned out to be very appealing to my cat. The fact that the label is made without chlorine bleaching is a nice bonus for the brand’s eco-friendliness.

Fernpaw reply

Good afternoon. Thank you for your trust. We try to make our products as safe as possible for both animals and the environment.

Marie K.April 2, 2026

We stopped liking regular catnip a long time ago, but silvervine really caught his interest. The cat plays wildly, then calms down. The main thing is to take the stick away in time after the session.

Fernpaw reply

Good afternoon. Thank you for your review. You are absolutely right, alternating periods of play and rest helps preserve the novelty effect.

Julia S.April 1, 2026

There are 10 pieces in the pack, but the cat chewed one and won’t go near them anymore. It’s a shame there isn’t a smaller trial pack.

Fernpaw reply

Good afternoon. We understand your disappointment. You can put the used stick in a closed jar for a couple of weeks so your cat’s interest has time to return.

Thomas K.March 31, 2026

the packaging is easy to recycle in the EU. my cat likes the sticks and rolls them around on the floor.

Fernpaw reply

Hello. Thank you for your review. We’re glad our mono-material packaging is convenient to dispose of.

Camille T.March 30, 2026

Great pack size, 10 pieces in the set is very good value. Each stick is neat, with no mold or sharp knots. It’s easy for the cat to hold it with her paws while chewing.

Fernpaw reply

Good afternoon. We carefully sort the sticks before packaging to ensure pets’ comfort and safety.

Michael B.March 29, 2026

I bought these for mechanical teeth cleaning. The cat chews the stick, but it gets soggy very quickly and splinters end up all over the carpet. It may help with oral hygiene, but it makes a lot of mess.

Fernpaw reply

Hello. Softening of the wood during chewing is a natural process that helps keep the gums safe. We recommend giving the treat on easy-to-clean surfaces.

Laura H.March 29, 2026
Won’t Replace Tooth Brushing

Our Siamese cat Lila has minor tartar problems. I understand that this is a natural accessory and not a veterinary product, but I was hoping for a miracle. The cat plays with the sticks and happily rolls them around on the floor. However, she refuses to chew them, so they haven’t helped her teeth at all. As a toy for variety it’s not bad, but in our case it completely fails to perform its function as a chew treat.

Fernpaw reply

Good afternoon. You are right, the sticks are only for prevention with active chewing and do not replace veterinary care. To encourage chewing, you can lightly scratch the surface of the stick.

Christian F.March 28, 2026

I respect brands that make an effort with shorter logistics routes across Europe and use mono-material packaging. The cat appreciated the chew sticks themselves right away and chews them every day.

Fernpaw reply

Good afternoon. Reducing transport distance is an important step in lowering the carbon footprint. Thank you for sharing our values.

Antoine L.March 27, 2026

A cool natural treat accessory, my cat happily chews it every day.

Fernpaw reply

Hello. Thank you for the kind review, we’re glad to do our best for your pets.

Susanne D.March 26, 2026

The vet said we needed to clean the surface of the teeth. These sticks are just right for mechanical cleaning. We give them under supervision, and the cat likes the taste.

Fernpaw reply

Good afternoon. Thank you for your review. Chewing the sticks is an excellent way to support your pet’s basic oral hygiene.

Michal N.March 25, 2026

No artificial flavorings, it just smells like dry wood. The cat likes it.

Fernpaw reply

Hello. Thank you! We stand for 100% natural products with no unnecessary additives.

Markus T.March 25, 2026
Strange Pet Reaction

I bought these for my Maine Coon named Graf. He really did start actively rubbing against the stick and drooling, just as described. But the problem is that afterward he becomes overly excited and even aggressive for a couple of minutes. I have to take the stick away immediately. Apparently the stimulation turned out to be too strong for our nervous system, and we definitely won’t use up all 10 pieces.

Fernpaw reply

Hello. Excessive excitement can sometimes occur in cats with high sensitivity to silvervine. In such cases, it really is better to limit contact time to 1-2 minutes or stop using it altogether.

Daan V.March 24, 2026

A good alternative to plastic mice and balls. Natural matatabi causes a storm of emotions in our Sphynx. The main thing is not to forget to put it away after playtime.

Fernpaw reply

Hello. Thank you for your review. Natural toys really do enrich indoor cats’ environment very well.

Bram K.March 23, 2026

10 excellent-quality matatabi sticks. The cat chews them with pleasure.

Fernpaw reply

Good afternoon. Thank you for the short and positive review. We wish your cat enjoyable playtime.

Julia S.March 22, 2026

A good alternative to catnip, although the rule about putting it away after play is a bit annoying. I keep forgetting and the cat hides them under the sofa

Fernpaw reply

Hello. Thank you for your purchase. The sticks need to be put away for your pet’s safety and to maintain interest in the treat.

Sophie L.March 21, 2026

My cat is fairly indifferent to catnip, but she’s crazy about silvervine. She chews a little every day. Her teeth have become noticeably whiter.

Fernpaw reply

Hello. Thank you for your review. Chewing really does help deal with dental plaque.

Lars O.March 21, 2026

Perfect play enrichment for adult indoor cats who often just get bored.

Fernpaw reply

Good afternoon. Thank you for your review. Stimulating natural instincts really helps enrich indoor cats' lives.

Bram K.March 20, 2026

Great play enrichment without batteries, lights, and all sorts of synthetic materials.

Fernpaw reply

Good afternoon. We are glad you appreciated our natural approach to pet entertainment.

Marie K.March 19, 2026

Silvervine really works! The cat simply won't let go of this stick.

Fernpaw reply

Hello. We are so glad the accessory brought so many positive emotions.

Michael B.March 18, 2026
Great eco-friendly approach

I was really won over by the description mentioning the monomaterial packaging and unbleached kraft label. Waste sorting is important in Europe, and it's nice when the manufacturer thinks about it. The matatabi sticks themselves are high quality, and the cat happily chews on them. The only thing is, after chewing, small splinters are left on the floor, but that's expected from natural wood. I put the stick away after playtime.

Fernpaw reply

Hello. Thank you for appreciating our eco-friendly approach and monomaterial packaging.

Matthias V.March 18, 2026

A great way to add play stimulation for the cat. Ours is getting older, doesn't like to run around, but lying down and chewing on the Japanese stick is just perfect.

Fernpaw reply

Good afternoon. We are glad the sticks suited your older pet for some calm leisure time.

Julia S.March 17, 2026

There are exactly 10 sticks in the pack, all neat and roughly the same size. The cat immediately started chewing on it, although usually it just bats toys around with its paw. An extra plus for the monomaterial packaging, we dropped it in the recycling bin without any issues.

Fernpaw reply

Good afternoon. Thank you for your review. We pay a lot of attention to eco-friendly packaging and are glad you appreciated it.

Thomas K.March 16, 2026
A great alternative to catnip

My Scottish Fold, Max, has always been indifferent to catnip toys; he would just sniff and walk away. I decided to try these Fernpaw matatabi sticks after reading about their special effect. The result surprised me: the cat immediately started rubbing his face against the stick, rolling it on the floor, and then chewing on it for a long time. I give it strictly according to the instructions, for about 15 minutes under supervision, and then hide it in a cabinet. As a bonus, I noticed the plaque on his fangs got a little lighter from this mechanical chewing.

