Description

Fernpaw Hard Yak Cheese is a dense treat for dogs that require long, gentle chewing. The traditional Himalayan format is prized for its simple recipe and discreet aroma in the home. While chewing, the treat helps keep your pet occupied and creates mechanical stress on the teeth. Due to its high hardness, the product should be given under supervision, especially to dogs with sensitive teeth. This is an additional food that complements the diet and does not replace a full diet. Sustainability without loud words: we use packaging made of monomaterial, suitable for recycling in the EU, we work with European production for the sake of a short transport distance, and we indicate the composition honestly - with percentages and without hidden fillers.

There is almost no smell, you can't smell the cheese fragrance in the apartment. For me, this sealed the purchase.

Andreas P.July 27, 2026

Bought it for long-lasting chewing. Recommend it, it's worth the money.

Lisa C.July 26, 2026
A lifesaver for puppy teeth

My Labrador is 9 months old, losing his teeth, and chews on everything. I gave him this stick, he took it to his mat and chewed on it for two days. It's highly durable, but his teeth handle it well. I noticed that this weekend he didn't touch my slippers at all. It's understood that the treat doesn't replace food, we use it purely as a reward to keep him calm.

Anna K.July 25, 2026

Would buy again. Unbleached packaging, nice paper.

Giulia B.July 24, 2026

I liked that it's not a soft one-bite treat. It kept my mutt busy for a long time.

Lisa C.July 23, 2026

The texture is very hard, I had to hold it in my hands for a bit to warm it up before giving it. The dog approved.

Fernpaw reply

Good afternoon. Thank you for your review. Slightly warming the cheese in your hands before serving is a great idea.

Susanne D.July 22, 2026

The size works for my medium dog. He can hold it properly, but it is not so large that he gives up.

Fernpaw reply

Good afternoon. Thank you for your feedback. Regardless of the treat size, it's important to monitor the dog so they don't try to swallow the remaining piece whole.

Sanne de J.July 21, 2026

The salty aftertaste is minimal to me, but my dog liked it more than sweet treats.

Anna K.July 20, 2026

Got this for an adult Shepherd, it crunches its teeth against it, but the piece lasts a long time.

Felix W.July 18, 2026

A good treat to distract the dog while I work. We're satisfied.

Fernpaw reply

Hello. Thank you for your review. We are glad the product helps keep your pet occupied.

Julia S.July 17, 2026

I liked that the smell is natural and not overpowering, the apartment smells fine afterwards.

Fernpaw reply

Good afternoon. Thank you for your feedback, a subtle scent is indeed important for indoor use. We are glad the product suited you and your pet.

Julia S.July 16, 2026
Long-lasting treat

My beagle usually chews through things in about three minutes, but this cheese kept him busy for almost two days in a few sessions. The texture is really dense, almost no crumbs, and the dog is absolutely thrilled. I will be ordering more.

Fernpaw reply

Good afternoon. Thank you for the detailed review. For dogs that quickly devour treats, this format is indeed a perfect fit.

Andreas P.July 15, 2026

The package opened neatly, the cheese inside was whole, without a single crumb. Great for an online order.

Fernpaw reply

Hello. Thank you for your review, we are glad the treat arrived whole and the packaging kept the product intact. We hope your next order is just as successful.

Antoine L.July 14, 2026

I use it strictly as a supplemental feed. The main thing is not to replace their regular meals with it, then everything is great.

Fernpaw reply

Good afternoon. Thank you for your purchase and understanding the feeding guidelines.

Marie K.July 13, 2026

My Cocker usually begs for a refill, but with this cheese, he stays busy with a single piece for a long time.

Fernpaw reply

Good afternoon. Thank you for your feedback. This dense cheese chew is great for dogs where the focus isn't on the quantity of treats, but rather the prolonged chewing process.

Michael B.July 12, 2026

Our terrier loves hard treats, this cheese didn't crumble right away.

Anna S.July 11, 2026

The ingredients are simple and clear, with no hidden fillers. Top quality.

Fernpaw reply

Hello. Thank you for trusting our product! We do not use empty fillers.

Susanne D.July 10, 2026

No chlorine bleaching on the packaging, eco-friendly. The cheese itself has a subtle scent and doesn't overpower the smell of the apartment.

Anna S.July 9, 2026

I liked that there are no preservatives, and the dog liked that he could chew on it for a long time.

Nicolas R.July 7, 2026

I bought it for drives to the country house. It did not stink up the bag, and it kept the dog busy during stops.

Fernpaw reply

Hello. Thank you for sharing your practical experience. We are glad the subtle scent and dense format were convenient for your trip.

Antoine L.July 6, 2026

Bought it for my dog. He eats it, but not right away, needs to get used to the smell. The consistency is really like a rock.

KevinJuly 5, 2026

My dog has sensitive teeth, so she chewed it slowly, but didn't break anything.

Fernpaw reply

Good afternoon. Thank you for your feedback. For sensitive teeth, you can give the treat in small portions or slightly soften it.

Tobias G.July 4, 2026

The dog loves chewing on it. I'm slightly concerned that the bar is a very light color, unusual for a yak chew.

KevinJuly 3, 2026

Got it purely to keep the dog busy during conference calls. It works flawlessly, the dog lies on the rug and chews on this cheese chew.

Fernpaw reply

Hello. Thank you for your review. A great solution for remote work.

Piotr K.July 2, 2026

I liked that it's a supplemental treat, I give it between meals without changing the diet.

Fernpaw reply

Hello. Thank you for the right approach. This product indeed supplements the diet and should not replace a complete meal.

Marie K.July 1, 2026

The dog eats it with pleasure and stays busy for a long time. I wish there were at least a simple zip lock inside for storage.

Fernpaw reply

Hello. Thank you for rating the treat. We have taken your comment about the zip lock into account and will pass this suggestion on to the packaging development department.

Chloe M.June 30, 2026

The lack of artificial flavorings is obvious. It smells just like cheese, without any chemical fragrances.

Bram K.June 29, 2026

Just yak and cow milk, lime juice, and salt. Everything is clean and clear. I’m getting more.

Fernpaw reply

Hello. Thank you for your trust! We strictly maintain the simplicity of the recipe.

Stefan M.June 28, 2026

It’s convenient that there’s one piece in the package: I open it, give it to the dog, and don’t have to pour anything into another container.

Fernpaw reply

Hello. Thank you for your review. The single-piece format is convenient for simple storage and use. We’re glad the purchase left a good impression.

Michael B.June 27, 2026
Great Activity for the Dog

I’ve been buying these cheeses for my beagle for the second month now. I give them strictly under supervision, because he likes to bite off whole chunks. He chews calmly for almost an hour, and it saves the furniture in the evenings. The ingredients are listed very honestly on the label, with no hidden components. I’m glad the production is nearby, which makes sense and is eco-friendly.

Fernpaw reply

Hello. Thank you for the detailed review. You are absolutely right: it is best to give treats like these under supervision so the pet does not choke on large pieces.

Hannah B.June 25, 2026
Worked Well for Our Luna

Luna, an adult Sheltie, usually takes a long time to warm up to new treats. She sniffed this cheese first, then carried it over to her mat and chewed almost without stopping. We gave it to her for three evenings in a row in short sessions. Her stomach was fine, the treat had a mild smell, and it didn’t leave our hands sticky.

Fernpaw reply

Hello. Thank you for the detailed review about Luna. Short supervised sessions are a good way to introduce such a dense treat.

Alejandro G.June 24, 2026
Helped Us Get Through Having Guests

Our cocker gets very excited when guests come over. This time we gave him the cheese on his bed before the doorbell rang. He was distracted by chewing, approached people more calmly, and then returned to his spot. I didn’t notice any stickiness on the floor, just a few small dry crumbs at the end.

Maria C.June 23, 2026

I noticed the citrus ingredient on the label, but the chew still smelled mild and milky to me.

Markus T.June 22, 2026

I chose it after reading the milk-based ingredients. The taste clearly worked for my dog.

Fernpaw reply

Hello. Thank you for your review. We’re glad your pet liked the taste. The simple milk base is one of the key features of this chew.

Marco R.June 21, 2026

For a small dog, the piece is substantial; I held it in my hand for the first few minutes. After that she chewed it calmly on her own.

Anke G.June 20, 2026

It arrived quickly and the packaging was intact. The dog appreciated the treat properly.

Felix W.June 19, 2026

I gave it to my dog during a long car trip. He lay quietly on the back seat and chewed almost the whole way.

Fernpaw reply

Hello. A great solution for trips! We’re glad your pet behaved calmly.

Anke G.June 18, 2026

The packaging sorts well for recycling, but it tore along the seam right in the box. I had to transfer it to a zip bag.

Fernpaw reply

Hello. Thank you for your feedback. We will pass the information about this incident on to the warehouse so they can strengthen quality control for order packaging.

Chloe M.June 17, 2026

No colorings or preservatives is a huge plus. The cheese is light in color and looks natural.

Bram K.June 16, 2026

The dog finally got tired from chewing and fell asleep right away. A calm evening for me is guaranteed.

Katharina R.June 15, 2026

We have an adult dachshund. We give it as a complementary food, without replacing her main diet. The perfect balance for a snack.

