Description

Fernpaw Matatabi Sticks are a natural way to add new play stimulation to your cat. Silvervine is often interested in animals that are cool with regular catnip. The cat can roll the twig, rub against it and gently gnaw, and the chewing process itself maintains household oral hygiene. It is recommended that the sticks be given out under supervision and removed after the play session. This is a natural treat accessory for play, and not a veterinary drug. Sustainability without loud words: we use packaging made of monomaterial, suitable for recycling in the EU, we work with European production for the sake of a short transport distance, and we indicate the composition honestly - with percentages and without hidden fillers.

The pack has enough sticks that I do not feel stingy handing one over. I rotate them and put them away after play, so each one lasts through several sessions.

Fernpaw reply

Good afternoon. Thank you for your review. Proper drying allows us to preserve the maximum beneficial properties of the wood.

Maria C.July 28, 2026

Drools and rolls it all over the floor, making for a very active and fun playtime.

Fernpaw reply

Good afternoon. It's great to hear that the toy brings so much joy and activity to your cat.

Marco R.July 27, 2026

Honest ingredients list, no hidden fillers, just wood.

Antoine L.July 26, 2026

We only play under my supervision. The sticks are sturdy and natural.

Nicolas R.July 25, 2026

They have a natural, pleasant woody scent. My British Shorthair didn't know what to make of it at first, but then bit into the bark and now we can't tear him away.

Felix W.July 24, 2026

My cat went straight for the woody smell and rubbed along the stick like it was a favorite blanket. I also appreciated that the packaging is simple to sort for recycling.

Fernpaw reply

Hello. Thank you for noticing our packaging. We strive to minimize our impact on the environment.

Thomas K.July 23, 2026
A lifesaver for indifferent cats

Our British Shorthair, Marcel, has always been completely indifferent to catnip. We bought different sprays and dried herbs, but zero reaction. I decided to try this silvervine from Fernpaw. The effect is amazing! The cat rolled the stick on the carpet for about twenty minutes, rubbed his cheeks against it, and chewed it vigorously. I'm very glad it's a completely natural thing without artificial flavorings, and the chewing process itself helps remove dental plaque.

Giulia B.July 22, 2026
Perfect for cleaning teeth

We regularly buy matatabi for our Sphynx. This breed often has gum problems, so mechanically cleaning their teeth by chewing on dense wood is a must for us. Fernpaw's sticks are the perfect size and comfortable for the cat to chew. Special thanks for the packaging: the mono-material is easy to recycle in our European town. No waste, just benefits for the pet's teeth and mood.

Thomas K.July 21, 2026
Finally found an alternative to catnip

Barsik, my British Shorthair, never cared for catnip or valerian, so I bought these with low expectations. The first stick got a completely different reaction: cheek rubbing, rolling on the rug, then proper chewing. I take it away after a short play session so it stays interesting.

Fernpaw reply

Good afternoon. Thank you for the detailed review. We are glad that matatabi interested your cat and became a great alternative.

Erik J.July 20, 2026

A toy without batteries or plastic. The cat just chews on natural wood. Very eco-friendly.

Fernpaw reply

Good afternoon. Thank you for choosing our natural product for your pet.

Lisa C.July 19, 2026

I used to buy matatabi from other brands, but these from Fernpaw are the best so far. The packaging contains straight sticks with no debris. My cat uses them like toothpicks after meals when I give them.

Fernpaw reply

Good afternoon. We are glad that the quality of our matatabi sticks fully met your expectations.

Andreas P.July 18, 2026

The cat rolled the stick all over the floor for half an hour, very active. Excellent playtime stimulation without any plastic parts or mechanisms.

Julien D.July 17, 2026

10 sticks will last a long time, I let him chew on one once a week.

Sarah W.July 16, 2026
Favorite supervised entertainment

Our Siamese loves silvervine, but I only give it when I can watch her. She bites, kicks, and throws the stick around, then I put it back in the cupboard so she does not gnaw loose bark unsupervised.

Julien D.July 15, 2026

Perfect stick size, it's very comfortable for an adult cat to hold them with their front paws while actively chewing on the floor.

Michael B.July 15, 2026
Eco-friendly approach to packaging

I was looking for eco-friendly toys for my Sphynx, Cleo. I absolutely hate single-use plastic. Fernpaw's approach to sustainable production won me over. The packaging is made of mono-material that can actually be recycled in the EU, and the label is made of unbleached kraft paper. The cat absolutely loves the sticks themselves and plays with them very emotionally, rolling them with her paws. A great example of how to make quality pet products without harming the environment.

Fernpaw reply

Hello. Thank you for appreciating our efforts in creating eco-friendly packaging. We are proud to offer a product that is safe for nature.

Lars O.July 14, 2026

If you put the stick away in time, the interest lasts for weeks. Great battery-free entertainment.

Fernpaw reply

Good afternoon. Exactly right, limiting playtime is the key to a long-lasting interest in matatabi.

Julia S.July 13, 2026
Helps clean teeth

Simba, my Maine Coon, will not tolerate a toothbrush. These sticks are not a miracle dental treatment, but chewing them gives his teeth some useful rubbing. I offer one a few times a week while I am nearby.

Katharina R.July 12, 2026

Tried them out because of the short, clear ingredients list. No dyes or preservatives. The cat carefully chews the edges of the stick, and her teeth look visually cleaner. I always make sure to hide it after playtime.

Fernpaw reply

Good afternoon. Thank you for your review. We always strive for honest ingredients without hidden additives.

Andreas P.July 11, 2026

The number of sticks feels fair for the price. My cat gnaws slowly, and I have not had sharp bits flying around.

Fernpaw reply

Hello. Thank you for the high rating. The 10-piece pack is designed for long-term use.

Giulia B.July 10, 2026

Fernpaw didn't disappoint. Good sticks, the cat rolls them all over the apartment.

Carlos M.July 9, 2026

A toy without any batteries, yet it's more interesting to him than a laser pointer.

Fernpaw reply

Hello. Nature often offers the best solutions for play. Thank you for your review.

Tobias G.July 8, 2026

What attracted me is that it's not a veterinary drug, but just a natural stick for playing. My cat rolls it with his paw and chews on the tips. I take it away as soon as he loses interest.

Sabine L.July 7, 2026
Finally interested in playing

I have an 8-year-old adult British Shorthair. Lately, she's become very lazy, battery-operated toys scare her, and she never liked catnip. These Japanese sticks were a real discovery. She rubs her face on them, gently nibbles the ends, and even runs after them on the carpet. I really like that the ingredients are just 100% matatabi with no hidden fillers. The main thing is to take it away in time, otherwise she'll drool all over the floor.

Fernpaw reply

Hello. Thank you for the detailed review. Indeed, silvervine often appeals to cats that are indifferent to classic catnip.

Chloe M.July 6, 2026

Fernpaw's quality is as top-notch as always. An excellent treat-accessory for everyday use.

Fernpaw reply

Hello. Thank you for your loyalty to our brand.

Bram K.July 5, 2026

My cat is thrilled with these matatabi sticks and chews them with huge enjoyment.

Fernpaw reply

Hello. We’re very happy that your cat liked our treat.

Anna K.July 4, 2026

I give it to my cat to play with for 10 minutes under supervision, then take it away. The interest doesn’t fade.

Delphine MoreauJuly 3, 2026

The Japanese raw material is very good, and my cat’s reaction is just incredible.

Fernpaw reply

Good afternoon. We’re glad the quality of the matatabi brought your cat so much excitement.

Marco R.July 3, 2026

We only let our cat play with it under close supervision, as recommended. A safe and fun activity for him.

Erik J.July 2, 2026

A natural accessory; my cat bats the stick all over the floor with her paws.

Fernpaw reply

Hello. Thank you for your purchase. Play stimulation is very beneficial for indoor cats.

Matthias V.July 1, 2026

Regular catnip gets zero reaction, but this really perked him up. He chews it very carefully. A great natural way to entertain an indoor cat in the evening.

Agnieszka W.June 30, 2026

The packaging has a kraft label with no bleaching agents — I respect this kind of eco-friendly approach to products.

Fernpaw reply

Good afternoon. Thank you for supporting our eco initiatives.

Pieter M.June 29, 2026

I liked that there are no loud claims on the packaging, everything is straight to the point. 10 natural sticks, and my cat keeps busy with them for half an hour. Great play stimulation for an apartment pet.

Fernpaw reply

Hello. We’re glad you appreciated our transparent approach to the product description and its quality.

Delphine MoreauJune 28, 2026

It says the country is Japan, so I thought the quality would be amazing. The sticks are kind of too thin; my cat bit one in half in two minutes.

Fernpaw reply

Hello. The thickness of natural matatabi sticks may vary slightly. If your pet chews through one quickly, we recommend replacing it with a new stick in good time for their safety.

Katharina R.June 27, 2026

I bought them for the cat, not the label, but the plain kraft tag and simple materials made a good impression. More importantly, she settled down and chewed for ages.

Fernpaw reply

Good afternoon. Thank you for noticing the details. Sustainability is one of our brand’s key priorities.

Stefan M.June 26, 2026
Convenient Format for Play

We tried the sticks with two adult cats. One mostly chews the end, the other rubs against it and purrs. I keep the open pack zipped shut and bring one out every few days.

Julia S.June 25, 2026
Great for Cleaning Teeth

I bought these because my cat gets plaque but refuses brushing. She chews the sticks willingly, which at least gives her teeth some friction. The packaging is easy to recycle, though I do have to sweep up little bits afterward.

Anna S.June 24, 2026

Supports oral hygiene, and the teeth have started looking better.

Fernpaw reply

Good afternoon. Thank you for your feedback. We’re glad you noticed a positive effect on the teeth.

Matthias V.June 23, 2026
Silvervine Saved Him from Boredom

Our Maine Coon Archie is already seven years old. Regular toys stopped attracting him long ago, but this Silvervine was a real discovery. We bought a pack of 10, and I give him one stick every two weeks. Archie rubs his chin on it for a long time, then lies down and methodically chews the ends. It’s really good that the manufacturer honestly lists the composition in percentages. This is now our favorite play enrichment for our lazy cat.

Fernpaw reply

Hello. We’re very happy that Archie appreciated our products. We wish him many long and engaging play sessions.

Sophie L.June 23, 2026

My cat is absolutely thrilled, even though he’s indifferent to any catnip. He rolls the stick around the whole house like a mouse.