Fernpaw reply

Hello. We are glad matatabi became a great alternative to catnip for your pet. Chew sticks really do help maintain dental cleanliness.

Antoine L.March 15, 2026

Rubs against this stick like crazy, a great toy.

Fernpaw reply

Good afternoon. It's great to hear our toy brought so much joy to your cat.

Lisa C.March 14, 2026

My kitty just loves rolling this stick on the floor and rubbing her cheeks against it. True play stimulation. The packaging is recyclable, which is also a plus.

Fernpaw reply

Good afternoon. It's wonderful to hear the toy was to your cat's liking and you liked our eco-friendly packaging.

Erik J.March 14, 2026

I'm happy about the packaging, which can actually be recycled in the EU. The cat finds it tasty.

Fernpaw reply

Good afternoon. Thank you! We are constantly working to improve the eco-friendliness of our products.

Michael B.March 13, 2026
Eco-friendly manufacturing approach

As someone who carefully sorts their trash, I really appreciate brands like this. Packaging made of recyclable monomaterial for the EU and an unbleached kraft label is a huge plus. The Japanese sticks themselves are of excellent quality, clean, with no signs of mold. The cat plays with them non-stop, chewing on the tips for a long time. It's great that the ingredients are honest and there are no hidden chemical treatments.

Fernpaw reply

Good afternoon. Thank you for highlighting our packaging. We pay a lot of attention to the eco-friendliness of materials and ingredient transparency.

Stefan M.March 12, 2026

Our Maine Coon chewed the tip of the stick off in one session. The teeth really do get cleaned due to mechanical friction; the plaque is visibly reduced. The main thing is to hide it after playing, otherwise interest fades quickly.

Fernpaw reply

Hello. Thank you for sharing your experience. Chewing really does help maintain oral hygiene, but we remind you that the product does not replace veterinary care.

Anna S.March 11, 2026

A pack of 10 sticks lasts a long time, very economical.

Fernpaw reply

Hello. Thank you for your purchase. We are glad you are happy with the pack size.

Matthias V.March 11, 2026

High-quality Japanese sticks, not overdried. The cat rubs his chin on them and purrs like a tractor. We'll be buying more.

Fernpaw reply

Hello. We are very glad you were pleased with the quality of our matatabi.

Sabine L.March 10, 2026

High-quality chew sticks, natural raw materials from Japan. The cat chews on them non-stop.

Fernpaw reply

Hello. We are glad the quality of the sticks appealed to your pet.

Sophie L.March 9, 2026

The Japanese sticks turned out to be better than local alternatives. The cat bats them around with her paw and gently chews the bark. It's good that there are no artificial flavorings, just the natural scent of silvervine.

Fernpaw reply

Good afternoon. Thank you for your review. The natural origin of the raw materials is a key factor in why matatabi is so attractive to cats.

Camille T.March 8, 2026

Perfectly cleans plaque off the fangs. A natural way to clean teeth.

Fernpaw reply

Good afternoon. Thank you! Mechanical chewing really is beneficial for preventing plaque.

Andrea N.March 7, 2026

Honest ingredients, 100% matatabi with no fillers. But the scent is very weak, so it feels like that's why the cat barely pays any attention to it.

Fernpaw reply

Good afternoon. Natural matatabi doesn't have a strong scent to humans, but animals can smell it. If the cat doesn't react, it might be among the percentage of animals that are insensitive to this plant.

Chloe M.March 7, 2026

Natural ingredients without any chemicals, the cat chews on it happily.

Fernpaw reply

Hello. Natural ingredients are our main priority. Thank you for choosing Fernpaw.

Agnieszka W.March 6, 2026

an unbleached kraft label is awesome. the cat loved the sticks, chews on them eagerly.

Fernpaw reply

Good afternoon. Thank you for noticing our eco-friendly packaging solutions.

Lisa C.March 5, 2026
A lifesaver for chewed wires

My Siamese cat loves to chew on everything in sight, so these matatabi sticks became a lifesaver for my wires. I give them strictly under supervision, as soon as I see she's looking for something to chew. The stick massages her gums well and cleans her teeth of soft plaque. The set has 10 pieces, so this supply will last us for several months of active use.

Fernpaw reply

Hello. Offering a pet a safe alternative is a great solution. Chewing on sticks really does redirect cats' attention away from household items.

Nicolas R.March 4, 2026

Exactly 10 pieces in the pack. The cat chews on them happily; he doesn't like catnip.

Fernpaw reply

Hello. We are glad silvervine was a good alternative for your pet.

Michal N.March 4, 2026

Good-sized Japanese sticks, comfortable for an adult cat to chew on.

Fernpaw reply

Good afternoon. Thank you for your comment. We are glad the stick size was convenient.

Julia S.March 3, 2026

I noticed that chewing on these sticks really helps remove light plaque from teeth. The cat gently gnaws on the edges, and her gums aren't harmed at all in the process.

Fernpaw reply

Hello. Mechanical teeth cleaning during play is one of the main benefits of natural matatabi.

Michael B.March 2, 2026

Bought as a trial because the sticks are natural and from Japan. There are 10 pieces in the set, which will last a long time because I give one stick once a week. The cat goes crazy and chews on it.

Fernpaw reply

Hello. Thank you for your purchase. Japanese matatabi is of high quality and usually generates strong interest among cats.

Camille T.March 1, 2026

My cat really took to the silvervine; he never cared for catnip at all.

Fernpaw reply

Good afternoon. We’re glad silvervine turned out to be such a great discovery for your cat.

Markus T.March 1, 2026

Much more effective than regular catnip. My cat stays interested in active play for a long time.

It mechanically cleans plaque from the fangs, tested on our cat.

Fernpaw reply

Good afternoon. Thank you for confirming the effectiveness of the sticks for cleaning teeth.

Andrea N.February 26, 2026

Good play enrichment for an adult indoor cat. She takes the stick in her teeth and tosses it around. After a chewing session, I simply put it away in the cupboard. 10 pieces is a great supply.

Fernpaw reply

Good afternoon. Thank you for your review. You’re doing the right thing by putting the sticks away after play to keep your cat interested in them.

Anna K.February 25, 2026

Everyday oral hygiene works; the little teeth have become whiter.

Fernpaw reply

Good afternoon. We’re glad you noticed a positive effect on dental hygiene.

Andrea N.February 24, 2026

Fernpaw sticks are a good size, not too thin. I give one to my cat once every three days under supervision, just as the instructions say. There is definitely a lot of drool, but the teeth are clean.

Fernpaw reply

Good afternoon. Increased drooling during play with matatabi is an absolutely normal reaction. Thank you for following the usage recommendations.

Katharina R.February 23, 2026

A real lifesaver against boredom for an indoor pet. I give it to my cat while I’m working, and she keeps busy chewing and rolling the stick around on the carpet.