Tobias G.June 14, 2026

An ordinary everyday item for us. This isn’t my first time buying it. The quality is consistent.

Fernpaw reply

Hello. Thank you for your loyalty to the brand and for continuing to choose our product.

Patrick P.June 13, 2026
Natural and Chemical-Free

I had been looking for a safe alternative to edible bones from pet stores for a long time. I read about Fernpaw and ordered it to try. My retriever chewed through the stick in about three evenings. I immediately noticed that there are no artificial flavorings or preservatives in the ingredients, only basic ingredients. The cheese smells pleasant and natural, so there are no colorings either. I liked that the packaging honestly says to use it under supervision. I add this cheese to the diet as a bonus to the main food.

Fernpaw reply

Hello. Thank you for the detailed and helpful review. You noted it absolutely correctly: this is a complementary food that requires supervision.

Laura H.June 11, 2026

The ingredient list is simple enough for my allergic dog. She ate it calmly and had no reaction.

Fernpaw reply

Hello. Thank you for your review. A natural ingredient list is indeed especially important for dogs with allergies.

Patrick P.June 10, 2026

The cheese didn’t stain the dog bed, just left a slightly damp mark after long chewing, and that was it.

Fernpaw reply

Good afternoon. Thank you for the detail. We’re glad it turned out to be tidy for home use.

Michal N.June 9, 2026

It calms my husky down really well during stressful moments, for example when guests come to the house.

Fernpaw reply

Hello. We’re glad the treat helps your pet cope with stress in unfamiliar situations.

Piotr K.June 8, 2026

For a Rottweiler, this isn’t a toy for a week, but it kept him busy for one evening perfectly. I’ll buy it again.

Katharina B.June 7, 2026

The dog doesn’t swallow it whole, he actually chews it. That’s the main thing for us, because soft snacks disappear instantly.

Fernpaw reply

Hello. Thank you for your review. The hard format helps slow down eating, but supervision is still essential.

Katharina B.June 6, 2026

It doesn’t replace complete nutrition, but as a treat it works ten out of ten.

Fernpaw reply

Hello. Thank you for your review! You are absolutely right: this is an addition to the main diet.

Camille T.June 5, 2026

The stick is very hard; my poodle chewed it for a long time but with effort, so I’ll crumble it.

Giulia B.June 4, 2026

My Chihuahua wouldn't let her have it all at once, she held it and controlled it. She licked the edge and was happy.

Fernpaw reply

Good afternoon. Thank you for the careful approach. For small dogs, it is especially sensible to limit the time spent with a very hard treat and monitor the size of the leftover piece.

Marco R.June 3, 2026

The packaging has no excess plastic layers and is easy to open. The cheese inside is dry, dense, and has no foreign smell.

Fernpaw reply

Hello. Thank you for your feedback. Monomaterial packaging helps simplify recycling, and a dry, dense texture is important for this type of treat.

Sophie L.June 2, 2026

Yak and cow's milk in the ingredients sounds exotic, but the dog loved it.

Fernpaw reply

Good afternoon. Thank you for your review. This is a time-tested classic Himalayan cheese recipe.

Jessica J.June 1, 2026

I liked that the percentages on the label are indicated without water. An honest approach.

Nicolas R.May 31, 2026

My pug took to it right away. I expected a sharper smell from the label, but it mostly smells like hard cheese.

Fernpaw reply

Hello. Thank you for sharing your impressions of the aroma. Lime juice is used in the recipe, but the finished treat retains a mild, natural scent.

Carlos M.May 30, 2026
For strong jaws

My Staffy usually crunches through dried treats too quickly, so I was looking for something denser. I gave him the Fernpaw on Sunday, sat next to him and watched him chew. The piece shrank slowly, with no large sharp splinters. I especially liked that the aroma doesn't fill the kitchen.

Fernpaw reply

Hello. Thank you for the detailed description. We are glad the density suited your dog; continue to supervise the chewing and remove any pieces that get too small.

Christian F.May 29, 2026

It does not crumble in my dog’s mouth and gives him proper chewing work. The small amount of lime on the label did not bother him.

Fernpaw reply

Hello. Thank you for your rating. The lime juice gives the cheese the required density.

Sabine L.May 28, 2026

I order this for my Dachshund. Dense and without a harsh smell. I've tried different brands, but Fernpaw's ingredients are much clearer.

Jessica J.May 27, 2026

The cheese turned out to be too hard for my Dachshund, she chewed it for about ten minutes and walked away.

Fernpaw reply

Hello. With this level of hardness, the treat is not suitable for all dogs; we recommend offering it in short sessions and discontinuing use if it causes dental discomfort.

Carlos M.May 26, 2026

I don't notice any flavorings at all, and the dog is still interested in it. That means the natural taste is enough for her.

Fernpaw reply

Hello. Thank you for your review. We are glad the treat was appealing without artificial flavorings and harsh scents.

Julien D.May 25, 2026
Kept our Boxer occupied

Our Boxer, Rico, usually destroys chew treats very quickly, so I wasn't expecting miracles. I gave him this cheese in the evening while we were cooking dinner. He carried it to his spot and chewed on it in about three sittings. The smell wasn't bothersome, there were few crumbs, and we put the rest away until the next day afterwards.

Fernpaw reply

Good afternoon. Thank you for the detailed experience with Rico. It's great that you broke the chewing down into sessions and put the leftover away afterwards.

Sabine E.May 24, 2026

After the cheese, his breath didn't become sweet and chemical-like, as it does with some other treats.

Julien D.May 22, 2026
Suitable for a Weimaraner

We have a Weimaraner, Loki, with strong jaws; regular sticks disappear in a couple of minutes. I gave him this cheese after a training session, he lay down on his spot and gnawed on it in several sessions. Almost no smell was left on the blanket, and there weren't many crumbs. I put the leftover away because the piece is hard.

Fernpaw reply

Good afternoon. Thank you for the detailed review. For strong dogs, such a dense chew is often convenient, and storing the leftover between sessions helps control the process.

Sabine E.May 21, 2026

The kraft label doesn't slip in the hand and is easily disposable, it shows the brand cares about EU standards.

Pieter M.May 20, 2026

For our adult Setter the hardness was perfect. I would not hand it to a puppy, but he chewed it slowly and confidently.

Thomas K.May 19, 2026

My dog chewed on the stick for almost the entire week. It really keeps her occupied for a long time, and there's no smell in the apartment.

Fernpaw reply

Hello. Thank you for your review! We are glad the treat helped keep your dog occupied for a long time.

Ana P.May 18, 2026
Long-lasting treat

I'm ordering Fernpaw for the second time. My Corgi is 4 years old and absolutely loves this hard cheese. It usually takes him about four days to finish a stick completely. What I particularly like as an owner is that there is absolutely none of that pungent smell that you often get from other chew snacks. The ingredients are simple, I checked before buying, no empty fillers. I will definitely order again, the price is justified.

Thomas K.May 17, 2026

The dog chews on it for a long time, and there is practically no smell in the apartment. Everything is as advertised. We will buy more.

Ana P.May 16, 2026

I gave it under supervision, just as instructed. The dog chewed carefully, everything is fine.

Fernpaw reply

Hello. Thank you for following the usage instructions. We are glad everything went perfectly!

Beatriz S.May 15, 2026

This feels like a chew for grown dogs, not little puppies. My adult dog was happy with it.

Fernpaw reply

Hello. Thank you for your review! For growing puppies, the texture can indeed be too hard.

Beatriz S.May 14, 2026

The plain kraft label looks nice, and the cheese inside kept my dog busy through the evening.

Fernpaw reply

Hello. Thank you for your positive review. We are glad you liked the design and the product itself.

Lotte J.May 13, 2026

The short fur around the muzzle doesn't get sticky from the cheese. This is a huge rarity for these kinds of chews.

Lotte J.May 12, 2026

The cheese didn't leave any greasy marks on the dog bed, even though the dog was dragging it back and forth.

Fernpaw reply

Hello. Thank you for your review. We are glad the treat was convenient for indoor use; after chewing, it is best to put the leftover in a dry place.

Camille T.May 11, 2026

You can seriously hear the crunching of the teeth, you can tell there's mechanical work involved, not just a soft tasty treat.

Daan V.May 10, 2026

I buy these kinds of things when I need to keep the dog occupied during video calls. Fernpaw turned out to be the quietest option, he chews calmly and doesn't drag it all over the room.

Fernpaw reply

Hello. Thank you for your review. We are glad the treat helps keep your pet occupied without causing a commotion at home.

Uwe T.May 9, 2026

Judging by the reaction, the taste was a hit. The bag was easy to set aside for recycling afterward.

Erik J.May 8, 2026

I bought it for the eco-friendly packaging, but the product itself turned out to be high-quality too, with no fillers.

Christian F.May 7, 2026

It cleans the teeth well mechanically; there was noticeably less plaque after a couple of weeks of daily chewing.

Fernpaw reply

Hello. Thank you for your review. Mechanical action on the teeth really does help reduce plaque buildup.

Stefan M.May 6, 2026

The pack opened cleanly, and the simple paper label feels more my style than shiny pet-store packaging.