Markus T.June 22, 2026

My cat didn’t understand what it was at first, but then he started rubbing his cheeks against the stick. Silvervine works more gently than valerian, with no aggression. Convenient packaging.

Sabine L.June 21, 2026

It bothers me that you can only give it under supervision. My cat chews actively and can sometimes choke on small pieces of bark. I have to sit nearby and watch the process, which takes time.

Fernpaw reply

Good afternoon. Supervising your pet while using any chew treats is a standard safety rule, since chewing intensity varies from animal to animal.

Michal N.June 20, 2026

The sticks are pretty sturdy and don’t immediately fall apart into dust. My cat chews them with great effort and interest.

Simone P.June 19, 2026

Catnip does nothing for my cat, but these got her rolling on the floor and drooling a little. The pack should last us through the cold months.

Simone P.June 18, 2026

No reaction to catnip, but this silvervine was a real hit. He chews it and drools.

Fernpaw reply

Hello. Silvervine really does often attract animals that are indifferent to regular catnip.

Delphine B.June 17, 2026
Perfect for Picky Cats

Anubis, my Sphynx, ignores most toys, so I was surprised he grabbed one of these. I like that there are no perfumed additives. I let him chew for a short while, then store the stick away.

Fernpaw reply

Good afternoon. It’s nice to hear that our natural accessory suited your sensitive pet.

Antoine L.June 16, 2026

Great pack of 10 pieces, lasts for several months.

Delphine B.June 15, 2026

A good alternative to catnip; ours didn’t react to it at all.

Sarah W.June 14, 2026

My cat starts by hugging the stick, then works on the ends with her teeth. I hide it after playtime; otherwise she gets bored with the smell.

Chloe M.June 14, 2026

I only give it to my cat under my supervision, as written in the instructions. He plays very actively, then the branch goes back into the drawer until next time.

Fernpaw reply

Good afternoon. Following the recommendations ensures your pet’s safety during active play.

Kerstin G.June 13, 2026

These are useful for my cat’s dental routine because she will actually chew them. I still supervise, but it is much less stressful than chasing her with a brush.

Fernpaw reply

Hello. Thank you for sharing your experience. Chewing the sticks is a great addition to basic oral care.

Anna K.June 12, 2026

My cat loves rubbing her face against this stick. As a natural treat-toy, it's simply superb, much better than plastic balls.

Kerstin G.June 11, 2026
Finally found a catnip alternative

Barsik, my Scottish Fold, has never reacted to catnip. With these sticks he rubbed his cheeks on one, rolled around, and then chewed it like a prize. I only leave it out for a short session and then put it away.

Fernpaw reply

Hello. We are glad that matatabi suited your pet better than classic catnip. You are doing everything right by putting the stick away after play — it preserves the novelty.

Michael B.June 10, 2026
Eco-friendly and the cat loves it

I liked the low-waste idea, but the cat was the real judge. He ignored battery toys lately and immediately started batting this stick around. I hide it after play, and one pack should last us quite a while.

Maria C.June 9, 2026

My adult cat plays with them like a kitten. The ingredients are just 100% matatabi, no chemicals.

Stefan M.June 8, 2026
Great eco-friendly packaging

The recyclable pouch and unbleached label matter to me, but I would not reorder if the cat ignored the contents. Luckily he took to the sticks right away and now chews one in the evenings.

Laura H.June 7, 2026
Big cat approves of the sticks

My Maine Coon is rough on toys, and these hold up better than I expected. He chews, drools, and rolls the stick around the room. I also like that it is just plain wood without added flavoring.

Fernpaw reply

Good afternoon. Thank you for sharing your experience. Chewing on natural sticks really helps maintain oral hygiene, even for such large breeds.

Anna S.June 6, 2026

Wonderful play stimulation for indoor cats. Lasts a long time.

Fernpaw reply

Hello. We are glad that matatabi helps your cat stay active.

Marie K.June 6, 2026

A useful treat-accessory. It mechanically cleans the surface of the teeth while the pet plays. The sticks aren't too thick, making it comfortable for an adult cat to hold in its paws.

Fernpaw reply

Hello. Thank you for the detailed description of your experience. We are glad the size of the sticks suited your cat.

Nina B.June 5, 2026

After a few chewing sessions, the teeth look a little cleaner near the edges. It is not brushing, but it helps more than I expected.

Fernpaw reply

Good afternoon. We are glad you noticed the positive effect on dental hygiene.

Nina B.June 4, 2026

I let my cat play with them only under supervision; the sticks are safe and natural.

Christian F.June 3, 2026

My cat is already 10 years old. It says it's for adult cats, but he just rubbed his cheek against it and fell asleep.

Fernpaw reply

Hello. As cats age, their receptors can become less sensitive to matatabi. This is a normal physiological reaction.

Christian F.June 2, 2026

I was looking specifically for matatabi without additives. The ingredients here are honest, with no hidden fillers. I give it to my cat once a week to add some variety to his routine, sitting next to him and watching him chew.

Fernpaw reply

Hello. Thank you for choosing our brand. Supervising their play is an important safety rule for your pet.

Tobias G.June 1, 2026

Simple product: Japanese sticks, minimal packaging, no synthetic smell. My cat enjoys them and I am comfortable letting him chew while I watch.

Fernpaw reply

Hello. We are pleased that you noticed our efforts to create eco-friendly packaging without chlorine bleaching.

Lars O.May 31, 2026

My cat loves to chew, and these sticks are a lifesaver. They do a great job cleaning soft plaque off his teeth.

L. PardoMay 30, 2026

The Fernpaw sticks are of excellent quality. No hidden fillers, just pure silvervine.

L. PardoMay 30, 2026
Excellent natural stimulation

My Siamese cat, Taya, is very active and constantly needs new stimuli. Battery-operated toys break quickly or she gets bored of them. But these natural matatabi sticks are a huge hit. I give her one in the evening. She drools over it, chews it, and tosses it around. After 15 minutes, I take the stick away, just as the instructions advise, so she doesn't lose interest. The toy is completely safe, the ingredients are transparent, and there are no hidden fillers. I will be ordering more.

Fernpaw reply

Good afternoon. It's great to hear that Taya appreciated our natural alternative to plastic toys. Thank you for choosing our brand.

Felix W.May 29, 2026
Great environmental enrichment

I'm a pet psychologist and I often recommend play enrichment for cats to my clients. I bought these sticks to try out with my Bengal. The quality is excellent, and the bark doesn't shed instantly. The cat rolls it around with his paws for a long time, then starts carefully gnawing on it. It really relieves stress. The fact that the product is positioned honestly, as a treat-accessory rather than a veterinary drug, is a very correct approach by Fernpaw.

Philipp V.May 28, 2026
Cats are thrilled

I bought them out of curiosity. One cat chews and drools, the other mostly rolls the stick around and rubs his face on it. I store them in the closet between sessions.

Michal N.May 27, 2026

The cat constantly rubs his face against this stick and purrs loudly.

Fernpaw reply

Hello. It's wonderful that the silvervine scent brings your pet so much joy.

Philipp V.May 26, 2026

Finally a toy without plastic, just a natural stick for safe chewing

Fernpaw reply

Hello. We are glad our natural accessory turned out to be a great find for you.

Pieter M.May 25, 2026

An excellent natural product from Japan. No loud claims on the packaging, just to the point. The cat enjoys the chewing process, and I appreciate the ingredients.

Matteo ContiMay 24, 2026

The raw material is from Japan, the quality is top-notch, and the sticks are straight and dry.

Fernpaw reply

Good afternoon. Thank you for your review. We strictly monitor the quality of our raw materials.

Andrea N.May 23, 2026

A good set of ten sticks. It says the raw material is from Japan. The cat chews carefully, but there's a lot of drool from pure joy, so it's better to give it to them on a washable floor.

Fernpaw reply

Good afternoon. Thank you for the practical tip for other customers. Matatabi can indeed cause increased salivation during play.

Matteo ContiMay 23, 2026

I give it to my cat when I need to distract her from my houseplants. It works perfectly. I'm also glad that the single-material packaging can be easily recycled.

Markus T.May 22, 2026

We’ve already used two sticks from the set. I noticed that chewing the dense wood really does mechanically clean the teeth. It’s an excellent natural accessory, though not a medical treatment.

Susanne D.May 21, 2026

Great packaging, everything went into recycling. the sticks are whole, the cat keeps rubbing his chin on them and purring.

Fernpaw reply

Good afternoon. Thank you for your review. It’s nice to hear that both the eco-friendly packaging and the sticks themselves were to your liking.

Laura H.May 20, 2026

An excellent chew treat. The set has 10 nice, even sticks. The cat is happy.

Fernpaw reply

Good afternoon. Thank you for the high rating. We wish your cat good health.

Andrea N.May 19, 2026

Honest packaging, the ingredients are listed with percentages. the sticks themselves have a subtle smell, but the cat goes crazy for them. he chews them and rubs his face on them. I put them away after playtime as stated in the instructions.

Fernpaw reply

Good afternoon. Thank you for your trust in the Fernpaw brand. Following the usage recommendations makes play safe and engaging.

Piotr K.May 18, 2026
Quality silvervine with no chemicals

I have an Abyssinian cattery. I’m always looking for safe, natural toys. This set from Fernpaw impressed me with its complete absence of artificial preservatives and flavorings. The sticks are even, clean, and dust-free. The cats play strictly under my supervision and do a great job scraping plaque off their teeth against the bark. The short transport route within Europe is genuinely great; the product is fresh.

Tim S.May 17, 2026
Natural stimulation for lazy cats

Liza has slowed down with age, and plastic toys do not interest her. A silvervine stick gets her moving in the evening: first cheek rubs, then biting. If I leave it out overnight, the effect is weaker, so I put it away.

Fernpaw reply

Hello. Thank you for sharing your experience. Indeed, so that matatabi does not lose its appeal, it is best to put the sticks away in a closed container after each play session.

Tim S.May 17, 2026

The perfect substitute for catnip. The cat rubs against the stick and purrs. I put it away after playtime.

Amandine B.May 16, 2026

Convenient pack size, a full 10 pieces. One stick lasts for several play sessions if you put it away in time. No dyes or preservatives.

Amandine B.May 15, 2026

I was looking for toys without batteries or plastic. These Fernpaw sticks are just great. The cat rolls them around on the laminate floor and gently gnaws on them. The chlorine-free kraft label is a nice bonus for the environment.

Timo J.May 14, 2026

Excellent chew sticks straight from Japan; the wood processing quality is top-notch.