Fernpaw reply

Good afternoon. Thank you for your purchase. Matatabi is excellent for independent, but supervised, play.

Safe Chewing for a Maine Coon

I spent a long time looking for something my Maine Coon could chew. He chews through plastic toys and swallows them, which is dangerous. These natural matatabi sticks have been a lifesaver. They are 100% wood with no artificial flavorings, so I don’t worry. My cat carefully chews the end of the stick, no splinters fly off, though I still keep an eye on the process. The set of 10 will definitely last about three months.

Fernpaw reply

Good afternoon. Thank you for trusting the Fernpaw brand. Pet safety is our priority, which is why we use only natural sticks with no artificial additives.

Maria C.February 22, 2026

Healthy Teeth and Play

My Persian cat is already five years old, and the vet advised adding mechanical cleaning with toys to help prevent plaque. These Fernpaw sticks were a perfect fit. My cat doesn’t just play with them, she deliberately chews them with her back teeth. I really like the brand’s transparency: no hidden fillers in the ingredients, only 100% silvervine.

Fernpaw reply

Hello. Thank you for your detailed review. We’re glad our natural accessory has become a useful addition to your cat’s everyday care.

Piotr K.February 20, 2026

Fernpaw reply

Good afternoon. We recommend taking the stick away after 15-20 minutes of play so it lasts longer.

Sophie L.February 18, 2026

Good stimulation for a lazy cat. He usually just sleeps, but with this stick he plays actively and rolls around for about 15 minutes. I put it away after play so he doesn’t get used to it.

Fernpaw reply

Good afternoon. It’s great that matatabi encourages your pet to play actively.

Lars O.February 17, 2026

Just right for adult cats, mine chews them every evening.

Natural and Safe Toy

I was looking for a safe toy for my cat and came across this set from Fernpaw. I really like that the packaging is produced in Europe to keep the transport distance short, while the sticks themselves are from Japan. My cat can spend half an hour rubbing her cheeks against one, and then carefully chewing the bark. It’s a great way to keep a pet occupied without any batteries or plastic. I’m also glad there are no artificial preservatives in the ingredients; everything is as transparent as possible.

Fernpaw reply

Good afternoon. Thank you for your detailed review. We try to minimize our transport footprint and offer the most transparent product possible.

Tobias G.February 15, 2026

I really respect brands that list the ingredients honestly, with no hidden fillers or artificial flavorings. There are 10 neat sticks in the pack, and the cat is thrilled.

Fernpaw reply

Hello. Thank you for your trust. Honesty and transparency in ingredients are among the main principles of our work.

Fernpaw reply

Hello. We’re glad the sticks helped redirect your cat’s attention to safe chewing.

There are exactly 10 pieces in the package. My cat happily rolls the stick all over the carpet.

Fernpaw reply

Hello. Silvervine really does often attract cats that are indifferent to catnip. We’re glad it worked for you.

Fernpaw reply

Hello. Indeed, many cats that are indifferent to catnip react great to silvervine. Thank you for your purchase.

Lisa C.February 10, 2026

Fernpaw reply

Good afternoon. We are glad our natural accessory helped redirect your cat's chewing instinct into a safe direction.

Marco R.February 8, 2026

Excellent natural treat accessory from Japan. Top-notch quality.

Fernpaw reply

Hello. Thank you for rating our product's quality so highly.

Anna K.February 7, 2026

I always put the twig in an airtight jar after a play session. Because of this, even after a month, my cat reacts to the matatabi just as wildly as on the first day.

Fernpaw reply

Good afternoon. This is the perfect way to extend the lifespan of the sticks and keep your cat interested.

Sarah W.February 7, 2026

I give him a stick for about fifteen minutes, then put it away in a cabinet. If you leave it out permanently, the interest fades quickly. A set of 10 will last a long time.

Fernpaw reply

Hello. You are using the accessory exactly right. Storing the twigs out of your pet's reach extends their lifespan.

Sophie L.February 6, 2026

She drools over the stick incredibly! The main thing is to take it away in time after a play session so the stick can dry out until next time.

Fernpaw reply

Good afternoon. Great tip for other customers. Air-drying the twigs helps preserve their properties longer.

Nicolas R.February 5, 2026

The cat chews the stick and cleans his teeth. Much easier than using a toothbrush.

Fernpaw reply

Good afternoon. We're glad our accessory made dental care easier for your pet.

Agnieszka W.February 5, 2026

Fernpaw reply

Good afternoon. Thank you for your review. Matatabi (silvervine) really does often appeal to cats that are indifferent to classic catnip.

Marco R.February 4, 2026

My cat is absolutely indifferent to regular catnip, but this silvervine was a huge hit. He rubs against it so much he purrs loud enough for the whole room to hear.

Fernpaw reply

Good afternoon. The effect of silvervine often exceeds the reaction to regular catnip.

Matthias V.February 3, 2026

The cat chews off the bark, which provides a mechanical cleaning of the teeth surfaces. An excellent natural treat; we don't need any chemical additives.

Helps with dental tartar

I've bought these chewing twigs more than once. My Abyssinian is prone to tartar buildup, and the vet advised adding some mechanical cleaning. These Fernpaw sticks do the job perfectly. The cat chews them enthusiastically, and her teeth look visibly cleaner. I really like that the manufacturer honestly lists the ingredients without any hidden fillers. It's simply a natural wooden stick that brings benefit and joy to the animal.

Fernpaw reply

Good afternoon. We are glad our sticks help maintain your cat's oral hygiene. We remind you that this product is an accessory for play and prevention, not a veterinary medication.

Sophie L.February 1, 2026

My cat is already 8 years old and rarely plays. These Fernpaw chew sticks managed to spark his interest. He sniffs them, rubs his chin on them, and chews a little.

Good product from Fernpaw. I always put the stick away after a play session so the cat doesn't lose interest. The only ingredient is matatabi, no chemicals.

Fernpaw reply

Hello. We also believe that natural toys without batteries are a great choice for cats.

Chloe M.January 24, 2026

Convenient pack of 10. I give out one at a time for 15 minutes, then hide it back in the drawer. That way the matatabi does not lose its scent.

Eco-friendly and good for the cat

I was really pleased with Fernpaw's approach to packaging. I live in Germany, and waste sorting is important to me, so the mono-material packaging and kraft label without chlorine bleaching are a huge plus. The cat chews the sticks with pleasure. I noticed that the plaque on the back teeth has become a little less, since chewing works like mechanical cleaning. There are 10 pieces in the pack, all the sticks are intact, with no mold or chemical smell. An excellent natural product with no hidden fillers.

Fernpaw reply

Good afternoon. Thank you for the detailed review. We really do pay close attention to eco-friendly packaging and transparent ingredients. We are glad you noticed this.

Thomas K.January 17, 2026
A great alternative to regular catnip

My British shorthair Barsik has always been completely indifferent to regular catnip, so I had doubts for a long time about whether matatabi was worth buying. But these sticks turned out to be a real discovery! The cat immediately started rubbing his face against the stick, rolling it around on the carpet, and drooling with pleasure. I give him one stick a couple of times a week, strictly under supervision, just as the manufacturer recommends.