Pieter M.May 5, 2026
Good for teeth, but there is one downside

I got this cheese for my Jack Russell so he wouldn’t chew the furniture while I work from home. The cheese really is firm; my dog gnawed on it little by little for almost the whole week. His teeth look cleaner after it, and the plaque is coming off. But there is one big downside: when the cheese gets very small, the leftover bits get firmly worked into the hallway rug. The dog chews them thoroughly and smears them into the pile, and it is extremely hard to clean afterward. Now I only give it to him in the kitchen or in a tray. The product itself is excellent, natural and chemical-free; you just need to be ready to clean up after your pet has enjoyed the treat. Special respect to the manufacturer for the eco-friendly packaging.

Fernpaw reply

Good afternoon. Thank you for the detailed review and the high rating of the product. You are absolutely right that, because the treat is natural, it is best given on an easy-to-clean surface to avoid residue getting worked into the rug pile.

Uwe T.May 4, 2026

The size of one cheese is convenient for a medium-sized dog; there’s no need to split it right away. It lasts a long time.

Fernpaw reply

Hello. Thank you for your feedback. The single-piece format really is convenient for gradual use, especially if you put the treat away after a chewing session.

Olivier G.May 3, 2026

My corgi usually finishes treats quickly, but this cheese lasted through several sessions. I gave it after dinner, took away what was left, and offered it again the next day.

Olivier G.May 2, 2026

I bought it as a supplemental treat, and it turned out to be the only thing my dog chews instead of swallowing in chunks.

Fernpaw reply

Good afternoon. Thank you for your purchase; it’s good that the format suited your pet’s chewing habits.

Élodie F.May 1, 2026
Our post-grooming ritual

After grooming, my corgi is usually wound up and runs around the apartment for a long time. This time I gave her Fernpaw on a mat; she worked at it with her teeth for about forty minutes and then calmly lay down to sleep. The cheese didn’t smear across the floor, and the smell was barely noticeable. I’ll keep a supply for days like this.

Fernpaw reply

Hello. Thank you for the detailed review. We’re glad the cheese chew helped your dog switch gears after grooming and didn’t create a strong smell or extra mess at home.

Élodie F.April 30, 2026

This is my second time ordering. Everything is great, but this time the bar was a bit thicker and it was harder for the dog to get a grip on it.

Fernpaw reply

Hello. Thank you for your review. The shape of the bars may vary slightly, as the product is made using a traditional handmade process.

Andrea N.April 29, 2026

I didn’t notice any stickiness on the carpet; the dog chewed it next to the sofa.

Davide GrecoApril 28, 2026
Excellent packaging

I bought it because of the monomaterial packaging. Finally, something you can put in the recycling bin without any hassle. Inside is a good hard cheese, and the dog is happy.

Fernpaw reply

Good afternoon. Thank you for the high rating and for noticing our eco-friendly packaging.

Markus T.April 27, 2026
Suitable for adult dogs

My Labrador is 7 years old and quite an aggressive chewer. He destroys regular bones from the pet store in a couple of minutes, but this Himalayan cheese from Fernpaw lasted almost three days. We gave it strictly in the evening so he would calm down and stop racing around the house. The texture is very hard, so the dog has to put in some effort. As a long-lasting chew treat, this is the best we’ve tried in the last couple of years. Five stars.

Davide GrecoApril 26, 2026

The kraft label with no chlorine bleaching shows care for nature. The cheese itself is good too; the dog is thrilled.

Erik J.April 25, 2026

I liked the understated packaging. More importantly, my dog accepted the cheese immediately.

Sandrine L.April 24, 2026

I got it for a medium-sized dog. He eats it fine, but I had to buy a special holder so the cheese wouldn’t slide around the floor while he chewed.

Fernpaw reply

Hello. Thank you for your purchase. For dogs’ convenience when chewing hard treats, a stable stand or holder may indeed be needed so the piece doesn’t slide across the floor.

Agnieszka W.April 23, 2026

My dog has sensitive teeth, so I only gave it for a short time and watched her. Everything went well.

Fernpaw reply

Good afternoon. Thank you for your review. With sensitive teeth, this cautious approach and supervision are especially important.

Sandrine L.April 22, 2026

One bar lasted our adult beagle through several sessions. I’m happy with the purchase.

Fernpaw reply

Hello. Thank you for your feedback. To maintain interest, you can put the treat away after a short session and give it again later.

C. MarchandApril 21, 2026

The label is plain and not glossy, which I prefer. Nothing about the packaging feels overdone.

Fernpaw reply

Hello. Thank you for mentioning the packaging. It is important to us to combine a neat appearance with a more responsible approach to materials.

Sarah W.April 20, 2026

My dog really likes this treat and chews it for a long time. The only downside for me is that the cheese crumbles onto the carpet.

Fernpaw reply

Good afternoon. Thank you for your review. Crumbling happens because of the product’s high hardness, so for easier cleanup we recommend giving the treat on a special mat.

C. MarchandApril 19, 2026

The ingredient list surprised me at first, but my dog did not hesitate for a second.

Fernpaw reply

Hello. Thank you for your review. Lime juice is used in the traditional cheese format, and we’re glad your pet accepted the treat without hesitation.

Katharina R.April 18, 2026

A dense cheese chew. My pug picked at it for a long time. It keeps a pet nicely occupied.

Timo L.April 17, 2026

No staining of saliva or the carpet. Just a natural light cheese color.

Fernpaw reply

Good afternoon. Thank you for noting the absence of dyes in our product.

Timo L.April 16, 2026

The packaging looks calm instead of loud and plastic-heavy. The dog cared only about the cheese, of course.

Sabine L.April 15, 2026

I liked that the kraft label has no chlorine bleaching. A small thing, but nice. The dog happily polished off the cheese.

Lars O.April 14, 2026

The meat and flavor of Fernpaw are top-notch, but the dog chews on it for a long time, so the consumption rate is minimal.

Fernpaw reply

Hello. Thank you for your comment. The dense texture really helps make the pack last longer.

Lars O.April 13, 2026

The fermented cheese format has a long shelf life without any chemicals, which is great.

Fernpaw reply

Hello. Thank you for your comment. The traditional fermentation method really ensures excellent preservation.

Elena V.April 12, 2026

The dog enjoys chewing it, but the smell is definitely an acquired taste. It has a slightly sour scent. Otherwise, everything is great.

Fernpaw reply

Hello. Thank you for your review. Cheeses of this type have a natural sour-milk aroma, which is a characteristic of the traditional starter culture.

Agnieszka W.April 11, 2026

The piece is a sensible size for us. It is dense enough that my dog actually has to work on it.

Alejandro G.April 10, 2026

I bought it with some hesitation since my Shar-Pei rarely chews anything for more than a minute. With this cheese, he sat there for about an hour.

Fernpaw reply

Hello. It's great that the density of the product kept your pet interested for such a long time.

Sophie L.April 9, 2026

Manufactured in Europe is a huge plus for this price. The transportation distance is short, and you can tell by the quality.

Fernpaw reply

Good afternoon. Thank you for understanding our mission of working with local European factories.

Elena V.April 8, 2026

A craft label without chlorine bleaching, it feels nice to hold.

Fernpaw reply

Good afternoon. Thank you for paying attention to details. We chose unbleached paper for environmental reasons.

Michal N.April 7, 2026

No artificial preservatives. The shelf life is normal, the product didn't spoil in the cupboard.

Fernpaw reply

Hello. Thank you for your comment. The production technology ensures an excellent shelf life.

Sarah W.April 6, 2026

I gave it after a walk when the dog needed to calm down. The cheese kept her busy for a long time.

Joost van DijkApril 5, 2026

It's seriously hard, my Jack Russell didn't break it immediately but actually chewed on it. Exactly what's needed.

Fernpaw reply

Hello. Thank you for your review. This dense texture is designed for prolonged chewing, but for dogs with a strong jaw, it's especially important to stay nearby.

Joost van DijkApril 4, 2026
Interesting, but a bit small

Ordered for my Beagle. The cheese is really hard and helps with dental plaque; the dog chews it happily and gets distracted for a solid half an hour. But unfortunately, the size only lasts a couple of days, even though our dog isn't large. It would be great if you made a bigger version, or just a longer one, so it's enough for a work week. Otherwise, the composition is excellent, I'm glad there are no chemicals or artificial flavorings, it's a natural product. I will order again, but probably two packs at once to make sure it lasts. The pet definitely loves the taste, no stomach issues occurred.

Fernpaw reply

Hello. Thank you for the detailed comment. We will take your wish regarding increasing the size of the bar into account, but for now, as you correctly noted, you can buy several packs at once for larger breeds.

Riccardo M.April 3, 2026

I brought it on a country-house trip, and it helped keep the dog calm and settled in the car.

Riccardo M.April 2, 2026

I gave it under supervision as instructed. The texture is really very hard, it mechanically cleans the teeth excellently.

Timo Z.April 2, 2026

Provides calm engagement. While the dog is chewing, I can peacefully work from home.

Fernpaw reply

Hello. Thank you for your review! We are very glad the product helps you with your daily tasks.