Timo J.May 13, 2026

A very worthy alternative to catnip for pets who completely ignore it.

Sanne de J.May 12, 2026

Because the cat chews the wood, the surface of her teeth gets cleaned. Excellent plaque prevention in the form of play.

Fernpaw reply

Good afternoon. We’re glad you appreciated the benefits of chewing matatabi for your pet’s oral hygiene.

Petra C.May 11, 2026

The packaging is easy to sort, and the sticks themselves look clean and natural. My cat asks for one most evenings.

Fernpaw reply

Hello. Thank you for your review. Eco-friendliness and naturalness are our main principles.

Alejandro G.May 11, 2026

I give it for 10 minutes and then put it away, the effect is great every time.

Fernpaw reply

Hello. Thank you for your feedback. Regular short sessions work best.

Petra C.May 10, 2026

I only give it under supervision, as written in the instructions. The cat gnaws on it happily, then I take it away so the natural scent doesn’t become too familiar.

Fernpaw reply

Hello. You’re doing absolutely everything right. Thank you for following the usage recommendations.

Marie K.May 9, 2026

The recyclable packaging caught my eye first. The cat cared more about the smell and started chewing right away.

Frank B.May 8, 2026

Both of our adult cats reacted to the silvervine. They roll the sticks around the floor, so the pack will last because we do not leave them out permanently.

Camille T.May 7, 2026

Good pack size for occasional use. We are not going through them quickly because one stick survives several play sessions.

Frank B.May 6, 2026

The packaging is refreshingly simple and goes into our recycling without separating layers. The cat chews the sticks with real enthusiasm.

Fernpaw reply

Good afternoon. Thank you for your review. We pay great attention to eco-friendly packaging and sustainable production.

Delphine C.May 5, 2026

These sticks are excellent oral care prevention. Chewing helps mechanically scrape light plaque from the teeth. The cat sees it as a fun game, not boring cleaning.

Fernpaw reply

Good afternoon. It’s great that the tooth-cleaning process is playful and enjoyable for your cat.

Bram K.May 5, 2026

I finally found a treat-toy with no chemicals. The ingredients are completely clear. My cat likes the chewing process, and I like that it supports his oral hygiene.

Susanne D.May 4, 2026

A useful treat accessory. My cat had a little plaque on her canines, and after a month of occasional chewing on these sticks, her teeth became noticeably cleaner. There are 10 pcs in the set, and they are used economically.

Delphine C.May 3, 2026

Lovely eco story on the box. My cat looked at the stick once and went back to sleep. If it is marketed as irresistible it should be irresistible.

Ruben F.May 2, 2026

Chewing really helps with soft dental plaque; I checked with the vet.

Ruben F.May 1, 2026

My adult cat liked the first stick immediately. Since I only offer it for short sessions, the pack should last.

Fernpaw reply

Hello. We’re glad your cat liked it. The set really does last for quite a while when used properly.

Daan V.April 30, 2026

My cat ignores most toys, but he chews on the matatabi diligently. I noticed that the smell attracts him more than catnip. Chewing really helps clean the soft plaque off his fangs.

Fernpaw reply

Hello. Thank you for your observation. The mechanical friction from chewing the sticks really does help clean teeth.

Nicolas R.April 29, 2026

He doesn't like catnip, but the silvervine was a huge hit!

Eva van DijkApril 29, 2026

Great alternative to catnip. My cat doesn't react to it at all, but he absolutely loves the matatabi, chewing on it with huge pleasure.

Fernpaw reply

Hello. Thank you for choosing our accessories. We wish your cat fun and active play.

Carlos M.April 28, 2026
Simple and brilliant solution

No batteries, no plastic — just a matatabi stick, and it brings my cat more joy than expensive interactive toys. My teenage cat is currently teething, and chewing on these sticks saves our furniture. I only give them to him under strict supervision. I really respect the company for their honesty: they state right away that it's not a medical product, but simply a useful play accessory.

Fernpaw reply

Hello. Thank you for your high appreciation of our approach. We wish your cat a comfortable teething process and fun play.

Eva van DijkApril 27, 2026

A huge hit for play enrichment. The cat is indifferent to catnip, but absolutely loves these Japanese sticks.

Fernpaw reply

Good afternoon. It's wonderful that you found the right stimulation for your cat.

D. ChevalierApril 26, 2026

Honest ingredients, just matatabi. The cat constantly rubs against them.

Fernpaw reply

Hello. Thank you for choosing our product. We wish your cat many more joyful moments.

D. ChevalierApril 25, 2026

The sticks arrived straight and dry. My cat chews a little each day, and her teeth look tidier than before.

Fernpaw reply

Good afternoon. We are glad the product helps maintain your cat's oral hygiene in a playful way.

Alejandro G.April 24, 2026

The silvervine effect exceeded expectations. The cat has become more playful and active in the evenings.

Fernpaw reply

Hello. We are very glad that the treat has diversified your pet's leisure time.

Sanne de J.April 24, 2026

Very high-quality set from Fernpaw. The sticks are the optimal size for an adult cat. We play strictly under supervision, just as the manufacturer recommends. Everything is great.

Anke SommerApril 23, 2026

It's nice that the product has no artificial flavors. The cat perfectly senses the natural smell and reaches for the stick himself to play with it.

Sophie L.April 22, 2026
Eco-friendly and the cat loves it

I care a lot about the environment, so I chose the Fernpaw brand. They don't use loud greenwashing buzzwords, but they do real things: monomaterial recyclable in the EU, and a chlorine-free kraft label. As for the product itself — it's fantastic stimulation. My Siamese cat Lisa absolutely loves chewing on these Japanese sticks. It's important to remember to put them away after playtime to preserve the magical novelty effect.

Anke SommerApril 21, 2026

I liked the eco-friendly monomaterial packaging; you can immediately see the care for the EU environment. The cat appreciated the sticks too, rubbing her cheeks against them and purring.

Fernpaw reply

Good afternoon. Thank you for your purchase. We are glad you appreciated our efforts to create recyclable packaging.

Melanie EngelApril 20, 2026

No artificial dyes, just high-quality and completely natural wood.

Fernpaw reply

Hello. Thank you for trusting the Fernpaw brand.

Melanie EngelApril 19, 2026

Eco-friendly packaging is a plus. But the kraft label peeled off while I was carrying it in my backpack in the rain.

Fernpaw reply

Good afternoon. Thank you for your feedback. We use film-free labels for easy recycling, but we will take your comment about paper moisture resistance into account.

Oskar B.April 19, 2026

There are plenty in the bag for us. I give one at a time, and my cat spends more time rubbing her cheeks on it than chewing.

Fernpaw reply

Good afternoon. A set of 10 sticks usually lasts a long time if you put them away after play.

Camille T.April 18, 2026

The pouch is easy to recycle, which I appreciate. My cat’s opinion is simpler: she rubs against the sticks and refuses to leave them alone.

Fernpaw reply

Good afternoon. Thank you for your high rating. The eco-friendliness of the packaging and the quality of the contents are equally important to us.

Oskar B.April 17, 2026

It's great that the brand uses European production to reduce transport distances. The sticks themselves are high-quality, and my pet loved them.

Delphine P.April 16, 2026

Great chewing sticks, they clean plaque off the teeth perfectly.

Delphine P.April 15, 2026

Cleans teeth excellently, literally removes plaque mechanically when chewing the wood.

Camille V.April 15, 2026

A wonderful alternative to plastic battery-operated toys. This is pure nature; the cat finds a use for the stick herself and actively rolls it around the floor.

Camille V.April 14, 2026

My lazy adult cat chases this stick all over the apartment like a little kitten. Natural matatabi sticks turned out to be a powerful stimulant for play activity.

Fernpaw reply

Hello. It's so nice to hear that matatabi helped liven up your cat.

Simone F.April 13, 2026

I liked that there are no artificial preservatives in the ingredients. It's just a dried stick, but for some reason my cat is absolutely crazy about it; he licks and bites it.

Simone F.April 12, 2026

It's really cool that the brand works with European manufacturers. Fast delivery, fresh product. The cat chews on the tips of the sticks with huge appetite.

Tomasz W.April 11, 2026

The unbleached kraft label is a small detail, but I like that the brand thought about it.

Fernpaw reply

Good afternoon. Thank you for paying attention to the details of our eco-friendly packaging.

Tomasz W.April 10, 2026

My cat chews these happily, and his gums have not been irritated. I like having a plain natural option instead of scented toys.

Fernpaw reply

Hello. Thank you for your review. It's great to hear that the teeth cleaning process is comfortable for your cat.

Bram S.April 10, 2026

A great natural accessory that keeps my cat interested in playing without any batteries or squeakers. Quiet, calm, and the cat is busy. She chewed it, rubbed against it, and went to sleep.

Fernpaw reply

Good afternoon. Thank you for your review. Matatabi is great for naturally stimulating hunting and play instincts without unnecessary noise.

Bram S.April 9, 2026

You can feel the Japanese quality of the matatabi right away. The sticks are even, clean, and completely safe.

Sebastian V.April 8, 2026
Great Oral Hygiene

I bought the sticks to help with my cat’s soft plaque because brushing is a fight. She chews them willingly, so the routine finally happens. The pack size is enough for a couple of months here.

Sebastian V.April 7, 2026
Cleans My Maine Coon's Teeth

My four-year-old Maine Coon had started showing light plaque. He holds the stick with his paws and chews with his back teeth, which is exactly the kind of natural chewing I wanted. The simple ingredient list is a plus.

Fernpaw reply

Good afternoon. It’s great that our sticks help maintain your Maine Coon’s dental hygiene. Thank you for your review.

Camille G.April 6, 2026
My Sphynx Appreciated the Matatabi

My Sphynx doesn’t react to valerian or catnip at all, and I had already thought he just didn’t like that kind of thing in general. But Fernpaw matatabi sticks changed everything! He gently chews the end, rubs his chin against it, and relaxes. It’s really nice that there are no hidden fillers in the ingredients, just the natural wood itself.

Fernpaw reply

Hello. Silvervine contains several essential oils that are attractive to cats, so it often works where catnip does not.

Camille G.April 6, 2026

I hide it in a drawer after a play session so my pet doesn’t lose interest in the scent.

Fernpaw reply

Hello. You’re using an excellent tactic for keeping the toy feeling new.

Sarah BöhmApril 5, 2026

The ingredients are listed honestly with nothing hidden. the cat chews it happily, I recommend it to everyone

Sarah BöhmApril 4, 2026

No hidden fillers, just pure wood. I recommend buying it.