Fernpaw reply

Good afternoon. We are glad your pet appreciated matatabi. Alternating it with other toys really does help maintain a high level of interest in the sticks.

Markus T.January 16, 2026

Eco-friendly and the cat likes it

I was looking specifically for natural toys without plastic or feathers for my Siamese cat. These matatabi sticks from Japan turned out to be ideal. The cat rolls them across the floor, rubs her cheeks on them, and chews actively. I was very pleased with Fernpaw's approach to sustainability: packaging that is easy to recycle in the EU and an honest ingredient list with no hidden additives. I give them strictly under supervision a couple of times a week, and her interest has not faded for a month now.

Fernpaw reply

Good afternoon. Thank you for the detailed feedback. Our goal is to create safe play enrichment, and we are glad your cat liked the sticks.

Stefan M.January 13, 2026
Lasts a long time

There are a full 10 chewing sticks in the pack, which makes the purchase very worthwhile. I give my Maine Coon one stick every three days. First he sniffs it for a long time, then he starts drooling and actively chewing the wood. I noticed that his breath has become less sharp, apparently chewing really does work as a mechanical cleaning of the teeth from food residue.

Fernpaw reply

Good afternoon. We appreciate your review. Regular chewing of matatabi really does help keep teeth clean in a natural way.

Christian F.January 13, 2026

It is convenient that the ingredients are transparent, with no fillers of any kind. The cat rubs against it like crazy and mouths it in his teeth for a long time.

Fernpaw reply

Hello. Thank you for your review. We list the ingredients honestly so you can be confident in the product's safety.

Piotr K.January 9, 2026
Honest ingredients and a storm of emotions

I learned about silvervine from a veterinarian as an alternative to catnip. I spent a long time choosing an honest manufacturer and settled on Fernpaw. They were the only ones who clearly listed the composition with percentages, with no hidden fillers. My Bengal goes crazy for these sticks: she rolls around with them, tosses them, and chews actively. I give them strictly under supervision, since she can chew the stick into small splinters. Excellent play enrichment for active breeds.

Fernpaw reply

Hello. Thank you for choosing our products. Supervision during play is especially important for cats with strong jaws.

Thomas K.January 9, 2026
A lifesaver for cats indifferent to catnip

Our British shorthair is seven years old, and he has completely ignored regular catnip his whole life. I read that silvervine often works differently. I gave him one Fernpaw stick to try, and the cat spent about twenty minutes rubbing his face against it and enthusiastically chewing the bark. I always put it away after play, just as the manufacturer recommends, so the scent does not become too familiar. Ten pieces will last us a long time, and the natural composition is excellent.

Fernpaw reply

Hello. We are glad to hear that matatabi suited your pet better than classic catnip. You are absolutely right to put the stick away after play, as this helps keep him interested in it for a long time.

Stefan M.January 8, 2026
High-quality twigs from Japan

We decided to try a set of 10 sticks for two adult Ragdolls. We really liked the quality of the twigs themselves — they are solid, not dusty at all, and imported from Japan. The cats were immediately interested in the smell. One just rubs his face on it, the other actively chews on the tip. It's great that the manufacturer honestly lists the ingredients without any unnecessary additives. I noticed that after these chewing sessions, their breath got a bit fresher. It will last a long time.

Fernpaw reply

Hello. Thank you for your trust. We carefully control the quality of our matatabi to ensure pets receive only safe and solid twigs.

Markus T.January 7, 2026

Pretty good sticks. The cat chews on them every day, I noticed the bad breath has lessened a bit. Mechanical teeth cleaning really works.

Fernpaw reply

Good afternoon. We try to avoid unnecessary chemicals at all stages of production, including the creation of the packaging.

Laura H.January 6, 2026
Natural and safe

I spent a long time looking for a toy without artificial dyes and flavorings for my pet. Fernpaw sticks fully meet my strict requirements. These are just neatly dried Japanese matatabi twigs. The cat chews on them quite delicately, the wood doesn't splinter into sharp shards. After a play session, I hide them back in the bag. The cat is incredibly happy, and I have peace of mind regarding her safety.

Fernpaw reply

Hello. Thank you for the high rating. We are glad that the natural format of our product suited your cat.

Andrea N.January 5, 2026

Unbleached kraft label is a small thing, but a nice touch. The sticks are straight and clean. The cat chews carefully, the teeth look visually cleaner from plaque.

Fernpaw reply

Hello. Thank you for paying attention to the details of our product. We are glad the sticks help with dental hygiene.

Lisa C.January 4, 2026

My British Shorthair is absolutely crazy about these wooden sticks) He chews them so hard that splinters fly everywhere, gotta keep an eye on him. But his teeth are white and breath is fresh, I recommend it.

Fernpaw reply

Good afternoon. We are glad your pet liked them. Thank you for following the recommendation not to leave the cat alone with the stick unattended.

Piotr K.January 4, 2026

I'm glad there are no artificial dyes or flavorings, just pure wood.

Fernpaw reply

Fernpaw reply

Good afternoon. Thank you for your review! We are glad the cat enjoyed the matatabi, and you appreciated our approach to logistics and packaging.

Sanne de J.January 2, 2026

We decided to try them because our cat doesn't care for catnip at all. But she grabbed this Japanese stick with her teeth right away and started chewing on it. Awesome effect!

Fernpaw reply

Good afternoon. Thank you for your review. Being natural is the main advantage of our sticks.

Fernpaw reply

Good afternoon. We are glad the sticks help maintain your cat's oral hygiene in a way that is comfortable for her.

Sanne de J.December 31, 2025

Good afternoon. Thank you for trusting our brand. We wish your pet fun playtimes.

Sarah W.December 28, 2025
Sparks interest in playing

Our Bengal cat is very active, but quickly loses interest in plastic balls. These chew sticks were a real discovery. She doesn't just chew on the matatabi, she uses it like prey. It's great that this is a natural accessory, not some questionable chemical. The country of origin, Japan, inspires trust. The sticks are optimally sized, making it comfortable for the cat to hold them with her front paws. We will definitely order more when this pack of 10 runs out.

Fernpaw reply

Good afternoon. It's great that the sticks helped diversify your cat's play. The natural scent of matatabi is an excellent stimulant for hunting behavior.

Sanne de J.December 27, 2025

10 pieces in a set is very convenient. The sticks are natural, so they get shredded over time. I give them out one by one, supervise the process, and then throw away the leftovers.

Fernpaw reply

Good afternoon. Thank you for your review. Natural wood does get shredded when chewed, this is a normal process.

Alejandro G.December 27, 2025

Excellent quality matatabi, the twigs are fresh and aromatic for the cat.

Fernpaw reply

Hello. We carefully monitor the quality of our raw materials. Thank you for your review.

It's good that there are no artificial flavorings, it's all natural. But the kitten chewed on it a little bit, the bark peeled off, and then he wasn't interested in the bare wooden stick anymore. I expected a longer-lasting effect.