Timo Z.April 1, 2026

The cheese smell doesn't sink into carpets and furniture like it did with other brands of deer antlers.

Fernpaw reply

Good afternoon. Thank you for your review, we intentionally keep the product's natural aroma subtle.

Nathalie C.March 31, 2026

Chlorine-free packaging is a small thing, but I vote with my wallet for the environment.

Nathalie C.March 30, 2026

The ingredients are clearly stated on the packaging, without any weird additives. I check this because my dog is sensitive to treats.

Fernpaw reply

Good afternoon. Thank you for your trust. We believe it's important to state the ingredients directly and without hidden fillers.

Matthias V.March 29, 2026

I buy it for my Poodle. It's a necessary and useful item, but the problem is that the dog hides the cheese under the couch and it gets stuck there.

Fernpaw reply

Good afternoon. Thank you for your purchase. The tendency to hide food is a natural instinct in dogs, so we recommend giving this treat only under supervision and restricting your pet's access under the couch during treat time.

Magdalena L.March 28, 2026

It is a very firm cheese chew. Once my dog settles into gnawing it, he seems to enjoy the taste more and more.

Magdalena L.March 27, 2026

An excellent treat for adult dogs. The problem is that our 14-year-old dog with bad teeth can't chew it.

Marcin L.March 26, 2026

Bought it because there are no dyes or flavorings. The dog's stomach handled it well.

Fernpaw reply

Good afternoon. Thank you for your review, we are glad the treat with a simple ingredient list suited your pet.

Daan V.March 25, 2026

The cheese removes plaque from the dog's teeth well, mechanically cleaning away the dirt. I noticed an improvement.

Fernpaw reply

Hello. Thank you for your observation. The hard texture really helps clean the teeth.

Marcin L.March 24, 2026

Listing the ingredients with percentages and no hidden fillers wins me over. Would buy again without hesitation.

Fernpaw reply

Good afternoon. Thank you for trusting the transparency of our production.

Sophie B.March 23, 2026

I give it as a bonus after the main food, the dog understands that lunch is over and finishes the treat.

Sophie B.March 22, 2026

I liked that the packaging is regular plastic without foil, I just tossed it in the yellow bin and that's it. The dog is happy.

Fernpaw reply

Good afternoon. Thank you for your review. We strive to make our packaging as easy to recycle in the EU as possible.

Sarah BöhmMarch 21, 2026

I was pleased that there are no colorings: the drool and the mat stayed stain-free. The dog is happy.

Sarah BöhmMarch 20, 2026

The salt in the ingredients didn’t worry me; there isn’t much of it to taste, and the dog drank as usual.

Fernpaw reply

Good afternoon. Thank you for your review and for paying attention to the ingredients. The treat is still a complementary food, so it is important to give it in moderation and ensure access to water.

Luca C.March 19, 2026

The dog chewed the stick for almost three days, and there’s no particular smell in the apartment. The texture really is hard. We’ll buy it again.

Fernpaw reply

Hello. We’re glad the treat suited your pet and lasted for several days. Come back for more purchases.

Sanne de J.March 18, 2026

I liked that there isn’t a strong cheesy stink; honestly, I was afraid there would be. My dachshund chewed it on the mat and then calmly fell asleep.

Fernpaw reply

Good afternoon. Thank you for your review; a restrained aroma really is important for treats used in an apartment.

Luca C.March 17, 2026

The ingredients with yak milk sounded unusual, so I tried it with my corgi. Eats it happily, with no strong smell.

Fernpaw reply

Hello. Thank you for your review; we’re glad your corgi liked the yak chew format.

Bas S.March 16, 2026

The ingredients with yak and cow’s milk suited our dog, although I’m cautious about new proteins.

Bas S.March 16, 2026

I expected a chemical cheese smell, but it just smells like regular powdered milk. very pleasantly surprised.

Fernpaw reply

Hello. Thank you for your rating. We deliberately do not use artificial flavorings.

FlorianMarch 15, 2026

It lasted more than one evening, even though our retriever usually eats everything quickly.

FlorianMarch 14, 2026

Right size for my medium dog. She can pin it between her paws without it disappearing too quickly.

Hannah B.March 13, 2026

After chewing, I didn’t notice a sticky muzzle like with some treats. The schnauzer is happy.

Fernpaw reply

Hello. Thank you for your review. The dry, hard format usually leaves fewer sticky marks, but after chewing it is still helpful to check your pet’s resting spot.

LauraMarch 12, 2026

The aroma is natural and very restrained, which is really important for an apartment. The dog is happy.

Fernpaw reply

Good afternoon. Thank you for your review; we’re glad the mild aroma proved convenient for home use. We wish your pet pleasant and calm chewing.

LauraMarch 11, 2026

My spitz licks this cheese for a long time instead of swallowing it right away. Convenient for a small dog, I’m buying more.

Andrea N.March 10, 2026

It doesn’t crumble right away like many snacks. The dog really works his jaws, instead of just swallowing.

Fernpaw reply

Good afternoon. Thank you for noting the density. This is exactly the format designed for longer chewing.

B. BakkerMarch 9, 2026

The ingredients are super clean, with no hidden fillers. I finally found a brand I trust.

Fernpaw reply

Good afternoon. Thank you for your trust in our products and in our honest approach to ingredients.

B. BakkerMarch 8, 2026

After our walk, I gave it to my beagle and he settled down with it for most of the evening. The apartment did not smell like a treat shop.

Guillaume B.March 7, 2026

The French bulldog chewed it for about twenty minutes over several evenings, working his teeth actively but without rushing.

Guillaume B.March 6, 2026

I’d been looking for something to keep my dog busy while I work from home. This stick brightened up our working hours.

Uwe D.March 5, 2026

A complementary food; I give it little by little alongside the main diet. The dog is thrilled.

Uwe D.March 5, 2026

The price is justified, because the dog eats regular treats in a minute, but here he’s fully occupied.

Nuria M.March 4, 2026

The mono-material bag went through our sorting just fine, which is nice. The dog, of course, was more interested in the cheese than the packaging.

Nuria M.March 3, 2026

Our dog used to spit out cheese from other brands. He chews this one to the end.

Franziska L.March 2, 2026

The texture is very hard, just as described. My poodle had to work at it.

Franziska L.March 1, 2026
A Long-Lasting Treat with One Caveat

I bought it for my Labrador Rex to keep him occupied while I work. Overall, the cheese is excellent; the dog chewed it for almost two hours straight, and his teeth look clean afterward. I was pleased with the ingredients, no unnecessary chemical components. But after just a couple of days, I noticed that on the edges where the dog couldn’t gnaw through the dense pieces, fairly sharp chips remained. I had to take the leftovers away and throw them out, because I’m afraid my pet could injure his gums. If the manufacturer somehow smoothed out this issue or included a special tool for soaking the edges, it would be absolutely excellent. As it is, overall I’m satisfied, Rex is happy and properly occupied.

Fernpaw reply

Good afternoon. Thank you for the detailed review. To prevent sharp chips from forming, we recommend taking the treat away from the dog at the final stage of chewing and soaking the remaining hard edges in water before serving.

Davide F.February 28, 2026

The short label was what convinced me. My dog ate it willingly, and I did not see any stomach trouble afterward.

Fernpaw reply

Good afternoon. Thank you for your feedback; it is important to us that you noted the simple ingredients and good palatability.

Davide F.February 27, 2026

I took it on the road in the camper van because the packaging is light and doesn’t smell in the bag. Very convenient.

Fernpaw reply

Good afternoon. Thank you for your review. The restrained aroma and compact packaging really are convenient for trips; just give the treat to your dog during a calm stop and under supervision.

Jan J.February 26, 2026

My dog liked it and the smell isn't strong. However, there was a lot of cheese crumble at the bottom of the package which immediately scattered all over the floor.

Fernpaw reply

Hello. Thank you for rating the product. The presence of cheese crumbs at the bottom of the package sometimes occurs during transportation due to the natural fragility of the product; we recommend opening the package right over your pet's bowl.

Jan J.February 25, 2026

The pack lasts a week. I have a dachshund and she made it last for a long time.

Charlotte F.February 24, 2026

The shape of a solid stick makes it comfortable for the dog to hold with its paws. Minimal salt.

Fernpaw reply

Good afternoon. Thank you for your feedback. The shape is indeed designed for a comfortable grip for the pet.

Charlotte F.February 24, 2026

The kraft label feels nice to the touch. It looks very stylish and is unbleached, which is important.

Lotte L.February 23, 2026

Gave it to my pug, he was in heaven for half the evening. The smell at home is fine, nothing chemical about it.

Lotte L.February 22, 2026

Lasted three days of intense chewing by a large Shepherd. I find the consumption rate to be very economical.

Romain R.February 21, 2026

Great texture for cleaning teeth. I noticed less plaque buildup.

Romain R.February 20, 2026

The absence of hidden fillers is a huge plus. Buying it for the second time in a row.

Fernpaw reply

Good afternoon. Thank you for trusting our brand. We are happy to have loyal customers.

Sabine S.February 19, 2026

Cow and yak, a classic combo. My poodle approves of this game.

Sabine S.February 18, 2026

I ordered partly because it is made in Europe. It arrived fresh, and my dog was interested as soon as I opened it.