Marta C.April 3, 2026

A great alternative to annoying jingling stuffed toys. Peace and quiet in the house.

Marta C.April 2, 2026

The scent appealed to my cat right away. The eco-minded label is nice, but the main thing is that she actually uses the sticks.

Fernpaw reply

Good afternoon. Thank you for your trust. We try to make our products as safe as possible for both animals and the environment.

Nicolas ChevalierApril 2, 2026

We stopped liking regular catnip a long time ago, but silvervine really caught his interest. The cat plays wildly, then calms down. The main thing is to take the stick away in time after the session.

Fernpaw reply

Good afternoon. Thank you for your review. You are absolutely right, alternating periods of play and rest helps preserve the novelty effect.

Nicolas ChevalierApril 1, 2026

The pack is generous, but my cat chewed one stick once and then lost interest. I wish there had been a smaller trial option.

Fernpaw reply

Good afternoon. We understand your disappointment. You can put the used stick in a closed jar for a couple of weeks so your cat’s interest has time to return.

Iván C.March 31, 2026

The packaging is easy to recycle in the EU. my cat likes the sticks and rolls them around on the floor.

Fernpaw reply

Hello. Thank you for your review. We’re glad our mono-material packaging is convenient to dispose of.

Iván C.March 30, 2026

The sticks were clean, even, and easy for my cat to hold. For the price, the quantity feels reasonable.

S. IglesiasMarch 29, 2026

I hoped these would help with tooth cleaning. My cat does chew them, but they get soggy fast and leave bits on the carpet, so it is a messy solution for us.

Fernpaw reply

Hello. Softening of the wood during chewing is a natural process that helps keep the gums safe. We recommend giving the treat on easy-to-clean surfaces.

S. IglesiasMarch 29, 2026

Our Siamese has tartar and after weeks of chewing these it has not shifted at all. If a chew is sold for dental benefit it should do something visible.

Bram V.March 28, 2026

I like that the packaging is not overcomplicated and can be recycled. The chew sticks themselves were accepted immediately by my cat.

Bram V.March 27, 2026

A cool natural treat accessory, my cat happily chews it every day.

Guillaume V.March 26, 2026

Our vet told us to work on surface cleaning for the teeth. These give my cat something acceptable to chew, and I stay nearby while he does it.

Guillaume V.March 25, 2026

No artificial flavorings, it just smells like dry wood. The cat likes it.

Nuria VargasMarch 25, 2026

Graf rubbed on it and drooled all over the rug, which I then had to clean. Nobody mentions the drooling anywhere in the description.

Daan V.March 24, 2026

A good alternative to plastic mice and balls. Natural matatabi causes a storm of emotions in our Sphynx. The main thing is not to forget to put it away after playtime.

Nuria VargasMarch 23, 2026

Good-quality matatabi sticks. My cat chews them with obvious pleasure.

Marcel N.March 22, 2026

A good alternative to catnip, although the rule about putting it away after play is a bit annoying. I keep forgetting and the cat hides them under the sofa

Marcel N.March 21, 2026

My cat is fairly indifferent to catnip, but she’s crazy about silvervine. She chews a little every day. Her teeth have become noticeably whiter.

Anke T.March 21, 2026

Perfect play enrichment for adult indoor cats who often just get bored.

Fernpaw reply

Good afternoon. Thank you for your review. Stimulating natural instincts really helps enrich indoor cats' lives.

Anke T.March 20, 2026

Great play enrichment without batteries, lights, and all sorts of synthetic materials.

Fernpaw reply

Good afternoon. We are glad you appreciated our natural approach to pet entertainment.

Alessandro ContiMarch 19, 2026

Silvervine really works! The cat simply won't let go of this stick.

Alessandro ContiMarch 18, 2026
Great eco-friendly approach

The eco packaging was what made me choose this brand, but the sticks also work. My cat chews them happily; I just sweep up the small splinters afterward and store the stick away.

Fernpaw reply

Hello. Thank you for appreciating our eco-friendly approach and monomaterial packaging.

Charlotte F.March 18, 2026

A great way to add play stimulation for the cat. Ours is getting older, doesn't like to run around, but lying down and chewing on the Japanese stick is just perfect.

Charlotte F.March 17, 2026

There are exactly 10 sticks in the pack, all neat and roughly the same size. The cat immediately started chewing on it, although usually it just bats toys around with its paw. An extra plus for the monomaterial packaging, we dropped it in the recycling bin without any issues.

C. MarchandMarch 16, 2026
A great alternative to catnip

Max, my Scottish Fold, usually sniffs catnip toys and walks off. This was different: he rubbed his face on the stick, rolled with it, and then chewed for a while. I keep the sessions short and supervised.

Fernpaw reply

Hello. We are glad matatabi became a great alternative to catnip for your pet. Chew sticks really do help maintain dental cleanliness.

C. MarchandMarch 15, 2026

Rubs against this stick like crazy, a great toy.

Fernpaw reply

Good afternoon. It's great to hear our toy brought so much joy to your cat.

Lisa C.March 14, 2026

My kitty just loves rolling this stick on the floor and rubbing her cheeks against it. True play stimulation. The packaging is recyclable, which is also a plus.

Élodie F.March 14, 2026

I'm happy about the packaging, which can actually be recycled in the EU. The cat finds it tasty.

Fernpaw reply

Good afternoon. Thank you! We are constantly working to improve the eco-friendliness of our products.

Élodie F.March 13, 2026
Eco-friendly manufacturing approach

As someone who sorts waste carefully, I liked the plain recyclable pouch. The sticks were clean, smelled fresh, and kept my cat busy with chewing rather than just batting them away.

Torsten C.March 12, 2026

Our Maine Coon chewed the tip of the stick off in one session. The teeth really do get cleaned due to mechanical friction; the plaque is visibly reduced. The main thing is to hide it after playing, otherwise interest fades quickly.

Fernpaw reply

Hello. Thank you for sharing your experience. Chewing really does help maintain oral hygiene, but we remind you that the product does not replace veterinary care.

Torsten C.March 11, 2026

A pack of 10 sticks lasts a long time, very economical.

Fernpaw reply

Hello. Thank you for your purchase. We are glad you are happy with the pack size.

Claudia ReuterMarch 11, 2026

High-quality Japanese sticks, not overdried. The cat rubs his chin on them and purrs like a tractor. We'll be buying more.

Fernpaw reply

Hello. We are very glad you were pleased with the quality of our matatabi.

Claudia ReuterMarch 10, 2026

Clean, sturdy chew sticks. My cat took to the Japanese silvervine immediately.

Fernpaw reply

Hello. We are glad the quality of the sticks appealed to your pet.

Nina T.March 9, 2026

The Japanese sticks turned out to be better than local alternatives. The cat bats them around with her paw and gently chews the bark. It's good that there are no artificial flavorings, just the natural scent of silvervine.

Fernpaw reply

Good afternoon. Thank you for your review. The natural origin of the raw materials is a key factor in why matatabi is so attractive to cats.

Nina T.March 8, 2026

Perfectly cleans plaque off the fangs. A natural way to clean teeth.

Sophie B.March 7, 2026

Honest ingredients, 100% matatabi with no fillers. But the scent is very weak, so it feels like that's why the cat barely pays any attention to it.

Fernpaw reply

Good afternoon. Natural matatabi doesn't have a strong scent to humans, but animals can smell it. If the cat doesn't react, it might be among the percentage of animals that are insensitive to this plant.

Sophie B.March 7, 2026

Natural ingredients without any chemicals, the cat chews on it happily.

Fernpaw reply

Hello. Natural ingredients are our main priority. Thank you for choosing Fernpaw.

Fabien G.March 6, 2026

The simple kraft label is a nice touch. More importantly, my cat chews the sticks without hesitation.

Fabien G.March 5, 2026
A lifesaver for chewed wires

My Siamese cat loves to chew on everything in sight, so these matatabi sticks became a lifesaver for my wires. I give them strictly under supervision, as soon as I see she's looking for something to chew. The stick massages her gums well and cleans her teeth of soft plaque. The set has 10 pieces, so this supply will last us for several months of active use.

Fernpaw reply

Hello. Offering a pet a safe alternative is a great solution. Chewing on sticks really does redirect cats' attention away from household items.

Sara P.March 4, 2026

The pack count was correct, and the sticks looked clean. My cat, who ignores catnip, actually enjoyed these.

Fernpaw reply

Hello. We are glad silvervine was a good alternative for your pet.

Sara P.March 4, 2026

Good-sized Japanese sticks, comfortable for an adult cat to chew on.

Florian F.March 3, 2026

I noticed that chewing on these sticks really helps remove light plaque from teeth. The cat gently gnaws on the edges, and her gums aren't harmed at all in the process.

Florian F.March 2, 2026

I bought them as a natural trial toy. Because I only offer one now and then, the pack will last, and my cat still gets excited when I take it out.

Dennis BeckerMarch 1, 2026

My cat really took to the silvervine; he never cared for catnip at all.

Dennis BeckerMarch 1, 2026

Much more effective than regular catnip. My cat stays interested in active play for a long time.

Fernpaw reply

Good afternoon. Silvervine really does often attract even cats that are indifferent to catnip.

Aurélie C.February 28, 2026

Catnip does nothing for my cat, but silvervine is just great.

Fernpaw reply

Good afternoon. Thank you for your purchase. Matatabi often works where catnip is powerless.

Aurélie C.February 27, 2026

I’m glad the ingredients are honest, with no hidden fillers. My cat immediately appreciated the natural scent of Japanese matatabi.

Fernpaw reply

Hello. Thank you for choosing Fernpaw. We guarantee the fully natural composition of our products.

Sabine HaasFebruary 26, 2026

It mechanically cleans plaque from the fangs, tested on our cat.

Fernpaw reply

Good afternoon. Thank you for confirming the effectiveness of the sticks for cleaning teeth.

Sabine HaasFebruary 26, 2026

Good play enrichment for an adult indoor cat. She takes the stick in her teeth and tosses it around. After a chewing session, I simply put it away in the cupboard. 10 pieces is a great supply.

Fernpaw reply

Good afternoon. Thank you for your review. You’re doing the right thing by putting the sticks away after play to keep your cat interested in them.

Nora T.February 25, 2026

Everyday oral hygiene works; the little teeth have become whiter.

Fernpaw reply

Good afternoon. We’re glad you noticed a positive effect on dental hygiene.