Fernpaw reply

Hello. The highest concentration of attractive substances is found in the bark. Once it is chewed off, it is recommended to replace the stick with a new one from the set.

Felix W.December 25, 2025

Completely satisfied with the purchase. The ingredients are totally pure, without any artificial dyes or flavorings. The cat enjoys playing with them, and I have peace of mind about his health during such chewing sessions.

Fernpaw reply

Hello. We carefully monitor the quality of our raw materials so your pets receive only safe accessories.

Andrea N.December 24, 2025

I only give them under supervision, as instructed. The cat loves chewing on them and doesn't swallow the splinters.

Fernpaw reply

Good afternoon. You are doing exactly the right thing by supervising the play process for your pet's safety.

Felix W.December 24, 2025

An honest ingredient list with no hidden fillers is a huge plus. I know exactly that I’m giving my pet a 100% safe product.

Fernpaw reply

Hello. Ingredient transparency is our top priority. Thank you for your trust.

Alejandro G.December 23, 2025

I hesitated for a long time because I’d bought catnip toys before and my cat ignored them. But these sticks worked! The eco-friendly packaging is a big plus too.

Fernpaw reply

Hello. We’re very glad our product was able to interest your pet. Thank you for choosing our brand.

Tobias G.December 23, 2025

I only give them under supervision, as stated in the instructions. The cat sometimes bites off the bark, so I take it away right away. They have a natural woody smell.

Fernpaw reply

Good afternoon. Thank you for your review. We recommend gently cleaning the chewed bark off the twig before the next use.

Marie K.December 22, 2025

just right for lazy adult cats. my British Shorthair has finally started moving, tossing this stick around and chasing it down the hallway

Fernpaw reply

Good afternoon. It’s great that the toy helped get your pet moving. We wish him lots more activity.

Daan V.December 21, 2025

Catnip doesn’t interest us at all, but these matatabi sticks were a huge hit.

Fernpaw reply

Hello. That’s a common situation; matatabi really does have a different range of attractive essential oils.

Lisa C.December 21, 2025

no artificial colors or flavorings just a clean piece of wood that smells like nature. the cat likes chewing it after meals

Fernpaw reply

Good afternoon. Thank you for your review. Our goal is to offer pets products with the most honest and natural ingredients possible.

Markus T.December 20, 2025
A Useful Chew Toy

We have two Sphynx cats, and both turned out to be fans of silvervine. Before this, we bought catnip toys with zero reaction. But here it’s a real battle for the stick! I’m glad that the chewing process helps clean the surface of their teeth, since this breed can have gum issues. The mono-material packaging is also a huge plus for easy waste sorting in our region.

Fernpaw reply

Hello. Thank you for your detailed review. We’re very glad your Sphynx cats appreciated the matatabi, and that you appreciated our eco-friendly packaging.

Chloe M.December 20, 2025

chews it with real pleasure, the main thing is to watch so she doesn’t choke on small pieces.

Fernpaw reply

Hello. That’s absolutely right, supervision during play is essential for safety.

Matthias V.December 19, 2025

A completely natural product with no artificial colors or flavorings. The cat approved and chews the stick with his eyes closed from pleasure.

Fernpaw reply

Hello. Thank you for trusting the Fernpaw brand. We make it a principle not to use artificial additives.

Susanne D.December 19, 2025

great mono-material packaging, I recycled it in the blue bin with no problem. the cat chews the twig every evening with great enthusiasm if I don’t take it away in time

Fernpaw reply

Good afternoon. Thank you for your care for the environment and for choosing our recyclable packaging.

Anna K.December 18, 2025

I give them only under supervision, just as the manufacturer Fernpaw recommends. Everything is safe.

Fernpaw reply

Good afternoon. Thank you for reading the instructions carefully. Pet safety comes first.

Maria C.December 17, 2025

There are 10 whole pieces in the set, and that amount will definitely last us a couple of months.

Fernpaw reply

Hello. The set really is economical, especially if you rotate the twigs.

Andreas P.December 17, 2025

An excellent natural accessory. I’m glad the brand works with European production facilities for a shorter transport route, even though the raw material itself is from Japan. The cat chews it happily.

Fernpaw reply

Hello. Thank you for the high rating. We try to minimize the carbon footprint when producing the packaging and packing the product.

Christian F.December 16, 2025

My cat ignores catnip, but silvervine was a huge hit. 10 pieces in the package is a great quantity. I give one at a time under supervision, as written in the instructions.

Fernpaw reply

Hello. We’re glad matatabi became a good alternative to catnip for your pet.

Daan V.December 16, 2025

great matatabi sticks with no artificial flavorings. the cat adores them, drools on them and rubs his face against them. I recycled the packaging.

Fernpaw reply

Good afternoon. Thank you for your purchase and for caring about the environment. We’re glad the cat appreciated the toy.

Stefan M.December 15, 2025

There are exactly 10 twigs of the same size in the set. The cat really liked chewing them.

Fernpaw reply

Good afternoon. Thank you for choosing our brand. We wish your cat enjoyable playtime.

Pieter M.December 15, 2025

played for about 10 minutes then I took it away and put it in a zip bag. works great

Fernpaw reply

Hello. Storing it in a sealed bag is a great way to preserve the matatabi aroma for future play sessions.

Piotr K.December 14, 2025

no batteries and no noise, just perfect eco-friendly entertainment

Fernpaw reply

Hello. Thank you for your review! Quiet, natural play is often what cats enjoy most.

Stefan M.December 13, 2025
Lasts a Long Time

The set of 10 pieces turned out to be very good value. My cat chews up the ends pretty quickly, but I just cut off the frayed part with pruning shears and can give it to him again. His reaction to matatabi is stronger than to regular catnip. Be sure to watch your pet during play, as stated in the instructions, so he doesn’t swallow large pieces of bark.

Fernpaw reply

Hello. Thank you for the useful tip with the pruning shears. We’re glad the set turned out to be good value for you.

Marie K.December 13, 2025

I bought it to try because of the shorter transport route for production. I don’t like a big carbon footprint. the cat liked it and chews the edges of the sticks. 10 pieces in a pack is good value.

Fernpaw reply

Good afternoon. Thank you for choosing our brand. We share your values when it comes to protecting the environment.

Anna K.December 12, 2025

Play without batteries and noise! The perfect natural toy.

Fernpaw reply

Hello. Thank you for your review. Nature creates the best entertainment for pets.

Lisa C.December 12, 2025
A Good Alternative to Toys

I spent a long time looking for something natural to enrich the environment for my Bengal, Leo. He’s an active guy and is always chewing on something. These twigs have been our salvation. He chews them happily instead of the furniture. I’m pleased with the European approach to packaging production and the honest ingredient list on the label. 10 sticks for this price is a real find. I’ll definitely order more when this pack runs out.

Fernpaw reply

Hello. Thank you for your review. We’re glad Fernpaw sticks help channel your pet’s energy in the right direction.

Nicolas R.December 11, 2025

Great for mechanically cleaning the surface of the teeth. I’ll buy again.