Fernpaw reply

Good afternoon. Thank you for your feedback. Working with European manufacturers helps shorten the supply chain to the customer, and freshness upon receipt is very important to us.

David R.February 17, 2026

The cheese is dry and hard, easy to take along in a doggy bag. Doesn't get the pocket dirty.

Fernpaw reply

Good afternoon. Thank you for your review. We are glad the format turned out to be convenient for carrying and walking.

Frank B.February 17, 2026

The treat is great, the dog is absolutely thrilled. But for some reason, there was almost no dry milk powder left inside, unlike other brands.

Frank B.February 16, 2026
For peaceful evenings

We have a mixed-breed dog named Nora, she's two years old, and in the evenings she often demands attention. We gave her the Fernpaw cheese four times, always under supervision. She lies down next to the sofa and chews on it for a long time without any fuss. I especially liked that there's no strong dairy smell in the room, as sometimes happens with other treats.

Marieke van DijkFebruary 15, 2026

The packaging is unbleached and recyclable, I bought it purely for the eco-friendliness. The dog is happy.

Fernpaw reply

Hello. Thank you for paying attention to our kraft label and eco-friendly materials.

Marieke van DijkFebruary 14, 2026

It's hard, but that's exactly what cleans the teeth. Recommend it.

Delphine B.February 13, 2026

While the dog is busy with the cheese, she doesn't scratch the furniture. A wonderful alternative to raw bones.

Fernpaw reply

Good afternoon. We are glad the product does a great job of protecting the furniture and keeping your pet occupied.

Matthias V.February 12, 2026

Our poodle is a picky eater, but he took to this hard cheese right away. Will be buying more.

Fernpaw reply

Hello. Thanks for the review, it's great to know the treat was a hit even with a picky pet.

Delphine B.February 11, 2026
Our evening ritual

We have a schnauzer named Nora; she needs something to chew on before bed, otherwise she goes looking for slippers. I offered this cheese for four evenings in a row in small amounts, always sitting nearby. She chewed it calmly, and then went to her bed on her own. I like that the product doesn't look like a sweet doggy candy, the ingredients are simple and clear.

Marcin LewandowskaFebruary 11, 2026

I liked that there are no artificial fragrances; the dog got interested on his own, without any overwhelming smell.

Marcin LewandowskaFebruary 10, 2026

The Fernpaw dog treat has become a hit in our house. The cheese texture is very hard, so I only give it under supervision as instructed.

SabineFebruary 9, 2026

My Boxer specifically liked the dense edge; he gnawed on it for a long time and didn't swallow it in chunks.

Fernpaw reply

Hello. Thank you for your review. We are glad the format suited your Boxer; with active chewing, we still recommend keeping an eye on your pet.

SabineFebruary 8, 2026

After dinner, I give a piece as an activity, not as food. The dog caught on to this ritual quickly.

Fernpaw reply

Good afternoon. Thank you for using the cheese chew specifically as a supplementary treat. This format is well-suited for a short, peaceful ritual after the main meal.

Katarina R.February 7, 2026

Natural and subtle scent. He chews on it longer than regular treats.

Katarina R.February 6, 2026

Very hard cheese, it was a bit tough for my Yorkie to chew but he managed it. The smell is pleasant.

Ralf O.February 5, 2026

The price is fair for the quality. The ingredients are free of artificial colors and preservatives, thank you.

Fernpaw reply

Hello. Thank you for your rating. We fundamentally do not use artificial additives in our recipes.

Ralf O.February 5, 2026

Perfect for long car trips; the dog stays busy.

Fernpaw reply

Hello. Thank you for your review. Long-lasting chewing really does a great job of distracting a pet on the road.

Mathieu R.February 4, 2026

A hard cheese chew, just as described. Smells pleasant, no chemical odor. We bought it again.

Mathieu R.February 3, 2026

Our Spitz first carried the piece around on the carpet, then figured it out and calmly chewed for about forty minutes.

Fernpaw reply

Hello. Thank you for describing the first experience. We recommend adjusting chewing time to the dog's size and habits.

Marcin W.February 2, 2026

I got it for an adult husky-type dog; her teeth are strong and she chewed it confidently. I definitely wouldn't give this to a young puppy.

Fernpaw reply

Good afternoon. Thank you for using it responsibly. The product is intended for adult dogs, and for puppies or pets with sensitive teeth, it's better to choose a softer option.

Marcin W.February 1, 2026
Helped on a rainy day

When it rained all day, our walks ended up being short, and my dog was bored at home. I gave him this hard cheese on a blanket, sat next to him, and read. He worked on the treat for almost the whole movie, taking breaks now and then and coming back to it. It didn't make the floor dirty, and the smell was mild. After this experience, I'll definitely order more.

Davide G.January 31, 2026

My poodle couldn't bite through it right away and worked on it patiently, exactly what we needed.

Davide G.January 31, 2026

The cheese cleans the dog's teeth well. But the piece turned out to be too long, and the dog couldn't hold it with his paws on the slippery floor.

Fernpaw reply

Good afternoon. Thank you for your purchase. Given the length of the stick, we recommend introducing the treat by first cutting the cheese into shorter pieces that are easier to hold with the paws.

L. IglesiasJanuary 30, 2026
Good after training

We have a mixed-breed dog, Marta, very active, and after training she takes a long time to settle down at home. I gave her this cheese after evening training three times in a week. She carried it to her bed herself and chewed it calmly. I liked that there are no flavorings in the ingredients, because the smell in the room stays normal.

Fernpaw reply

Hello. Thank you for the detailed review. We're glad the treat helped Marta switch off after activity; short, supervised sessions work best for such a hard product.

L. IglesiasJanuary 29, 2026

The ingredient list is short and easy to understand. My Labrador chewed it without any stomach upset.

Fernpaw reply

Hello. Thank you for noting the simple recipe and good tolerance. This is a supplemental treat, so it's best given in reasonable amounts between main meals.

Clara M.January 28, 2026

Not a bad cheese for teeth. It's a pity there is salt in the ingredients, so I have to strictly watch the amount.

Fernpaw reply

Hello. Thank you for your review. A small amount of salt is a technological necessity in the process of making traditional Himalayan cheese, so we fully support your sensible approach to managing your pet's diet.

Clara M.January 27, 2026

Excellent product and fast delivery; the dog crunched away happily.

Fernpaw reply

Good afternoon. Thank you for your review and high rating.

Sergio S.January 26, 2026

The mono-material packaging is a big plus. The dog ate every last bit.

Sergio S.January 26, 2026

The ingredients are crystal clear and honest. No hidden fillers, they even listed the percentages. Respect to the producer.

D. ChevalierJanuary 25, 2026

The dog first sniffed it because of the milky smell, then carried it to the mat and worked on it for an hour.

D. ChevalierJanuary 24, 2026

It worked well for our adult spaniel; I wouldn't give something like this to a puppy.

Fernpaw reply

Hello. Thank you for your thoughtful approach. The product is intended for adult dogs, and because of its high hardness, it's important to take your pet's teeth and habits into account.

Laura M.January 23, 2026

The lime on the label caught my eye, but the chew was not bitter. My dog gnawed it happily.

Laura M.January 22, 2026

My dog has a sensitive stomach, but after a short session everything was fine.

Fernpaw reply

Hello. Thank you for your feedback. With sensitive digestion, it's best to start with short sessions and watch your pet's individual reaction.

Sandra C.January 22, 2026

Hard as a rock, but the dog likes it. I give a little at a time when he's really bored.

Sandra C.January 21, 2026

It fully lives up to its purpose as a long-lasting chew. The dog is calm, and I'm calm.

Bernd L.January 20, 2026

Natural aroma with no added fragrances. Doesn't smell like dog or strange spices.

Fernpaw reply

Hello. Thank you for your comment! We keep the product's natural profile without unnecessary chemicals.

Bernd L.January 19, 2026

My beagle got it after a walk and stayed busy with it for nearly the whole evening.

Fernpaw reply

Hello. Thank you for your review; we're glad the treat helped keep your dog calmly occupied after a walk. We recommend giving this kind of hard chew under supervision.

Marieke W.January 18, 2026

We have a Labrador with awful eating habits, but with this stick he really slows down and gnaws thoughtfully.

Fernpaw reply

Hello. We're glad the hard texture helps your Labrador slow down while eating.

Marieke W.January 18, 2026

It absolutely must be given under supervision. The dog sometimes chokes a little, but she likes the taste.

Fernpaw reply

Hello. Thank you for your review and vigilance. Supervision during chewing really is very important.

Philipp P.January 17, 2026

A good product for mechanical work on the teeth. My shepherd loved it.

Philipp P.January 16, 2026

I bought it for a shepherd after training. She gnawed calmly and didn't try to bite it into pieces right away.

Fernpaw reply

Hello. Thank you for your review. After activity, this kind of treat can be given for a calm transition, always under supervision.

Émilie N.January 15, 2026

A truly traditional Himalayan format. Dense and without any harsh odor, exactly as stated in the description.

Émilie N.January 14, 2026

I was a bit worried about the warning regarding sensitive teeth, but we managed without any issues.