Nora T.February 24, 2026

Fernpaw sticks are a good size, not too thin. I give one to my cat once every three days under supervision, just as the instructions say. There is definitely a lot of drool, but the teeth are clean.

Álvaro V.February 23, 2026

A real lifesaver against boredom for an indoor pet. I give it to my cat while I’m working, and she keeps busy chewing and rolling the stick around on the carpet.

Álvaro V.February 23, 2026
Safe Chewing for a Maine Coon

I spent a long time looking for something my Maine Coon could chew. He chews through plastic toys and swallows them, which is dangerous. These natural matatabi sticks have been a lifesaver. They are 100% wood with no artificial flavorings, so I don’t worry. My cat carefully chews the end of the stick, no splinters fly off, though I still keep an eye on the process. The set of 10 will definitely last about three months.

Fernpaw reply

Good afternoon. Thank you for trusting the Fernpaw brand. Pet safety is our priority, which is why we use only natural sticks with no artificial additives.

Viktor S.February 22, 2026

The cat rubs her whole face against it, very funny to watch.

Fernpaw reply

Good afternoon. We’re glad the toy brings positive emotions to both you and your pet.

Viktor S.February 21, 2026

Cool thing, the label is unbleached kraft paper and looks stylish. the cat smelled it right away through the sealed pack, and now it’s his favorite treat-toy.

Patrick HartmannFebruary 20, 2026
Healthy Teeth and Play

My Persian cat is already five years old, and the vet advised adding mechanical cleaning with toys to help prevent plaque. These Fernpaw sticks were a perfect fit. My cat doesn’t just play with them, she deliberately chews them with her back teeth. I really like the brand’s transparency: no hidden fillers in the ingredients, only 100% silvervine.

Piotr K.February 20, 2026

I chose these because there are no added flavors. My cat chews them regularly, and the tooth surface looks a bit better.

Patrick HartmannFebruary 19, 2026

There are no hidden fillers inside, only high-quality whole sticks from Japan.

Florian T.February 18, 2026

A real branch from japan smells like wood. the cat chewed up half of one in one go

Fernpaw reply

Good afternoon. We recommend taking the stick away after 15-20 minutes of play so it lasts longer.

Florian T.February 18, 2026

This got my sleepy cat moving for a short evening burst. After about a quarter hour I put the stick away so it stays interesting next time.

Yvonne HoffmannFebruary 17, 2026

Just right for adult cats, mine chews them every evening.

Fernpaw reply

Good afternoon. It’s great that chewing the sticks has become a pleasant routine for your cat.

Yvonne HoffmannFebruary 16, 2026

Natural wood without any treatments, my cat rubs her cheeks against it for hours on end.

Fernpaw reply

Hello. We’re glad to hear that the natural aroma of matatabi has captivated your pet so much.

Sandrine T.February 15, 2026
Natural and Safe Toy

I wanted something simple and safe for supervised play. My cat rubs her cheeks on the stick and then nibbles the bark. I also like that the product is not full of plastic parts or perfume.

Fernpaw reply

Good afternoon. Thank you for your detailed review. We try to minimize our transport footprint and offer the most transparent product possible.

Sandrine T.February 15, 2026

I really respect brands that list the ingredients honestly, with no hidden fillers or artificial flavorings. There are 10 neat sticks in the pack, and the cat is thrilled.

Delphine R.February 14, 2026

Excellent natural accessory. The cat is busy doing something, chewing the stick instead of my cables.

Fernpaw reply

Hello. We’re glad the sticks helped redirect your cat’s attention to safe chewing.

Delphine R.February 13, 2026

The count in the package was right. My cat mostly rolls the twig around the carpet and comes back to chew it later.

Fernpaw reply

Good afternoon. We’re glad your cat appreciated our play stimulation.

YvonneFebruary 12, 2026

The pack lasts us for months because we rotate the sticks. Chewing them does seem to help keep the teeth cleaner.

Fernpaw reply

Hello. Thank you for your purchase. We’re glad the package format turned out to be convenient for you.

YvonneFebruary 12, 2026

My cat is pretty indifferent to catnip, but she appreciated silvervine right away. She chews very carefully. A great alternative for pets that regular catnip doesn’t affect.

Fernpaw reply

Hello. Silvervine really does often attract cats that are indifferent to catnip. We’re glad it worked for you.

Camille C.February 11, 2026

Regular catnip doesn't interest my cat at all. But this silvervine brought pure joy; he plays like a little kitten.

Camille C.February 10, 2026

My cat used to go after cords, so I tried redirecting her to these twigs. She now spends her chewing mood on the stick instead, which is a relief.

Fernpaw reply

Good afternoon. We are glad our natural accessory helped redirect your cat's chewing instinct into a safe direction.

Léa D.February 10, 2026

I support brands with a short supply chain in Europe. The sticks themselves are high quality, with no mold or chemical smell. My cat plays with them carefully, mostly just hugging them with his paws.

Léa D.February 9, 2026

It's funny watching her roll it around on the floor with her front paws—great physical activity.

Sabine V.February 8, 2026

Excellent natural treat accessory from Japan. Top-notch quality.

Fernpaw reply

Hello. Thank you for rating our product's quality so highly.

Sabine V.February 7, 2026

I always put the twig in an airtight jar after a play session. Because of this, even after a month, my cat reacts to the matatabi just as wildly as on the first day.

Fernpaw reply

Good afternoon. This is the perfect way to extend the lifespan of the sticks and keep your cat interested.

Davide G.February 7, 2026

I hand him a stick for a short play window and then close it away in a cabinet. Leaving it out all day makes it boring, so this pack should last.

Davide G.February 6, 2026

She drools over the stick incredibly! The main thing is to take it away in time after a play session so the stick can dry out until next time.

Fernpaw reply

Good afternoon. Great tip for other customers. Air-drying the twigs helps preserve their properties longer.

Holger W.February 5, 2026

The cat chews the stick and cleans his teeth. Much easier than using a toothbrush.

Fernpaw reply

Good afternoon. We're glad our accessory made dental care easier for your pet.

Holger W.February 5, 2026

A wonderful alternative to catnip! Silvervine works flawlessly on our picky eater who used to ignore all cat herbs completely.

Alberto F.February 4, 2026

My cat is absolutely indifferent to regular catnip, but this silvervine was a huge hit. He rubs against it so much he purrs loud enough for the whole room to hear.

Fernpaw reply

Good afternoon. The effect of silvervine often exceeds the reaction to regular catnip.

Alberto F.February 3, 2026

The cat chews off the bark, which provides a mechanical cleaning of the teeth surfaces. An excellent natural treat; we don't need any chemical additives.

Patricia L.February 3, 2026

Matatabi worked much better than regular catnip, the cat is thrilled!

Patricia L.February 2, 2026
Helps with dental tartar

I appreciate that the ingredient list is plain and the packaging is not wasteful. My cat chews carefully, which is what I wanted.

Lukas N.February 1, 2026

My cat is already 8 years old and rarely plays. These Fernpaw chew sticks managed to spark his interest. He sniffs them, rubs his chin on them, and chews a little.

Fernpaw reply

Good afternoon. It's so nice to hear that the twigs helped bring back an interest in playing for your adult cat.

Lukas N.January 31, 2026

Loved the chlorine-free kraft label. The cat really liked the sticks too.

Fernpaw reply

Good afternoon. Thank you for paying attention to our eco-friendly packaging standards.

Anouk J.January 31, 2026

A set of 10 is a great deal, the sticks are quite thick

Anouk J.January 30, 2026

Much better than any interactive battery-operated toys. This is pure instinct at work; the natural aroma does its job without any extra noise.

Charlotte B.January 29, 2026

After playtime I put the stick back in the bag. That small habit keeps the smell interesting and stops my cat from chewing unattended.

Fernpaw reply

Good afternoon. You are right, limiting playtime helps maintain the high attractiveness of matatabi for your cat.

Charlotte B.January 29, 2026

Chews carefully and maintains oral hygiene. The set has 10 pieces.

Fernpaw reply

Good afternoon. Thank you for your review. Chewing is beneficial for cats' dental health.

Maxime R.January 28, 2026

I put it away right after the session so she doesn't lose interest. Works like a charm.

Fernpaw reply

Hello. Thank you for your review. You are using exactly the right approach with these types of accessories.

Maxime R.January 27, 2026

These are best when I am sitting nearby. My cat gets very excited and bites hard, so I treat them like supervised play rather than a leave-out toy.

Nathalie DuboisJanuary 27, 2026

The set contains 10 pieces, all roughly the same thickness and length. This will easily last for a couple of months of regular play.

Fernpaw reply

Good afternoon. Thank you for your review. The packaging is designed to provide your pet with playtime stimulation for a long time.

Nathalie DuboisJanuary 26, 2026

Chews carefully, the fibers don't hurt the gums. I noticed less plaque on the canines thanks to this mechanical cleaning by the wood.

Javier F.January 25, 2026

I give it strictly under supervision; the cat actively chews and plays with it.

Javier F.January 25, 2026

A great replacement for plastic toys. No batteries or artificial fragrances, just natural matatabi. I give it to my cat for ten minutes a day so he does not lose interest.

Fernpaw reply

Hello. We also believe that natural toys without batteries are a great choice for cats.

Álvaro L.January 24, 2026

Convenient pack of 10. I give out one at a time for 15 minutes, then hide it back in the drawer. That way the matatabi does not lose its scent.

Álvaro L.January 23, 2026

10 pieces in the pack. Natural Japanese raw material. My adult cat appreciated it right away.

Fernpaw reply

Good afternoon. Thank you for your review. We are glad you appreciated the quality of our matatabi.

Laura M.January 22, 2026
Eco-friendly and good for the cat

There were enough sticks in the pouch, and the packaging was easy to sort. My cat liked the smell immediately.

Antoine BonnetJanuary 21, 2026

We finally found a toy that keeps our cat interested without any batteries or squeakers. Natural matatabi sticks keep the cat busy for about 20-30 minutes.

Antoine BonnetJanuary 21, 2026

Even our lazy adult cat plays with them like a little kitten.

Fernpaw reply

Good afternoon. Matatabi is excellent at stimulating activity and helping adult pets get moving.

A. DuboisJanuary 20, 2026

Simple, battery-free entertainment. My cat rolls the stick around, chews for a few minutes, and then naps.

A. DuboisJanuary 19, 2026

Real Japanese sticks, top-quality. My pet is thrilled with the new chewing treat.

Anja SeidelJanuary 19, 2026

It cleans the surface of the teeth well mechanically during chewing.