Fernpaw reply

Hello. Thank you for your review; dental hygiene is very important.

Susanne D.December 11, 2025

Our vet recommended something for chewing. This isn’t a medicine, but it’s excellent for everyday oral hygiene. It mechanically cleans the teeth while the cat has fun.

Fernpaw reply

Good afternoon. It’s great that our sticks help with your cat’s everyday oral hygiene.

Thomas K.December 10, 2025
Expected More from Matatabi

I have a British Shorthair named Barsik, and he’s 4 years old. He is completely indifferent to regular catnip, so I decided to try the much-praised silvervine. I bought this set of 10 sticks right away. For the first five minutes, the cat really did rub against the twig, but he flatly refused to chew it. He just rolls it around on the laminate with his paw. It’s fine as a toy, but we didn’t get the claimed teeth-cleaning effect because he doesn’t chew them at all.

Fernpaw reply

Hello. Reactions to matatabi are individual and depend on the pet’s genetics. Try gently scraping some bark off the stick with a knife to intensify the natural aroma and encourage chewing.

Carlos M.December 10, 2025

Five-plus for play enrichment, the cat is absolutely thrilled.

Fernpaw reply

Hello. Play enrichment makes cats happier. Thank you for your purchase!

Chloe M.December 9, 2025

Chews the stick every evening, the teeth look visually a bit cleaner near the gums.

Fernpaw reply

Hello. It's wonderful that mechanical teeth cleaning shows visible results. Thank you for your review.

Sabine L.December 9, 2025

I really like that the packaging is made of a single material and it's easy to drop off for recycling at our local center. The sticks themselves are dense, the cat happily chews on them, and the plaque on the fangs is gradually scraping off.

Fernpaw reply

Good afternoon. Thank you for supporting our eco-friendly approach and recycling the packaging.

Lars O.December 8, 2025

10 matatabi sticks — a great supply. The toy is safe and interesting.

Fernpaw reply

Good afternoon. Thank you for your purchase. May playtime always be safe and fun.

Marco R.December 8, 2025

No artificial preservatives. They just smell like wood, the cat is thrilled.

Fernpaw reply

Good afternoon. Thank you for rating the naturalness of our product so highly.

Matthias V.December 7, 2025

Cool sticks, the cat kicks them with his hind legs and bites them. It's awesome that it's a natural thing with no hidden fillers. I only give them under supervision as instructed.

Fernpaw reply

Hello. Thank you for your trust. Supervised play is the key to your pet's safety.

Sarah W.December 7, 2025
Evening ritual with Luna

Bought this for my Siamese cat as play enrichment. We now have a whole ritual: in the evening, I take a matatabi stick out of the pack, and Luna immediately starts purring. She loves holding it down with her front paws and biting it. It's great that the manufacturer honestly lists the ingredients without any hidden fillers. It's a battery-free toy, but it brings more joy than interactive mice.

Fernpaw reply

Good afternoon. It's lovely to hear about your evening ritual. Play enrichment is very important for indoor cats.

Nicolas R.December 6, 2025

The cat loves to gently gnaw on the tips of these sticks. I'm glad it's just a natural accessory without any chemicals that supports oral hygiene naturally.

Fernpaw reply

Hello. Thank you for your trust. Mechanical teeth cleaning during play is a great addition to basic care.

Pieter M.December 6, 2025

Just sticks, but so much joy. The cat rubs her chin on them and chews them. I like that there are no artificial dyes in the ingredients, everything is as natural as possible.

Fernpaw reply

Hello. We fundamentally do not use artificial dyes. We are glad the cat liked it.

Stefan M.December 5, 2025

The instructions say to put it away after a play session. That's inconvenient, I want to leave the toy for the cat all day. If I don't put it away, he just gets used to it and loses interest.

Fernpaw reply

Hello. The recommendation to put the stick away is specifically to prevent habituation to the silvervine scent. Offering the toy periodically helps maintain the novelty effect.

Maria C.December 4, 2025

the cat chews on the edges, it helps distract him from the wires

Fernpaw reply

Good afternoon. It's great that the sticks help safely redirect his chewing instinct.

Chloe M.December 4, 2025

The chlorine-free kraft label looks great. The cat loved the sticks.

Fernpaw reply

Hello. We are glad that our approach to design and production resonates with you.

Anna K.December 3, 2025

Mechanical teeth cleaning works perfectly, light plaque is removed right while chewing.

Fernpaw reply

Hello. Chewing on the sticks is an excellent way to maintain your cat's daily oral hygiene.

Anna S.December 3, 2025

Authentic sticks from Japan. The cat immediately caught the scent and started begging for the treat.

Fernpaw reply

Hello. Japanese matatabi has the brightest natural aroma that cats absolutely adore.

Carlos M.December 2, 2025

Exactly 10 pieces in the pack, the sticks are intact and clean.

Fernpaw reply

Good afternoon. Thank you for your review. We carefully control our packaging quality.

Sarah W.December 2, 2025

Monomaterial packaging is of course great for the environment, but my cat didn't appreciate the matatabi at all. She sniffed it and walked away.

Fernpaw reply

Good afternoon. Thank you for choosing an eco-friendly product. If the cat doesn't react to the scent, try moistening the tip of the stick with warm water to release it.

Julia S.December 2, 2025
A lifesaver for Maine Coon's teeth

Our Maine Coon, Barsik, doesn't react to regular catnip at all; he just sniffs it and walks away. I decided to try Fernpaw's matatabi since I was specifically looking for a natural, chemical-free product. The cat is thrilled! He rolls the stick all over the floor and chews on it eagerly. I noticed the plaque on his back fangs has lessened a bit, so the mechanical cleaning actually works. The set has 10 sticks, which will last a long time since I strictly give them under supervision a couple of times a week.

Fernpaw reply

Hello. We are glad your cat liked it. Mechanical chewing really does help maintain oral hygiene.

Alejandro G.December 1, 2025

10 sticks in a set is a really good deal price-wise for two cats

Fernpaw reply

Hello. We are glad you appreciated the convenience and value of our packaging.

Anna K.December 1, 2025

A chlorine-free kraft label is a big plus for an eco-friendly brand.

Fernpaw reply

Good afternoon. Thank you for appreciating our efforts towards eco-friendly packaging.

Lisa C.November 30, 2025

We used to buy catnip, but the cat lost interest in it. These Fernpaw chew sticks brought back his interest in playing; he runs around the apartment with the stick.

Fernpaw reply

Hello. It's nice to know that matatabi brought back your cat's interest in active play.

Pieter M.November 30, 2025

I give it strictly under supervision. The cat chews on it actively, but no splinters break off. An excellent way to add new stimulation for a pet that doesn't go outside.

Fernpaw reply

Hello. Advocating for safe play, we recommend exactly this approach. Thank you for following the guidelines.

Daan V.November 29, 2025
Honest and eco-friendly brand

My Abyssinian, Leo, usually loses interest in any accessories quickly, but these sticks won him over. He plays with them for about 20 minutes, chewing and hugging them with his hind legs. Special thanks to Fernpaw for the monomaterial packaging that is easy to dispose of in the EU, and for the lack of loud marketing claims on the pack. Everything is honest and to the point, an excellent eco-friendly pet product.