Tomasz NowickiJanuary 14, 2026

The piece got really small at the end and I was worried the dog would swallow it whole, but everything turned out fine.

Fernpaw reply

Good day. Thank you for being vigilant. At the final stage of chewing, we recommend taking away small leftovers to prevent swallowing.

Tomasz NowickiJanuary 13, 2026

The pup is happy, chews it for a long time and with great pleasure. No dyes or other chemicals, just natural yak milk.

Maria C.January 12, 2026

High-quality packaging that didn't tear while shipping in the same parcel with heavy dry food.

Ewa T.January 11, 2026

My Miniature Pinscher has sensitive teeth, so I watched him closely. He chewed it carefully without damaging the enamel. I love the ingredients: just milk and lime juice.

Ewa T.January 11, 2026

Loved the mild scent, usually these cheese sticks stink up the whole apartment. This one is nicely understated.

Sven B.January 10, 2026

Long chewing guaranteed. Bought it to try and now buy it regularly.

Fernpaw reply

Hello. Thank you for your feedback! We are glad the product became a regular purchase.

Sven B.January 9, 2026

The label is refreshingly simple: no mystery additives. The puppy was delighted with it.

Fernpaw reply

Hello. Thank you for the rating. We are truly proud of the honest and transparent ingredients of our product.

J. SikoraJanuary 8, 2026

My dog doesn't like strong-smelling treats, but she took to this cheese calmly.

Fernpaw reply

Good day. Thank you for your review. The mild, natural scent is specifically designed for comfortable indoor use.

J. SikoraJanuary 7, 2026

Mild scent without any harsh odor. The room doesn't smell like smoked bones like it does with other brands.

Philipp V.January 7, 2026
A relaxing evening guaranteed

I was looking for a safe alternative to raw bones. This hard cheese chew was perfect. The dog has been gnawing on it for about forty minutes, and the piece is only worn down at the edges. No preservatives or dyes, which was the deciding factor for me. The ingredients are completely transparent: cow and yak milk, a little lime juice, and salt. The smell is natural and milky, not off-putting to have in the house. Very pleased with the result and how calm my pet is. Will definitely order again when this piece runs out.

Philipp V.January 6, 2026

It's good that this is a supplementary food and not a dinner replacement. I gave it after a meal, and the dog was calmer.

Fernpaw reply

Good day. Thank you for your review. Yes, it's best to use the cheese chew as a treat after their main meal or between feedings.

C. GrecoJanuary 5, 2026

The natural ingredients are a big plus. It's just a shame that one of the packages contained some very small cheese scraps.

C. GrecoJanuary 4, 2026

The cheese doesn't crumble in your hands, making it easy to give to the dog and then put back in a bag until next time.

Olivier RousseauJanuary 4, 2026

My Dachshund usually finishes treats quickly, but she gnawed on this hard cheese for two days.

Olivier RousseauJanuary 3, 2026

This hard cheese chew turned out great. My fluffy critic approved.

Fernpaw reply

Hello. Thank you for the high rating! We send warm regards to your fluffy critic.

Nicolas T.January 2, 2026

A minor note: the piece is very hard, but that's exactly what I was looking for in a chew.

Fernpaw reply

Good day. Thank you for your honest review. Yes, the texture of this cheese is very dense, so we recommend offering it only under supervision.

Nicolas T.January 1, 2026
Excellent way to keep a dog occupied

We used to buy similar cheeses at the market, but the quality varied wildly. With Fernpaw, I consistently get the same result. It's a supplementary food for long chewing; it's very dense and keeps my Husky occupied for a few hours over a couple of days. The ingredients are listed honestly with percentages. The only thing is, due to its high hardness, I make sure he doesn't bite off too big of a piece, but that's just the nature of this format. Otherwise, the purchase is completely worth it.

Fernpaw reply

Hello. Thank you so much for the detailed review and your attention to detail! We are glad to provide you with consistent quality.

Daniel WagnerJanuary 1, 2026

A very hard piece, which is a plus for our Labrador: he didn't swallow it in five minutes.

Fernpaw reply

Hello. Thank you for sharing your experience. With such dense treats, it is indeed important to give them under supervision.

Daniel WagnerDecember 31, 2025

My Dachshund sniffed it at first, then got into it, chewing on it for a long and peaceful time.

Sandra R.December 30, 2025
Kept a Spanish Mastiff occupied

We have a large dog, and most treats disappear instantly. I gave this Fernpaw cheese after an evening walk and kept an eye on him. The Mastiff first tried to bite it in half, then figured it out and started slowly wearing down the edge. After about an hour, I took the rest away, and we continued the next day. I loved that the smell didn't overpower the whole kitchen.

Fernpaw reply

Hello. Thank you for the detailed story about using it with a large dog. You did the right thing by monitoring the process and taking the rest away after the session; that is the safest way to use a hard treat.

Sandra R.December 30, 2025

For an adult Setter it worked well. I watched him chew and took the small leftover away before it got too short.

Fernpaw reply

Good day. Thank you for your responsible approach. The product is intended for adult dogs, and it really is better to take away small leftovers to prevent hasty swallowing.

Romain D.December 29, 2025

This product really works for keeping them peacefully occupied. The dog just lies in his spot and chews on the cheese.

Fernpaw reply

Hello. Thank you for your rating. We are glad the product handled its main task perfectly.

Romain D.December 28, 2025

A small crust was left at the end that was a bit too big for the dog, so I had to take it away.

Fernpaw reply

Hello. Thank you for your review. If a small piece is left, you can soak it in water for a couple of minutes and give it back to your dog to chew on once softened.

Sandra O.December 27, 2025

My terrier worked on it for most of the evening. The smell stayed low, which I appreciated.

Fernpaw reply

Hello. Thank you for your review. We’re glad the treat worked well for long, calm chewing and didn’t leave a strong smell in the house.

Sandra O.December 27, 2025

The smell is natural and quite subtle. It doesn’t make the whole house smell like cheap bones.

Fernpaw reply

Hello. Thank you for the high rating. We specifically aimed for a natural aroma without harsh fragrances.

Nadine N.December 26, 2025

I bought it because of the recyclable mono-material packaging, and the dog appreciated what was inside. It’s rare that my opinion and hers line up.

Nadine N.December 25, 2025

Good quality, and the ingredients are easy to read. But for my taste, too much lime juice has been added.

Fernpaw reply

Good afternoon. Thank you for your assessment of the quality and clear ingredient labeling. We’ll pass your comment about the strength of the lime juice on to the team responsible for the recipe.

Nuria G.December 25, 2025

I briefly heated the leftover piece, and it became more porous. The dog liked it as a final little piece.

Fernpaw reply

Good afternoon. Thank you for sharing your experience. When the treat gets small, it really is better not to give it whole and to use it only in a safe way.

Nuria G.December 24, 2025

I bought it out of curiosity after reading the ingredients. My dog liked the flavor right away.

Fernpaw reply

Good afternoon. We’re glad your pet enjoyed the natural recipe.

AlbertoDecember 23, 2025

I buy it regularly. It’s a supplementary feed, so I don’t give much. It’s enough for my dog to give his teeth a workout.

Fernpaw reply

Hello. Thank you for your loyalty and for taking the right approach to feeding.

AlbertoDecember 22, 2025

After a couple of weeks, I noticed my dog was looking for things to chew around the house less often. This cheese really helps in the evening.

BirgitDecember 22, 2025
Long Chewing Process

I was looking for something to keep my puppy busy during teething. This product is positioned for adult dogs, but I gave it strictly under supervision and in small portions. The mechanical load on the teeth is excellent. The texture is very hard; he literally scrapes at it. The subtle aroma doesn’t make it unpleasant to be in the same room with a chewing dog. The ingredients are honest: yak and cow’s milk, lime juice, and salt. The packaging is recyclable in the EU, which is also a huge plus. It’s packed well, and 90 grams is a proper piece. I’ll definitely buy it again, as it’s the best way to keep a pet occupied.

Worked for a Sensitive Dog

My mixed-breed dog has a sensitive stomach, so I usually introduce new treats carefully. First I let her chew it for about ten minutes, then repeated it for two more evenings. There was no bad reaction, her stool was normal, and her interest in the cheese remained. I especially like that there are no unclear fillers in the ingredients.

Fernpaw reply

Good afternoon. Thank you for the detailed description of the gradual introduction. With sensitive digestion, this approach is especially sensible, and the simple recipe helps the owner better control the diet.

Anja WinklerDecember 20, 2025

It’s good that this isn’t a main food, but specifically a treat. I give it rarely, as an activity.

Anja WinklerDecember 20, 2025

Usually these kinds of chew things stink of smoked meat. Here the smell is restrained, and nothing in the house smells.

Fernpaw reply

Good afternoon. Thank you for your feedback. We understand how important a subtle aroma is in everyday life, which is why we don’t use artificial fragrances.

S. ChevalierDecember 19, 2025

The cheese is genuinely rock hard, so I only give it when I’m nearby. My shepherd is occupied and doesn’t get nervous.

Fernpaw reply

Hello. Thank you for using it attentively. Because of the high hardness, it really is important to give the treat under supervision, especially to active chewing dogs.