Jessica J.January 17, 2026
A great alternative to regular catnip

Barsik, our British shorthair, never cared for catnip, so I doubted silvervine would matter. He surprised me by rubbing his whole face on the stick and chewing it with real focus. I hide it afterward.

Jan J.January 16, 2026

Very cool that the packaging is made from mono-material, I put it in the blue recycling bin without any extra hassle. the cat appreciated the sticks

Jan J.January 15, 2026

The cat hilariously rolls the stick across the floor and rubs her whole little face against it.

Anja BöhmJanuary 15, 2026

My cat was indifferent to catnip, but she chews these matatabi sticks all the time.

Fernpaw reply

Hello. Excellent result! Matatabi is a wonderful replacement for regular catnip.

Anja BöhmJanuary 14, 2026
Eco-friendly and the cat likes it

I was looking specifically for natural toys without plastic or feathers for my Siamese cat. These matatabi sticks from Japan turned out to be ideal. The cat rolls them across the floor, rubs her cheeks on them, and chews actively. I was very pleased with Fernpaw's approach to sustainability: packaging that is easy to recycle in the EU and an honest ingredient list with no hidden additives. I give them strictly under supervision a couple of times a week, and her interest has not faded for a month now.

Fernpaw reply

Good afternoon. Thank you for the detailed feedback. Our goal is to create safe play enrichment, and we are glad your cat liked the sticks.

Guillaume B.January 13, 2026
Lasts a long time

There are a full 10 chewing sticks in the pack, which makes the purchase very worthwhile. I give my Maine Coon one stick every three days. First he sniffs it for a long time, then he starts drooling and actively chewing the wood. I noticed that his breath has become less sharp, apparently chewing really does work as a mechanical cleaning of the teeth from food residue.

Fernpaw reply

Good afternoon. We appreciate your review. Regular chewing of matatabi really does help keep teeth clean in a natural way.

Guillaume B.January 13, 2026

It is convenient that the ingredients are transparent, with no fillers of any kind. The cat rubs against it like crazy and mouths it in his teeth for a long time.

Fernpaw reply

Hello. Thank you for your review. We list the ingredients honestly so you can be confident in the product's safety.

SilkeJanuary 12, 2026

Good play stimulation without wild overstimulation. He chewed the stick, rolled it around on the floor, and calmly fell asleep.

Fernpaw reply

Hello. Thank you for your review. Matatabi provides exactly this healthy balance between activity and relaxation.

SilkeJanuary 11, 2026

The cat chews them with pleasure, but three very thin sticks turned up in the pack of 10.

P. ZielińskiJanuary 11, 2026

It is great that the manufacturer honestly lists the composition in percentages and works with European production facilities. The sticks are fresh, and the cat chews them with great appetite.

Fernpaw reply

Hello. Honesty and transparency in the composition are our priority when creating products for animals.

P. ZielińskiJanuary 10, 2026

The sticks are good, and the cat chews them eagerly. I like that this is not a medical product, just a natural toy. The sorting center accepted the packaging without any problems.

C. KrügerJanuary 9, 2026
Honest ingredients and a storm of emotions

I learned about silvervine from a veterinarian as an alternative to catnip. I spent a long time choosing an honest manufacturer and settled on Fernpaw. They were the only ones who clearly listed the composition with percentages, with no hidden fillers. My Bengal goes crazy for these sticks: she rolls around with them, tosses them, and chews actively. I give them strictly under supervision, since she can chew the stick into small splinters. Excellent play enrichment for active breeds.

Fernpaw reply

Hello. Thank you for choosing our products. Supervision during play is especially important for cats with strong jaws.

C. KrügerJanuary 9, 2026
A lifesaver for cats indifferent to catnip

Our British shorthair is seven years old, and he has completely ignored regular catnip his whole life. I read that silvervine often works differently. I gave him one Fernpaw stick to try, and the cat spent about twenty minutes rubbing his face against it and enthusiastically chewing the bark. I always put it away after play, just as the manufacturer recommends, so the scent does not become too familiar. Ten pieces will last us a long time, and the natural composition is excellent.

Britta S.January 8, 2026
High-quality twigs from Japan

The manufacturer is clear about what this is: a natural chew toy, not medicine. That honesty, plus the generous pack, made me comfortable buying it.

Fernpaw reply

Hello. Thank you for your trust. We carefully control the quality of our matatabi to ensure pets receive only safe and solid twigs.

Britta S.January 7, 2026

My cat will not let me brush her teeth, but she will chew these. I use them as a small part of dental care, always while watching her.

Fernpaw reply

Hello. Thank you for your purchase. We are glad you noticed the positive effect the chewing sticks have on your pet's oral hygiene.

Giulia L.January 7, 2026

The kraft label and simple pouch are good details for people who sort waste. The sticks themselves were clean and dry.

Fernpaw reply

Good afternoon. Thank you for your review. We indeed pay a lot of attention to the eco-friendliness of our packaging and production.

Giulia L.January 6, 2026

I like the no-bleach label choice. It feels consistent with a simple natural product, and my cat enjoys the sticks.

Claudia KuhnJanuary 6, 2026
Natural and safe

My cat chews the ends and carries the stick under the table. I have noticed less buildup on her teeth since adding these sessions.

Claudia KuhnJanuary 5, 2026

The unbleached label is not why the cat loves it, but I noticed and appreciated it. She just wants to chew.

Marco F.January 4, 2026

My British Shorthair is absolutely crazy about these wooden sticks. He chews them so hard that splinters fly everywhere, gotta keep an eye on him. But his teeth are white and breath is fresh, I recommend it.

Marco F.January 4, 2026

I'm glad there are no artificial dyes or flavorings, just pure wood.

Fernpaw reply

Hello. Naturalness is our main priority. Thank you for choosing Fernpaw.

Sergio S.January 3, 2026

The sticks last longer than I expected because I do not leave them lying around. One comes out, the cat plays, then it goes back away.

Sergio S.January 2, 2026

It's great that Fernpaw uses European facilities for packaging. Less transport footprint. The chew sticks themselves are high quality, the cat goes crazy for the matatabi.

Fernpaw reply

Good afternoon. Thank you for your review! We are glad the cat enjoyed the matatabi, and you appreciated our approach to logistics and packaging.

AurélieJanuary 2, 2026

We decided to try them because our cat doesn't care for catnip at all. But she grabbed this Japanese stick with her teeth right away and started chewing on it. Awesome effect!

AurélieJanuary 1, 2026

A wonderful natural toy. No dyes or flavorings, just a pure natural product.

Fernpaw reply

Good afternoon. Thank you for your review. Being natural is the main advantage of our sticks.

Ana P.January 1, 2026

Got these for teeth cleaning, since she won't let us use a toothbrush. Chews on these sticks for about ten minutes every day. It actually helps mechanically scrape off some plaque.

Fernpaw reply

Good afternoon. We are glad the sticks help maintain your cat's oral hygiene in a way that is comfortable for her.

Ana P.December 31, 2025

This is exactly a natural accessory, not some plastic junk. The cat plays on her own, tosses the stick around and catches it. 10 pieces will last a long time.

A. KowalczykDecember 30, 2025

The ingredients are honestly listed with percentages, nothing extra. The cat happily rolls the stick across the floor and hunts it from around the corner.

Fernpaw reply

Good afternoon. Play stimulation with matatabi perfectly satisfies cats' hunting instincts.

A. KowalczykDecember 30, 2025

I liked the brand's concept of a short transport footprint and honest ingredients. The Japanese matatabi is of excellent quality, the cat happily rubs against the twigs.

V. GrecoDecember 29, 2025

Ten pieces for this price is a great deal. Chewing really helps with oral hygiene, the bad breath became less pronounced. I always make sure to put them in the cabinet after playtime.

V. GrecoDecember 29, 2025

My cat rolls the stick across the room and then settles down to bite one end. It is messy in a natural-wood way, but she loves it.

Fernpaw reply

Good afternoon. Thank you for trusting our brand. We wish your pet fun playtimes.

Romain D.December 28, 2025
Sparks interest in playing

Our Bengal cat is very active, but quickly loses interest in plastic balls. These chew sticks were a real discovery. She doesn't just chew on the matatabi, she uses it like prey. It's great that this is a natural accessory, not some questionable chemical. The country of origin, Japan, inspires trust. The sticks are optimally sized, making it comfortable for the cat to hold them with her front paws. We will definitely order more when this pack of 10 runs out.

Romain D.December 27, 2025

The set is enough for our occasional play routine. I keep most of the sticks sealed so they stay fresh.

D. KuipersDecember 27, 2025

Excellent quality matatabi, the twigs are fresh and aromatic for the cat.

Fernpaw reply

Hello. We carefully monitor the quality of our raw materials. Thank you for your review.

D. KuipersDecember 26, 2025

Pure matatabi, didn't find any extra junk in the pack's ingredients.

Fernpaw reply

Hello. Honest ingredients without hidden additives is Fernpaw's core principle.

Marcin W.December 25, 2025

All natural, no flavourings. The kitten chewed for maybe a minute and lost interest. At this price per stick I expected it to hold him much longer.

Marcin W.December 25, 2025

Completely satisfied with the purchase. The ingredients are totally pure, without any artificial dyes or flavorings. The cat enjoys playing with them, and I have peace of mind about his health during such chewing sessions.

Fernpaw reply

Hello. We carefully monitor the quality of our raw materials so your pets receive only safe accessories.

B. BakkerDecember 24, 2025

Definitely supervise these. My cat gets intense with chewing, so I take the stick back once bark starts coming loose.

Fernpaw reply

Good afternoon. You are doing exactly the right thing by supervising the play process for your pet's safety.

B. BakkerDecember 24, 2025

An honest ingredient list with no hidden fillers is a huge plus. I know exactly that I’m giving my pet a 100% safe product.

Fernpaw reply

Hello. Ingredient transparency is our top priority. Thank you for your trust.

Valentina G.December 23, 2025

I hesitated for a long time because I’d bought catnip toys before and my cat ignored them. But these sticks worked! The eco-friendly packaging is a big plus too.

Fernpaw reply

Hello. We’re very glad our product was able to interest your pet. Thank you for choosing our brand.

Valentina G.December 23, 2025

I only give the sticks when I can watch. They are sturdy, but my cat is determined and I do not want him swallowing bark.