Fernpaw reply

Good afternoon. Thank you for highly rating our approach to packaging and honest ingredients. May Leo play with pleasure.

Maria C.November 29, 2025

The pet loves to just rub his neck and chin against this stick. An excellent purchase.

Fernpaw reply

Good afternoon. This kind of interaction is a great way to relieve stress in cats.

Anna S.November 28, 2025

An excellent alternative to valerian and catnip, it works gently.

Fernpaw reply

Hello. You are right, matatabi acts gently and naturally. We are glad you liked it.

Sabine L.November 28, 2025

The cat completely ignores catnip, but this silvervine was a huge hit. She rubs her cheeks against the stick for twenty minutes at a time. It's convenient that the packaging is made of a single material, I just tossed it right into the plastic recycling bin.

Fernpaw reply

Good afternoon. It's great that the matatabi sparked such interest. Thank you for supporting waste sorting.

Felix W.November 27, 2025

Play enrichment works great! The cat doesn't just chew it, he hunts this little twig too. The main thing is not to forget to put it away after playtime.

Fernpaw reply

Good afternoon. Thank you for your review. Taking the toy away at the right time helps keep your cat interested in it for a long time.

Sanne de J.November 27, 2025

Good sticks, the length is just right for an adult cat. During play, the teeth get gently cleaned of soft plaque.

Fernpaw reply

Good afternoon. Thank you for your purchase. Mechanical tooth cleaning during chewing is one of the main benefits of this accessory.

Michael B.November 26, 2025

my cat doesn't react to catnip at all, so I thought he'd ignore this too. but matatabi worked great, he chews it happily. I was pleased with the mono-material packaging, it went straight into the right recycling bin.

Fernpaw reply

Hello. Thank you for your review. Silvervine really is a great alternative for cats that don't respond to catnip.

Katharina R.November 26, 2025
Ragdoll is absolutely thrilled

We have a ragdoll, 3 years old, named Mia. She usually ignores almost all store-bought toys, but this silvervine caused a huge wave of excitement. Mia rolls the stick all over the house, tosses it up, and gently nibbles the edges. I really like that this is a 100% natural product with no artificial colors, flavors, or preservatives. I hide the twig in a drawer after every play session.

Fernpaw reply

Hello. It's nice to hear that Mia has found the perfect entertainment for herself. Putting the sticks away after playtime is a great practice.

Bram K.November 25, 2025

10 pieces in the set, definitely enough for a couple of months. The cat is happy.

Fernpaw reply

Hello. Thank you for your purchase, and we hope your pet enjoys playing with them.

Marie K.November 25, 2025

great thing for lazy cats. mine usually sleeps all day, but this really brought him to life. he chewed it for about 10 minutes and I put it away in the drawer as instructed.

Fernpaw reply

Good afternoon. It's great that silvervine helped get your pet moving.

Katharina R.November 25, 2025

The 10-piece pack is very good value. One stick lasts us several active play sessions if we put it away in the cupboard on time.

Fernpaw reply

Good afternoon. Thank you for the recommendation. Giving the sticks in measured sessions is an excellent way to keep your pet interested.

Agnieszka W.November 24, 2025

Cool natural accessory, doesn't become addictive if you put it away after playtime.

Fernpaw reply

Good afternoon. You're right, limiting the time keeps the animal interested.

Katharina R.November 24, 2025

A good alternative to plastic toys. No batteries, just a piece of wood, but the cat is happy. I take it away after playtime so he doesn't chew it all the way down.

Fernpaw reply

Hello. Thank you for your review. You're doing the right thing by supervising playtime with the sticks.

Sabine L.November 23, 2025

The mono-material packaging and kraft label without chlorine bleaching are great. There are 10 even sticks in the set. The cat got interested right away, rubs against them and chews them.

Fernpaw reply

Good afternoon. Thank you for noting our eco-friendly initiatives. We hope your kitty enjoys playing for a long time.

Carlos M.November 23, 2025

My fluffy little troublemaker rubs against this twig like crazy. It's a great way to give your pet new, safe play stimulation at home.

Fernpaw reply

Good afternoon. Rolling around and rubbing against the twig is a completely normal and positive reaction to matatabi.

Daan V.November 22, 2025

It's nice that the kraft label is made without chlorine bleaching. A healthy, eco-friendly approach. My cat liked the chew sticks.

Fernpaw reply

Hello. Thank you for supporting our eco-friendly initiatives. We wish your cat lots of enjoyable playtime.

A great alternative to catnip

We have a British shorthair named Marsik, he is 4 years old, and he has always been completely indifferent to catnip. We bought sprays and toys - zero reaction. I decided to try this matatabi, and the cat just went wild. He rolls this twig all over the floor, rubs his cheeks on it, then lies down and gently chews it. I give it strictly under supervision, as the manufacturer recommends, for about 15 minutes, then I put it away. One stick lasts a long time, and there are a full 10 pieces in the set.

Fernpaw reply

Hello. We're glad Marsik enjoyed the matatabi. You're doing everything right - occasional use keeps your pet's interest in the toy high.

Laura H.November 21, 2025
Healthy entertainment

I spent a long time looking for a natural accessory for my cat, who likes chewing wires. These Japanese sticks have been a real lifesaver. I give them under supervision, and the cat shifts all her attention to them. I appreciate the brand's honest approach: this is a treat for play, not a medical product, but the mechanical tooth cleaning really does work. The packaging is easy to recycle.

Fernpaw reply

Good afternoon. It's great that the sticks helped redirect your cat's attention to safe chewing.

Lars O.November 21, 2025

thank you for the eco-friendly packaging and quality product.

Fernpaw reply

Hello. Thank you for choosing the Fernpaw brand and supporting our values.

Laura H.November 20, 2025
Easy to hold with paws

My Abyssinian cat Leia is terribly picky. But these Fernpaw sticks were a big hit. I especially appreciate that the brand cares about logistics and uses European facilities for packaging, reducing transport distance. The matatabi itself is an excellent thickness, easy for the cat to hold with her paws. The play process is very funny, she literally hugs the twig. The main thing is not to leave it out permanently, so the novelty effect remains for next time.

Fernpaw reply

Good afternoon. Thank you for the high rating of our logistics solutions and the quality of the product itself. We hope Leia enjoys her playtime.

Christian F.November 20, 2025

My adult cat is five years old, and she rarely plays. But these chew sticks woke the kitten in her. A great set of 10 sticks, enough for several months of occasional play.

Michal N.November 20, 2025

excellent sticks without any chemicals or preservatives pure wood for chewing

Fernpaw reply

I liked that there are no hidden fillers. Just natural wood from Japan. I give it to my cat under supervision for about 10 minutes, then put it away. His interest has lasted for the second week already.