S. ChevalierDecember 18, 2025

Overall, I’m satisfied. It’s a pity the product arrived with dented packaging and the bar had a crack, although it didn’t affect the quality of the cheese itself.

Nicolas ChevalierDecember 18, 2025

The mechanical load on the teeth is clearly beneficial. The gums stopped getting inflamed.

Nicolas ChevalierDecember 17, 2025

Very hard and long-lasting. A little disappointed there’s no hook for hanging it on walks.

Federica C.December 16, 2025

The ingredients label is easy to read, with no mysterious additives. That matters to me before buying.

Federica C.December 16, 2025

I gave it only under supervision, as recommended, and everything went calmly.

Fernpaw reply

Good afternoon. Thank you for following the usage recommendations. For very hard treats, watching the dog really is important.

Kerstin G.December 15, 2025

A subtle aroma in the house matters. It doesn’t smell like smoked meat the way other brands do.

Kerstin G.December 14, 2025

I gave it to my Yorkie under strict supervision, just as written. He chewed carefully, and his teeth are intact.

Fernpaw reply

Good afternoon. Thank you for taking the right approach to using hard treats.

Patricia L.December 14, 2025

The ingredient list is short, with no unclear additives, so I bought it without hesitation.

Fernpaw reply

Good afternoon. Thank you for your trust in Fernpaw. We really do try to list ingredients transparently and without hidden fillers.

Ingrid F.December 13, 2025

It contains regular salt, which worried me at first, but the consultant explained that you can’t make the cheese without it.

Fernpaw reply

Good afternoon. Thank you for understanding the recipe. Salt is a necessary element of the traditional fermentation process.

A Calm Evening at Home

We have a young Border Collie who often demands attention in the evening. I gave him this Himalayan cheese three times after long walks, always under supervision. He lies down next to the sofa and chews without fuss, and he didn’t touch the furniture on those evenings. The smell is mild; my husband didn’t even realize right away that the dog had been given a treat.

Fernpaw reply

Good afternoon. Thank you for the detailed usage experience. We’re glad the cheese chew helped redirect an active dog toward a calm activity at home; supervision with such a hard texture is the right choice.

E. FontanaDecember 12, 2025

No artificial fragrance, and my hands don’t smell strange after handling the cheese. That’s a big plus for me.

E. FontanaDecember 11, 2025

The dog chews carefully and happily, his muzzle gets covered in drool, but it’s worth it for the quiet.

Fernpaw reply

Hello. Thank you for your review. Heavy drooling is a natural reaction to the treat.

For workdays

I have an adult French Bulldog named Bruno, and it's hard for him to just lie quietly while I work from home. I've given him this cheese after our morning walk a few times now. He chews it slowly, doesn't constantly beg for attention, and it doesn't leave a strong smell on the blanket. I take away the small leftover piece immediately.

Nina KrügerDecember 10, 2025

The cheese is good, keeps the dog busy for a long time. However, it seems to me that it's still too hard for small breeds, I have to break off pieces with pliers.

Fernpaw reply

Hello. Thank you for the review, we are glad the cheese keeps your dog busy for a long time. For small breeds, we recommend choosing a treat of the appropriate size and giving it only under supervision, without breaking off pieces that are too small.

GiuliaDecember 9, 2025

No additives like preservatives that ruin a dog's GI tract. Pure food.

GiuliaDecember 8, 2025

Perfect for long chewing. The dog is busy and doesn't beg for food from the table.

Émilie B.December 8, 2025

The cheese doesn't stain the dog bed, just a little fine dust at the very end. That's not a problem at all.

Émilie B.December 7, 2025

I saw salt and lime listed and checked the portion size, but it seems reasonable. My dog drinks water and keeps chewing happily.

Fernpaw reply

Good afternoon. Thank you for your review. Salt in minimal quantities is necessary for the cheese-making process.

B. de VriesDecember 7, 2025

The packaging makes the ingredients completely clear, I didn't have to search for a fine-print list of additives.

Fernpaw reply

Hello. Thank you for your review. We try to make the ingredient information clear so the customer can see exactly what their pet is getting.

B. de VriesDecember 6, 2025

Cleans teeth perfectly and keeps the dog busy. It's a pity there are no instructions on exactly how to microwave the last pieces to make them puffy.

Andrea M.December 5, 2025

The dog chewed on the stick all evening, and the smell in the apartment is absolutely neutral. That's a huge plus.

Fernpaw reply

Hello. We are glad you appreciated the lack of strong odors while chewing.

Andrea M.December 5, 2025

After chewing, there is less soft plaque on the teeth, at least it visually looks cleaner.

Fernpaw reply

Hello. Thank you for the observation. The hard texture creates mechanical friction during chewing, but it does not replace regular dental care.

Britta S.December 4, 2025

I liked that there is no strong smell. But the kraft label inside the box got a bit damp and covered in spots.

Britta S.December 4, 2025
A calm evening guaranteed

I was looking for something to keep my hyperactive Boxer busy in the evenings. Fernpaw did the trick perfectly. It's a dense treat, the dog works on it for a long time, and the teeth get the necessary workout. Sometimes he bites off small pieces towards the end, so I always supervise the process. I really like that it comes in monomaterial packaging, which is easy to dispose of; I applaud the care for the environment. I am completely satisfied with the product and will be ordering a larger batch.

Fernpaw reply

Hello. Thank you for the detailed story! We are glad we were able to solve the issue with your Boxer's activity.

Marta IglesiasDecember 3, 2025

Usually my Setter spits out new things, but he started chewing on this cheese immediately without hesitation.

Fernpaw reply

Hello. We are glad the natural aroma appealed to even such a picky pet.

Marta IglesiasDecember 2, 2025

There is salt in the ingredients, so I give it in small amounts. The dog is happy, drinks water, and goes back to chewing.

Fernpaw reply

Hello. Thank you for your attentive use. Moderate portions and access to water work great for treats like this.

Emma L.December 2, 2025

The smell is very subtle, and my dog took a full day to show any interest. A treat should be exciting to a dog immediately, not something he warms up to.

Emma L.December 1, 2025

I gifted this to a friend for her dog's birthday, and she was absolutely thrilled.

Fernpaw reply

Hello. Thank you for your review! It makes a great gift for any furry friend.

Doreen KrügerDecember 1, 2025

I gave it to her after grooming, the dog quickly got distracted and stopped following me like a shadow.

Fernpaw reply

Good afternoon. Thank you for your review. We are glad the cheese helped occupy your pet after the procedure and made for a calmer evening.

Doreen KrügerNovember 30, 2025

The salt is noticeable but within reason, the dog drinks more water than usual afterwards.

Fernpaw reply

Good afternoon. Thank you for the honest review. Salt is present in the recipe as a processing component; we recommend monitoring access to fresh water.

Stefan P.November 29, 2025

Monomaterial packaging plus clear ingredients is a great combination for me. The dog ate it with no issues.

Fernpaw reply

Good afternoon. Thank you for your review, we are pleased that you noted both the packaging and the transparent ingredients.

Stefan P.November 29, 2025

After chewing, the dog was busy and didn't ask to play every five minutes.

Fernpaw reply

Good afternoon. Thank you for your review, we are glad the treat helped occupy your pet. As a reminder, hard cheese should be given under supervision.

Maxime D.November 28, 2025

I liked that there are no dyes. It's just a shame that my dog now prefers this cheese to his regular dry food.

Fernpaw reply

Hello. Thank you for your review, we are glad you noted the absence of dyes. We recommend giving the cheese as a treat between meals and factoring it into the overall daily diet so that the main food remains the primary source of nutrition.

Maxime D.November 28, 2025

My dog specifically loves hard chew things; he eats soft ones in a second. With this one, he sat with it for a long time, very happy.

Birgit Z.November 27, 2025

The portion size is convenient, just enough for a couple of weeks of calm evenings in front of the TV.

Fernpaw reply

Good afternoon. We are glad you found the portion format convenient.

Birgit Z.November 27, 2025

Yak and cow milk gives it an excellent flavor. The dog can smell it from another room.

Bram W.November 26, 2025

No dyes, and it doesn't stain your hands, which is a definite plus.

Fernpaw reply

Hello. Thank you for noting the absence of dyes. We are glad you found the product convenient and clean for everyday use.

Bram W.November 26, 2025

I liked the bubble wrap packaging; we put it straight into the blue recycling bin. The cheese inside is excellent.

Fernpaw reply

Hello. Thank you for choosing Fernpaw and for caring about the environment! We're glad the product was to your pet's taste.

Holger W.November 25, 2025

Simple recipe. Nothing extra, just cow's and yak's milk.

Fernpaw reply

Good afternoon. Thank you for your concise and positive review.

Holger W.November 25, 2025

The cheese is excellent and the packaging is eco-friendly. But the label doesn't say how long it keeps after opening the bag.

A Calm Evening at Home

Our Labrador Rio gets nervous when we have guests over. Last Saturday we gave him Fernpaw before our friends arrived, and he settled down on his mat with the cheese for about forty minutes. He didn't crumble it much or drag it all over the apartment. We put the rest away, then gave it to him again in the morning. I'll buy it again.