Nicolas T.December 22, 2025

Just right for lazy adult cats. my British Shorthair has finally started moving, tossing this stick around and chasing it down the hallway

Fernpaw reply

Good afternoon. It’s great that the toy helped get your pet moving. We wish him lots more activity.

Nicolas T.December 21, 2025

Catnip doesn’t interest us at all, but these matatabi sticks were a huge hit.

Fernpaw reply

Hello. That’s a common situation; matatabi really does have a different range of attractive essential oils.

Dennis G.December 21, 2025

No artificial colors or flavorings just a clean piece of wood that smells like nature. the cat likes chewing it after meals

Dennis G.December 20, 2025
A Useful Chew Toy

The mono-material pouch was easy to recycle here. The cat liked the sticks enough that the packaging was not the only reason to be pleased.

David R.December 20, 2025

Chews it with real pleasure, the main thing is to watch so she doesn’t choke on small pieces.

Fernpaw reply

Hello. That’s absolutely right, supervision during play is essential for safety.

David R.December 19, 2025

A completely natural product with no artificial colors or flavorings. The cat approved and chews the stick with his eyes closed from pleasure.

Fernpaw reply

Hello. Thank you for trusting the Fernpaw brand. We make it a principle not to use artificial additives.

Katarina R.December 19, 2025

Simple packaging, clean sticks, no dusty debris in the bag. That was enough for me to reorder.

Katarina R.December 18, 2025

I give them only under supervision, just as the manufacturer Fernpaw recommends. Everything is safe.

Lotte J.December 17, 2025

There are 10 whole pieces in the set, and that amount will definitely last us a couple of months.

Lotte J.December 17, 2025

An excellent natural accessory. I’m glad the brand works with European production facilities for a shorter transport route, even though the raw material itself is from Japan. The cat chews it happily.

Ralf KellerDecember 16, 2025

My cat ignores catnip, but silvervine was a huge hit. 10 pieces in the package is a great quantity. I give one at a time under supervision, as written in the instructions.

Ralf KellerDecember 16, 2025

My cat rubs his cheeks on the stick first, then lies beside it purring. It is a calmer reaction than with noisy toys.

DavideDecember 15, 2025

There are exactly 10 twigs of the same size in the set. The cat really liked chewing them.

Fernpaw reply

Good afternoon. Thank you for choosing our brand. We wish your cat enjoyable playtime.

DavideDecember 15, 2025

Played for about 10 minutes then I took it away and put it in a zip bag. works great

Fernpaw reply

Hello. Storing it in a sealed bag is a great way to preserve the matatabi aroma for future play sessions.

Christian C.December 14, 2025

No batteries and no noise, just perfect eco-friendly entertainment

Fernpaw reply

Hello. Thank you for your review! Quiet, natural play is often what cats enjoy most.

Christian C.December 13, 2025
Lasts a Long Time

The set of 10 pieces turned out to be very good value. My cat chews up the ends pretty quickly, but I just cut off the frayed part with pruning shears and can give it to him again. His reaction to matatabi is stronger than to regular catnip. Be sure to watch your pet during play, as stated in the instructions, so he doesn’t swallow large pieces of bark.

Fernpaw reply

Hello. Thank you for the useful tip with the pruning shears. We’re glad the set turned out to be good value for you.

Cristina F.December 13, 2025

Good value for the quantity. I give one occasionally, so the bag is going to sit with us for a while.

Cristina F.December 12, 2025

Play without batteries and noise! The perfect natural toy.

Sven N.December 12, 2025
A Good Alternative to Toys

I spent a long time looking for something natural to enrich the environment for my Bengal, Leo. He’s an active guy and is always chewing on something. These twigs have been our salvation. He chews them happily instead of the furniture. I’m pleased with the European approach to packaging production and the honest ingredient list on the label. 10 sticks for this price is a real find. I’ll definitely order more when this pack runs out.

Sven N.December 11, 2025

Great for mechanically cleaning the surface of the teeth. I’ll buy again.

Fernpaw reply

Hello. Thank you for your review; dental hygiene is very important.

Davide GrecoDecember 11, 2025

Our vet recommended something for chewing. This isn’t a medicine, but it’s excellent for everyday oral hygiene. It mechanically cleans the teeth while the cat has fun.

Davide GrecoDecember 10, 2025

Ten sticks, dry and straight, good enough. Two of my three cats ignored them completely. A product like this should work on every cat.

Sanne S.December 10, 2025

Five-plus for play enrichment, the cat is absolutely thrilled.

Fernpaw reply

Hello. Play enrichment makes cats happier. Thank you for your purchase!

Sanne S.December 9, 2025

Chews the stick every evening, the teeth look visually a bit cleaner near the gums.

Jonas H.December 9, 2025

I really like that the packaging is made of a single material and it's easy to drop off for recycling at our local center. The sticks themselves are dense, the cat happily chews on them, and the plaque on the fangs is gradually scraping off.

Jonas H.December 8, 2025

10 matatabi sticks — a great supply. The toy is safe and interesting.

Fernpaw reply

Good afternoon. Thank you for your purchase. May playtime always be safe and fun.

Silvia D.December 8, 2025

No artificial preservatives. They just smell like wood, the cat is thrilled.

Fernpaw reply

Good afternoon. Thank you for rating the naturalness of our product so highly.

Silvia D.December 7, 2025

I would not leave these out all day. Used under supervision, though, they are a great chewing distraction.

Cristina C.December 7, 2025
Evening ritual with Luna

Bought this for my Siamese cat as play enrichment. We now have a whole ritual: in the evening, I take a matatabi stick out of the pack, and Luna immediately starts purring. She loves holding it down with her front paws and biting it. It's great that the manufacturer honestly lists the ingredients without any hidden fillers. It's a battery-free toy, but it brings more joy than interactive mice.

Fernpaw reply

Good afternoon. It's lovely to hear about your evening ritual. Play enrichment is very important for indoor cats.

Cristina C.December 6, 2025

The cat loves to gently gnaw on the tips of these sticks. I'm glad it's just a natural accessory without any chemicals that supports oral hygiene naturally.

Simone L.December 6, 2025

Just sticks, but so much joy. The cat rubs her chin on them and chews them. I like that there are no artificial dyes in the ingredients, everything is as natural as possible.

Simone L.December 5, 2025

The instructions say to put it away after a play session. That's inconvenient, I want to leave the toy for the cat all day. If I don't put it away, he just gets used to it and loses interest.

Fernpaw reply

Hello. The recommendation to put the stick away is specifically to prevent habituation to the silvervine scent. Offering the toy periodically helps maintain the novelty effect.

M. CabreraDecember 4, 2025

The cat chews on the edges, it helps distract him from the wires

Fernpaw reply

Good afternoon. It's great that the sticks help safely redirect his chewing instinct.

M. CabreraDecember 4, 2025

The chlorine-free kraft label looks great. The cat loved the sticks.

Fernpaw reply

Hello. We are glad that our approach to design and production resonates with you.

Marieke L.December 3, 2025

For soft plaque, this has been a helpful addition. The cat enjoys chewing, so there is no battle involved.

Marieke L.December 3, 2025

Authentic sticks from Japan. The cat immediately caught the scent and started begging for the treat.

Fernpaw reply

Hello. Japanese matatabi has the brightest natural aroma that cats absolutely adore.

Céline V.December 2, 2025

The package had the promised number of sticks. They are clean and similar enough in size that none felt like filler.

Céline V.December 2, 2025

Monomaterial packaging is of course great for the environment, but my cat didn't appreciate the matatabi at all. She sniffed it and walked away.

Fernpaw reply

Good afternoon. Thank you for choosing an eco-friendly product. If the cat doesn't react to the scent, try moistening the tip of the stick with warm water to release it.

Nina W.December 2, 2025
A lifesaver for Maine Coon's teeth

I like the full pack and the natural feel. My cat rolls the stick around the rug, then chews one end while I watch.

Fernpaw reply

Hello. We are glad your cat liked it. Mechanical chewing really does help maintain oral hygiene.

Nina W.December 1, 2025

10 sticks in a set is a really good deal price-wise for two cats

Fernpaw reply

Hello. We are glad you appreciated the convenience and value of our packaging.

Tobias S.December 1, 2025

A chlorine-free kraft label is a big plus for an eco-friendly brand.

Tobias S.November 30, 2025

We used to buy catnip, but the cat lost interest in it. These Fernpaw chew sticks brought back his interest in playing; he runs around the apartment with the stick.

Fernpaw reply

Hello. It's nice to know that matatabi brought back your cat's interest in active play.

Federica MorettiNovember 30, 2025

I give it strictly under supervision. The cat chews on it actively, but no splinters break off. An excellent way to add new stimulation for a pet that doesn't go outside.

Fernpaw reply

Hello. Advocating for safe play, we recommend exactly this approach. Thank you for following the guidelines.

Federica MorettiNovember 29, 2025
Honest and eco-friendly brand

My Abyssinian, Leo, usually loses interest in any accessories quickly, but these sticks won him over. He plays with them for about 20 minutes, chewing and hugging them with his hind legs. Special thanks to Fernpaw for the monomaterial packaging that is easy to dispose of in the EU, and for the lack of loud marketing claims on the pack. Everything is honest and to the point, an excellent eco-friendly pet product.

Fernpaw reply

Good afternoon. Thank you for highly rating our approach to packaging and honest ingredients. May Leo play with pleasure.

Anja HartmannNovember 29, 2025

The pet loves to just rub his neck and chin against this stick. An excellent purchase.

Anja HartmannNovember 28, 2025

An excellent alternative to valerian and catnip, it works gently.

C. SerranoNovember 28, 2025

The cat completely ignores catnip, but this silvervine was a huge hit. She rubs her cheeks against the stick for twenty minutes at a time. It's convenient that the packaging is made of a single material, I just tossed it right into the plastic recycling bin.

C. SerranoNovember 27, 2025

Play enrichment works great! The cat doesn't just chew it, he hunts this little twig too. The main thing is not to forget to put it away after playtime.

Fernpaw reply

Good afternoon. Thank you for your review. Taking the toy away at the right time helps keep your cat interested in it for a long time.

Julien F.November 27, 2025

Good sticks, the length is just right for an adult cat. During play, the teeth get gently cleaned of soft plaque.

Fernpaw reply

Good afternoon. Thank you for your purchase. Mechanical tooth cleaning during chewing is one of the main benefits of this accessory.

Julien F.November 26, 2025

The recyclable pouch is practical, and the sticks smell fresh. My cat uses them often enough that I will reorder.

