I needed an auto feeder for our outdoor cat since we are going away for a few days. We used to have feeders that raccoons would get to and break, so I wanted one with a flat top so I could weigh it down with something. This one was perfect and the price was good, so I took it. The instructions are clear, the setup is simple. It was possible to program several feedings a day so that the cat definitely gets food during the day, because raccoons can eat it at night. The container holds quite a lot of food, more than we need for the 2 days we are away, and the feeder works as it should. I weighed it down with several bricks on top, so now the raccoons would never drag it away. I don’t need her full-time, but it’s nice to have peace of mind when we’re away and know that the cat is fed (and several stray cats in the area, too). So far it seems reliable, easy to clean, since the tray is removable and the portion size is adjustable - the cat is full, but not overfed, and I don’t have to feed all the animals within a mile radius. I put it under a roof on the back porch so it's not affected by the weather. I can’t speak about durability outdoors yet, but it’s well-built. I'm happy with the purchase, I like this one more than the expensive one I had before.

I love this feeder and so does my barn cat Muffin. She gets food on time, twice a day. Works perfect, easy to program and now if I need to go away for the day I know it will be fine. The feeder is incredibly durable, as proven by a recent adventure with a raccoon. He stole the entire feeder and dragged it across the floor of the barn! Had to replace the cord because it ripped it out of the wall... but after all that, the feeder still works! And we caught the raccoon in a trap and took it away!

Works great! I love it and it's easy to set up! The only bummer is that when you set it up, it squeaks loudly like crazy lol, it’s really loud, but otherwise it holds about 2/3 of a 2.5 kg bag and the food is perfectly stored there, the lid can be easily removed with a slight twist!