Patricia F.November 23, 2025

The cheese is dense, but it doesn't smell chemical. The dog chewed it after dinner, and we kept a bowl of water nearby.

Fernpaw reply

Hello. Thank you for your review. Keeping water nearby while chewing dense treats is always a good practice.

Valentina D.November 23, 2025

Small pack, but the cheese is very dense and lasted almost a week.

Valentina D.November 22, 2025

After opening, the bag didn't smell up the whole kitchen. I gave him a piece in the evening, and the dog was busy until bedtime.

Fernpaw reply

Good afternoon. Thank you for your feedback. We're glad the aroma was comfortable for the kitchen and evening use.

Maxime R.November 22, 2025

Honest ingredients. I checked the percentage breakdown and felt reassured. No hidden additives.

Fernpaw reply

Hello. Thank you for your trust! We believe manufacturers should list ingredients with complete transparency.

Maxime R.November 21, 2025

The texture is hard but doesn't crumble, and the dog is thrilled.

Fernpaw reply

Good afternoon. Thank you for your review. We're glad the product's texture suited your pet.

Céline V.November 21, 2025

After a walk in the rain, I gave it to her on the mat, and the dog calmed down and stopped racing around the hallway.

Fernpaw reply

Good afternoon. Thank you for your review. This kind of chew works well for calm occupation after an active walk, especially when given in a familiar spot.

Céline V.November 20, 2025

The cheese aroma is mild. It doesn't smell up the whole house, which is great.

Fernpaw reply

Hello. Thank you for your feedback! We tried to preserve the natural aroma without artificial enhancement.

Simone M.November 20, 2025

I chose it because of the European production, and delivery was quick. My dog approved of the chew too.

Fernpaw reply

Hello. Thank you for your review. We do work with European production facilities so the product's journey is shorter.

Simone M.November 20, 2025

The mono-material packaging is easy to sort at EU centers. Convenient and eco-friendly. The pet liked it too.

Fernpaw reply

Hello. Thank you for your feedback. We're glad the eco-friendliness of the packaging was appreciated.

Lotte S.November 19, 2025

Just right for an adult dog. I give it during the day so he doesn't run around the apartment.

Lotte S.November 19, 2025

My dog chewed through it in one evening but was very happy. The hardness is excellent.

Andrea V.November 18, 2025

The piece didn't immediately soften from saliva like regular sticks do. For my active Jack Russell, that's rare.

Andrea V.November 18, 2025

I got it to distract my dog during Zoom calls. Works like a charm; he immediately sits down to chew.

Fernpaw reply

Hello. It's great that the treat helps channel your dog's energy in a calmer direction.

Patrick HartmannNovember 17, 2025

The salt in the ingredients is listed honestly, so I don't give it every day. The dog treats it like a special snack.

Fernpaw reply

Hello. Thank you for paying close attention to the ingredients. This is indeed an additional treat, and moderate use between main meals is best.

Patrick HartmannNovember 17, 2025

The quality of the ingredients is excellent, but I feel like my dog could use more variety. Maybe you should make different flavors?

Fernpaw reply

Hello. Thank you for your review and for noting the quality of the ingredients. We'll pass the idea of flavor varieties on to the assortment development team.

DavideNovember 16, 2025

The quality is good and it smells pleasant. But for some reason my dog refuses to chew it in its original form, so I have to rub it on a Kong toy.

Fernpaw reply

Good afternoon. Thank you for your review; we're glad you noted the quality and pleasant smell. If your dog doesn't chew the cheese right away, you can start with short sessions, lightly rub the treat on a toy, or offer it after a walk when interest in chewing is higher.

DavideNovember 16, 2025

The ingredients are clear and simple, which is what I wanted. No strange additives, just a hard chew my dog likes.

Fernpaw reply

Hello. Thank you for your review. We really are proud of the transparent ingredients with no hidden components.

Marion C.November 16, 2025

My Jack Russell chewed the stick for almost two hours; he usually eats everything in a minute. The texture is really hard, I liked it.

Fernpaw reply

Hello. Thank you for your review; we're glad the hard texture suited your Jack Russell and kept him busy for almost two hours. We recommend continuing to give the cheese under supervision and removing the leftover piece when it gets too small.

Marion C.November 15, 2025
Kept the Dog Nicely Busy

I got it for my Labrador so he would have something to do while I work from home. We're both happy: the dog is occupied, and there's no harsh smell in the room like with some smoked bones. The aroma is very mild and natural.

Fernpaw reply

Good afternoon. Thank you for the detailed review. We're glad the treat helped solve the question of keeping your pet occupied.

Céline D.November 15, 2025

The packaging is chlorine-free bleached and easy to recycle, which matters to us. The dog gobbled up the cheese happily.

Fernpaw reply

Good afternoon. Thank you for your review; we're glad recyclable packaging without chlorine bleaching is important to you. It's nice that the dog liked the treat as well.

Céline D.November 14, 2025

Cleans teeth really well, strong mechanical action. I noticed there is less plaque; I give it once a week strictly under supervision.

Fernpaw reply

Hello. Thank you for your review; we're glad you noticed a good mechanical teeth-cleaning effect. You're doing the right thing by giving the treat under supervision and at a moderate frequency.

Silke Z.November 14, 2025

The cheese is really hard, the dog chewed on it for almost an hour and couldn't break it right away. However, there was only one piece in the package, which is a bit too expensive for a one-time treat.

Fernpaw reply

Hello. Thank you for your review. The treat is designed for long-lasting chewing and is usually consumed over several days to avoid overloading the dog's digestion.

Silke Z.November 14, 2025

Our poodle absolutely loves this cheese. It takes a long time to chew and doesn't ruin his teeth. We are already buying our second pack!

Fernpaw reply

Hello. We are glad that your poodle liked the treat so much. Thank you for your feedback and for coming back for more.

Joost V.November 13, 2025

Great stuff for a Yorkie. Keeps him busy all evening, smells nice, and hardly leaves any crumbs.

Joost V.November 13, 2025
A lifesaver for the furniture

Our Beagle is a year old now and chews on everything. This cheese has been a real lifesaver for our shoes and chairs. I give him a piece when I sit down to work, and he just lies on his mat chewing it for two hours. The smell doesn't knock your socks off like some other chew sticks do. His teeth are clean afterwards, too.

Émilie P.November 13, 2025

My Boxer loved it. The texture is dense, so it takes some effort to chew. Will be ordering more.

Fernpaw reply

Hello. Thank you for your comment. We are glad the density of the treat suited your pet.

Émilie P.November 12, 2025

I give this to my Pug before bed. He chews on it calmly and then goes to sleep without any fuss.

Kevin V.November 12, 2025
Great cheese for a Jack Russell

Our hyperactive Jack Russell finally sits still for more than fifteen minutes. I bought this cheese on a trainer's recommendation. The piece size is optimal; the dog can't swallow it whole but just gradually gnaws it down. There's no overpowering smell of lamb or liver in the house like with other chewable treats. I am very happy with the result, and it doesn't leave his coat greasy.

Kevin V.November 12, 2025

Happy with it. Our Miniature Schnauzer chews it with pleasure, and it doesn't hurt his gums.

Fernpaw reply

Hello. Thank you for the rating. We are glad the treat is safe and enjoyed by your dog.

Francesca F.November 11, 2025

Bought this for our senior German Shepherd. He chews it slowly, and his teeth can handle it fine. An excellent product.

Fernpaw reply

Hello. Thank you for your review. Wishing good health to your Shepherd, and we are glad the cheese suits her teeth.

Francesca F.November 11, 2025
Cleans teeth well

It removes plaque just as well as special dental sticks. The dog is happy, and I'm enjoying a clean carpet and no bad smell. The packaging is easy to dispose of, which is also a plus. We bought it as a trial, and now it's on our list of regular household purchases.

Fernpaw reply

Hello. Thank you for your feedback. We are glad the product handles mechanical teeth cleaning so well.

Bram S.November 11, 2025

Bought it for my grandma's Dachshund. She eats it carefully, but absolutely loves it.

Fernpaw reply

Hello. Thank you for your review. We are glad the treat was to your Dachshund's liking.

Bram S.November 11, 2025

Our Labrador loved it. He chews it thoroughly and doesn't choke on it.

Fernpaw reply

Hello. Thank you for your comment. It's great that the treat suits your Labrador.

Ines D.November 11, 2025
Perfect for trips

I always keep a couple of packs in the car when we drive out to the country house. My Corgi usually whines in traffic jams, but with this cheese, the time just flies by. I toss him a piece on the back seat, and it keeps him busy for almost the entire trip. The texture is genuinely very tough, forcing him to bite off small pieces, which is completely safe. The car stays clean afterwards, and any crumbs are easy to vacuum up.

Fernpaw reply

Hello. Thank you for the detailed review. We are glad the product makes trips comfortable for both you and your pet.

Ines D.November 10, 2025

Gave it to our Jack Russell, and he chewed on it for a whole hour. The cheese is great, but it's better to pick up the leftovers right away, otherwise crumbs get stuck in the carpet.

Fernpaw reply

Hello. Thank you for your review. We recommend taking away the small leftover piece so the dog cannot swallow it whole.