Fernpaw reply

Hello. Thank you for your review. Silvervine really is a great alternative for cats that don't respond to catnip.

Lotte S.November 26, 2025
Ragdoll is absolutely thrilled

He bats the stick under the sofa, drags it out, and rolls it around again. Not fancy, but it keeps him busy.

Lotte S.November 25, 2025

The set is good value for us because we rotate the sticks. My cat still reacts when I bring one out.

Pierre V.November 25, 2025

Short sessions work best here. I give the stick for a few minutes, put it away, and the reaction is strong again next time.

Pierre V.November 25, 2025

The 10-piece pack is very good value. One stick lasts us several active play sessions if we put it away in the cupboard on time.

Fernpaw reply

Good afternoon. Thank you for the recommendation. Giving the sticks in measured sessions is an excellent way to keep your pet interested.

Simone J.November 24, 2025

Cool natural accessory, doesn't become addictive if you put it away after playtime.

Fernpaw reply

Good afternoon. You're right, limiting the time keeps the animal interested.

Simone J.November 24, 2025

A good alternative to plastic toys. No batteries, just a piece of wood, but the cat is happy. I take it away after playtime so he doesn't chew it all the way down.

Fernpaw reply

Hello. Thank you for your review. You're doing the right thing by supervising playtime with the sticks.

Olivier G.November 23, 2025

The chlorine-free label was a nice eco detail. The sticks themselves worked well for chewing and play.

Fernpaw reply

Good afternoon. Thank you for noting our eco-friendly initiatives. We hope your kitty enjoys playing for a long time.

Olivier G.November 23, 2025

My fluffy little troublemaker rubs against this twig like crazy. It's a great way to give your pet new, safe play stimulation at home.

Bas B.November 22, 2025

I noticed the unbleached label and recyclable pouch before buying. The cat only cared that the sticks smelled interesting.

Fernpaw reply

Hello. Thank you for supporting our eco-friendly initiatives. We wish your cat lots of enjoyable playtime.

Bas B.November 22, 2025

Finally silvervine, not catnip! The cat is thrilled and plays every day.

Iván MolinaNovember 22, 2025
A great alternative to catnip

A single stick lasts several rounds because I store it after play. The pack is more than enough for casual use.

Fernpaw reply

Hello. We're glad Marsik enjoyed the matatabi. You're doing everything right - occasional use keeps your pet's interest in the toy high.

Iván MolinaNovember 21, 2025
Healthy entertainment

My cat used to chew wires, so I wanted a safer target. These sticks shifted her attention well, and I appreciate that the brand describes them honestly as play chews.

Fernpaw reply

Good afternoon. It's great that the sticks helped redirect your cat's attention to safe chewing.

Timo N.November 21, 2025

Thank you for the eco-friendly packaging and quality product.

Fernpaw reply

Hello. Thank you for choosing the Fernpaw brand and supporting our values.

Timo N.November 20, 2025
Easy to hold with paws

My Abyssinian cat Leia is terribly picky. But these Fernpaw sticks were a big hit. I especially appreciate that the brand cares about logistics and uses European facilities for packaging, reducing transport distance. The matatabi itself is an excellent thickness, easy for the cat to hold with her paws. The play process is very funny, she literally hugs the twig. The main thing is not to leave it out permanently, so the novelty effect remains for next time.

Fernpaw reply

Good afternoon. Thank you for the high rating of our logistics solutions and the quality of the product itself. We hope Leia enjoys her playtime.

BirgitNovember 20, 2025

My five-year-old cat rarely plays, but these brought out a kitten mood for a few minutes. The pack should last us a long time.

BirgitNovember 20, 2025

Excellent sticks without any chemicals or preservatives pure wood for chewing

Fernpaw reply

Hello. Thank you for your review. The absence of artificial additives is a conscious choice on our part.

S. KellerNovember 19, 2025

No hidden fillers, just the wood. I give it briefly under supervision, and my cat is still interested after two weeks.

S. KellerNovember 19, 2025

The cat gently chews the stick and doesn't swallow splinters. Absolutely safe entertainment for adult pets if you follow the rules and don't leave them alone.

Fernpaw reply

Good afternoon. Owner supervision makes the play process as safe and comfortable as possible.

Philipp P.November 18, 2025

Chewing helps clean the teeth, I noticed there is less bad breath. The main thing is to take the stick away on time so the cat doesn't lose interest.

Fernpaw reply

Hello. You're right, limiting playtime helps keep matatabi appealing for a long time.

Philipp P.November 18, 2025

The perfect game with no batteries. Just a natural twig, and so much joy.

A. KrügerNovember 18, 2025

Our cat is generally very lazy, but he's willing to jump for these sticks. First he chews off the bark, then I throw the stick away. 10 pieces is a good supply.

Fernpaw reply

Hello. Thank you for your review. We're glad our natural product was able to get your pet moving.

A. KrügerNovember 17, 2025

The count was correct and every twig in my bag looked whole and clean.

Hello. Thank you for your review, we strictly control the quality of our packaging.

N. PardoNovember 17, 2025
Eco-friendly and good for teeth

For my seven-year-old Maine Coon, Archie, this is now his favorite evening entertainment. A huge extra plus to the Fernpaw brand for their eco-conscious approach: a chlorine-free craft label, transparent ingredients, and packaging that can be recycled in the EU. The sticks themselves are dense and don't crumble to dust at the first bite, which is great for maintaining oral hygiene.

N. PardoNovember 17, 2025

Cool sticks. At first, the cat just sniffed it, then started rubbing her cheeks on it, and now she's actively chewing it. It's great that the ingredients are honest and chemical-free.

Fernpaw reply

Good afternoon. We are glad your cat appreciated the matatabi. We use only 100% natural raw materials with no hidden additives.

Bas S.November 16, 2025
A lifesaver for an indifferent cat

Our British Shorthair ignores catnip completely. With these silvervine sticks he rolls on the rug, rubs his cheeks, and chews with focus. I put the stick away after a short supervised session.

Fernpaw reply

Hello. We are glad that matatabi helped your pet discover new play sensations. Thank you for choosing Fernpaw.

Bas S.November 16, 2025

I like the transparency of the Fernpaw brand. The percentage composition is honestly stated, and packaging suitable for recycling in EU sorting centers is used. The sticks work, the cats are busy doing their thing.

Katharina B.November 15, 2025

Our British Shorthair, Archie, absolutely loves these sticks. He chews them with pleasure, his teeth get cleaned, and the rug stays intact. We are already buying our second pack!

Katharina B.November 15, 2025

I give it to my older cat once a week. She is 12 years old, her teeth aren't what they used to be, but she chews the sticks carefully. Completely satisfied.

Fernpaw reply

Hello. Thank you for your review. It's great that the sticks are suitable for your senior cat.

Patrick J.November 15, 2025

I order these for my two Sphynx cats. They are indifferent to regular catnip, but they loved the matatabi. They roll them on the floor and chew on them.

Fernpaw reply

Hello. Thank you for your feedback. We are glad the pets found a favorite activity.

Patrick J.November 15, 2025

Great product! Our Maine Coon, Leva, immediately carried the stick off to his house and chews it there in the evenings. No gum problems, and it smells nice.

M. FrankNovember 14, 2025
A lifesaver for the furniture

Our British Shorthair, Tisha, started sharpening his claws on the sofa. We gave him a stick, and he completely switched to it. He bites it, licks it, rolls it, and forgot all about the furniture. I will definitely order more, the effect is super.

M. FrankNovember 14, 2025

The sticks are great, our Sima is thrilled. The only thing is that they run out pretty quickly if you leave them out for a long time. I put them away after playtime.

Birgit R.November 14, 2025

Bought this for my regular domestic cat, Barsik. He's usually indifferent to treats, but here he started rubbing against the stick and purring. The thing works like a charm.

Birgit R.November 13, 2025

I have three cats, gave everyone a stick each. They were lying there quietly, and then a play marathon began. A good alternative to toys.

Fernpaw reply

Hello. Thank you for your choice. It's great that there was enough entertainment for all the pets at the same time.

Maxime D.November 13, 2025

Got these to clean our Abyssinian's teeth. He chews them with a crunch, and the plaque comes off noticeably. My wife is also thrilled with the result.

My well-mannered cat always ignored any treats. He stole this stick right out of the package and chewed on it for two hours. His behavior changed.

Simply works

I heard a lot about silvervine, but didn't believe it would replace catnip for my phlegmatic dog... I mean, my cat, Marcel. I gave him a stick before bed. At first he sniffed it, then started chewing quietly, and then he rolled around on the floor. Half an hour later, he fell asleep. Perfect for nighttime peace.

A great purchase for our cat. She chews it with pleasure, and her teeth have become cleaner. I'm buying it for the second time and will continue to do so.

Short and clear: the cat is happy, the sticks really work. I give him one a day under supervision, he eats the whole thing without a trace.

Hello. Thank you for your short and concise review. We wish your pet a great mood.

I didn't expect such an effect myself. My Musya runs around the apartment like crazy with the stick, and then sleeps. I highly recommend it to everyone.

Our wild huntress Mirabel is absolutely thrilled with these sticks. Usually toys bore her after an hour, but she hides these and chews them every day. There are no bad smells in the apartment, the cat is well-fed and happy, and the furniture is intact. This is just a lifesaver for those with hyperactive pets.

I order these by the pack. My two cats fight over them, so I hand them out strictly one at a time. It works flawlessly, both are in heaven.

Hello. Thank you for your comment. It's wonderful that the product is in such high demand by both pets.

Our Maine Coon chewer — Boss. The sticks are perfect for his jaws. The quality is excellent, the sticks don't splinter into shards.

Hello. Thank you for your review. We are very glad the sticks can withstand strong teeth.

Our secret to peace

We got the sticks for our aging cat, Vaska. As he got older, he became cranky and stopped playing. We gave him a stick, he sniffed it, licked it, and started rubbing against it. The cat seems to have grown younger, running around in the evenings. His gums stopped bleeding when he eats, which is very important to us. I will definitely keep buying this, a natural remedy.

The sticks work 100%. I leave one for my cat before leaving for work. I come back, the stick is chewed up, and the cat is asleep.

Our British Shorthair, Klepa, usually doesn't eat anything but cat food, but here she chewed up half a stick. I recommend trying it even for picky eaters.

For our 4-year-old British Shorthair, Musya, the stick has become her evening toy. She chews it calmly, and then I put it away.

Fernpaw reply

Hello. Thank you for your review. We are glad the sticks suited Musya for a calm play session.