Fernpaw reply

Fernpaw reply

Eco-friendly and good for teeth

For my seven-year-old Maine Coon, Archie, this is now his favorite evening entertainment. A huge extra plus to the Fernpaw brand for their eco-conscious approach: a chlorine-free craft label, transparent ingredients, and packaging that can be recycled in the EU. The sticks themselves are dense and don't crumble to dust at the first bite, which is great for maintaining oral hygiene.

Fernpaw reply

Hello. Thank you for your detailed feedback. We are proud to produce safe accessories with respect for the environment.

Giulia B.November 17, 2025

Cool sticks. At first, the cat just sniffed it, then started rubbing her cheeks on it, and now she's actively chewing it. It's great that the ingredients are honest and chemical-free.

Fernpaw reply

Good afternoon. We are glad your cat appreciated the matatabi. We use only 100% natural raw materials with no hidden additives.

Thomas K.November 16, 2025
A lifesaver for an indifferent cat

We have a British Shorthair who absolutely doesn't react to catnip. I thought he was just not playful. I tried these silvervine sticks, and it's like he's a different cat! He rolls the stick all over the rug, rubs his face on it, and chews it enthusiastically. I give it to him strictly under supervision for about 15 minutes, then hide it so he doesn't lose interest. I'm so glad we found this alternative.

Fernpaw reply

Hello. We are glad that matatabi helped your pet discover new play sensations. Thank you for choosing Fernpaw.

Matthias V.November 16, 2025

I like the transparency of the Fernpaw brand. The percentage composition is honestly stated, and packaging suitable for recycling in EU sorting centers is used. The sticks work, the cats are busy doing their thing.

Fernpaw reply

Hello. Thank you for your trust in the brand and your high rating of our work.

Thomas K.November 15, 2025

Our British Shorthair, Archie, absolutely loves these sticks. He chews them with pleasure, his teeth get cleaned, and the rug stays intact. We are already buying our second pack!

Fernpaw reply

Hello. We are glad to hear that Archie enjoyed the product. Wish you fun games and we are always waiting for you again.

Julia S.November 15, 2025

I give it to my older cat once a week. She is 12 years old, her teeth aren't what they used to be, but she chews the sticks carefully. Completely satisfied.

Fernpaw reply

Hello. Thank you for your review. It's great that the sticks are suitable for your senior cat.

Michael B.November 15, 2025

I order these for my two Sphynx cats. They are indifferent to regular catnip, but they loved the matatabi. They roll them on the floor and chew on them.

Fernpaw reply

Hello. Thank you for your feedback. We are glad the pets found a favorite activity.

Sarah W.November 15, 2025

Great product! Our Maine Coon, Leva, immediately carried the stick off to his house and chews it there in the evenings. No gum problems, and it smells nice.

Fernpaw reply

Hello. Thank you for your choice. It's great that the sticks help satisfy the instincts of a large cat.

Stefan M.November 14, 2025
A lifesaver for the furniture

Our British Shorthair, Tisha, started sharpening his claws on the sofa. We gave him a stick, and he completely switched to it. He bites it, licks it, rolls it, and forgot all about the furniture. I will definitely order more, the effect is super.

Fernpaw reply

Hello. Thank you for sharing your experience. It's great that you managed to save your upholstered furniture.

Laura H.November 14, 2025

The sticks are great, our Sima is thrilled. The only thing is that they run out pretty quickly if you leave them out for a long time. I put them away after playtime.

Fernpaw reply

Hello. Thank you for your review. Under supervision, the sticks really do last longer.

Andreas P.November 14, 2025

Bought this for my regular domestic cat, Barsik. He's usually indifferent to treats, but here he started rubbing against the stick and purring. The thing works like a charm.

Fernpaw reply

Hello. Thank you for your review. We are glad the product got such a great response from your pet.

Sabine L.November 13, 2025

I have three cats, gave everyone a stick each. They were lying there quietly, and then a play marathon began. A good alternative to toys.

Fernpaw reply

Hello. Thank you for your choice. It's great that there was enough entertainment for all the pets at the same time.

Christian F.November 13, 2025

Got these to clean our Abyssinian's teeth. He chews them with a crunch, and the plaque comes off noticeably. My wife is also thrilled with the result.

Fernpaw reply

Hello. Thank you for your detailed comment. We are very glad you noticed a positive effect for the oral cavity.

Katharina R.November 13, 2025

My well-mannered cat always ignored any treats. He stole this stick right out of the package and chewed on it for two hours. His behavior changed.

Fernpaw reply

Hello. Thank you for the interesting story. We are glad we could surprise your pet.

Markus T.November 12, 2025
Simply works

I heard a lot about silvervine, but didn't believe it would replace catnip for my phlegmatic dog... I mean, my cat, Marcel. I gave him a stick before bed. At first he sniffed it, then started chewing quietly, and then he rolled around on the floor. Half an hour later, he fell asleep. Perfect for nighttime peace.

Fernpaw reply

Hello. Thank you for your review. It's great that the sticks help establish a calm routine for your pet.

Andrea N.November 12, 2025

A great purchase for our cat. She chews it with pleasure, and her teeth have become cleaner. I'm buying it for the second time and will continue to do so.

Short and clear: the cat is happy, the sticks really work. I give him one a day under supervision, he eats the whole thing without a trace.

I didn't expect such an effect myself. My Musya runs around the apartment like crazy with the stick, and then sleeps. I highly recommend it to everyone.

Fernpaw reply

Hello. Thank you for the recommendation. We are glad your cat liked the stick so much.

Our wild huntress Mirabel is absolutely thrilled with these sticks. Usually toys bore her after an hour, but she hides these and chews them every day. There are no bad smells in the apartment, the cat is well-fed and happy, and the furniture is intact. This is just a lifesaver for those with hyperactive pets.

I order these by the pack. My two cats fight over them, so I hand them out strictly one at a time. It works flawlessly, both are in heaven.

Fernpaw reply

Hello. Thank you for your comment. It's wonderful that the product is in such high demand by both pets.

Our Maine Coon chewer — Boss. The sticks are perfect for his jaws. The quality is excellent, the sticks don't splinter into shards.

Hello. Thank you for your review. We are very glad the sticks can withstand strong teeth.

Our secret to peace

We got the sticks for our aging cat, Vaska. As he got older, he became cranky and stopped playing. We gave him a stick, he sniffed it, licked it, and started rubbing against it. The cat seems to have grown younger, running around in the evenings. His gums stopped bleeding when he eats, which is very important to us. I will definitely keep buying this, a natural remedy.

The sticks work 100%. I leave one for my cat before leaving for work. I come back, the stick is chewed up, and the cat is asleep.

Hello. Thank you for your feedback. It's great that the product helps your pet pass the time in your absence.

Our British Shorthair, Klepa, usually doesn't eat anything but cat food, but here she chewed up half a stick. I recommend trying it even for picky eaters.

Fernpaw reply

Hello. Thank you for your review. We are glad that matatabi interested even such a picky cat.

For our 4-year-old British Shorthair, Musya, the stick has become her evening toy. She chews it calmly, and then I put it away.

Fernpaw reply

Hello. Thank you for your review. We are glad the sticks suited Musya for a calm play session.
