One side sorts out tangles and combs out the undercoat, the other smoothes and removes loose hair. The fur stays on the brush, not on the sofa or clothes.
One side sorts out tangles and combs out the undercoat, the other smoothes and removes loose hair. The fur stays on the brush, not on the sofa or clothes. The side with sparse long teeth goes through tangles and pulls out dead undercoat, the side with frequent teeth removes the already separated hair and smoothes the guard hair. The tips of the teeth are rounded according to the supplier - work without pressure. The handle is non-slip, the brush can be washed under water. Please note: Not for smooth-haired breeds without undercoat - a mitten or napkin is sufficient.; Doesn't sort out wool matted into thick felt - that's what a groomer does; Not a cutting tool: the brush does not cut hair.

The rubbery grip on the handle really doesn't slip. It's comfortable to hold even when your hands are still wet from washing your pet.
Hello. Thank you for your comment. The non-slip grip really does increase comfort during the procedure.
Definitely worth the money. The specs say it's for dogs and cats, and we use it on both.
Good afternoon. Thank you for your review. The versatility of the tool is indeed very convenient for owners of different pets.
I constantly brush my Pomeranian, there's a lot of hair on the brush, but the handle is too short for a large hand.
Hello. Thank you for your comment. The dimensions of the handle are standardized, however, you can hold it a bit higher for better comfort.
My Corgi sheds non-stop. This de-shedder helps collect the undercoat quickly and efficiently.
Hello. Thank you for your review. For breeds with a dense undercoat, like Corgis, this tool is truly indispensable.
The plastic body slips a little in the hand if you wash it with soap. Otherwise, there is noticeably less hair on the couch.
Good afternoon. Thank you for your review. When washing the item, we recommend holding it by the upper part with the teeth to prevent the plastic base from slipping.
We have a Maine Coon. Regular brushes couldn't handle it. This one does the job, especially the side with the wide-set teeth.
Good afternoon. Thank you for your comment. For long-haired breeds, this tool is perfectly suited.
Stainless steel teeth that don't bend from the hair. It got through one tangle my Poodle had; otherwise, everything is superb.
Hello. Thank you for your purchase. The steel is indeed durable, the main thing is not to use the brush on tight mats.
I went through a couple of other shedding brushes before this, including a Furminator I wasn't fully happy with. No blades on this one at all — it just brushes the loose hair out instead of cutting anything, and that matters a lot to me.
Hello. Thank you for choosing our store. The tool is indeed safe because it doesn't cut, but only removes dead hair.
Everything matches the description. Two sides made of stainless steel, plastic body. Top quality for the money.
Got it for our Shepherd, it removes the undercoat like a charm, but if you press a little harder, the comb squeaks a bit.
Build quality is top-notch. The plastic and rubber handle are joined reliably, nothing squeaks during use.
Good afternoon. Thank you for your review. We carefully monitor the build quality of our products.
It's convenient to have two functions in one brush. First, I comb out the tangles, then smooth the coat. The dog looks well-groomed.
Bought it for a Shepherd. The metal side pulls out the dead undercoat perfectly. The comb smooths things down.
Ordered it because my dog has medium-length hair. Fits perfectly, there's significantly less hair on the couch.
Hello. Thank you for choosing Fernpaw. For pets with medium-length hair, the brush is indeed effective.
I use it on my Labrador once every three days. The dense side smooths the topcoat perfectly, the dog shines. But the wide-set rake teeth go too softly over the dense undercoat; I have to press down, even though the instructions say to work without applying pressure. If I don't press at all, it pulls out very little fluff.
Hello. Thank you for your comment. For a dense undercoat, a slight increase in pressure is allowed, provided that the rounded tips do not cause discomfort to the pet.
The tool is lightweight and fits nicely in the hand, but it only effectively pulls hair out when using the opposite side.
Hello. Thank you for your purchase. We recommend alternating sides: first use the wide-set teeth for the undercoat, then the dense comb.
The teeth are perfectly rounded. The cat even purrs when I brush its sides, absolutely no aggression on his part.
Hello. Thank you for your review. We are glad that your cat enjoyed the brushing procedure.
Happy with the purchase, there's no more hair lying around on my clothes. The brush tackles the undercoat brilliantly.
My old Furminator finally gave out, so I went hunting for something to replace it and ended up ordering this one on a whim. I've got two Welsh Corgis, both with a thick undercoat, so I put it straight to work — one side pulled the dead undercoat out, the other cleaned up what was left, and it even broke up a couple of small tangles behind their ears without any drama. The teeth have rounded tips so there's no scratching, and the grip is solid enough that it doesn't twist around in your hand even when it's wet. Cleanup is just a rinse under the tap. I'd buy this again without hesitation.
Good afternoon. Thank you for such a detailed review. Wishing health to your Corgis and happy use.
The tool is reliable, but the hair between the rows of the dense comb gets stuck fast.
Hello. Thank you for your purchase. To remove hair from the dense comb, we recommend cleaning it immediately after the procedure, before it gets packed down.
Bought it for my cat. The wide-set rake teeth glide through tangles perfectly. No pressure needed, just as the manufacturer advises.
Hello. Thank you for your rating. Indeed, the rounded tips require gentle use without strong pressure.
It removes shedding hair well, but the rubber smell from the grip hits your nose right out of the package.
Hello. Thank you for your review. A slight technical smell from the thermoplastic rubber is possible right after production; it quickly dissipates after the first wash.
My dog's undercoat was coming out in clumps. I manage it in 10 minutes. The brush is not for cutting, which completely suits me.
I was hesitant because of the rounded tips, thinking they wouldn't grip the undercoat well. But no, it works 100%.
Definitely not for short-haired breeds. We got it for our Dachshund, practically useless. But it works perfectly for our second dog, a mixed breed.
Hello. Thank you for your honest review. As stated in the description, the tool is indeed not suitable for short-haired breeds without an undercoat.
The brush works and removes dead hair, but the fine-toothed comb could be a little wider.
It combs out the undercoat without pressure, just as the manufacturers recommend. Very humane for animals.
Good brush, combs out wonderfully. The ends of the teeth are rounded, I checked them with my fingers, they don't scratch the skin.
Hello. Thank you for your purchase. Animal safety in production is a priority for us.
My St. Bernard girl Lessie sheds terribly. This Fernpaw brush has been a lifesaver, we put the dog through it every evening. I’m taking off one star only because the plastic cover on the handle is wearing down a little near the joint with the metal; there turned out to be a small burr there. I had to sand it with sandpaper. The actual combing mechanism is excellent, and now there’s no dog hair on my clothes.
I bought the Fernpaw brush for my Bichon Frise. I’ll say right away that of course it won’t handle dense felted mats; for that you need a groomer with clippers. But for everyday care it’s a real find. The side with the long, widely spaced rake teeth gently works through small tangles, and the fine comb smooths the guard hair perfectly and collects the fluff. The handle itself is genuinely comfortable and stays put in your hand, even through a long brushing session. After the procedure, I simply rinsed the hair off under water. For this money it’s an excellent working tool, no need to buy two different combs. I’m completely satisfied with the quality.
Good afternoon. Thank you for the detailed review. You are absolutely right that only a groomer can handle dense felted mats, while this model is ideal for daily care.
The hair stays on the brush, not on the sofa. I’m completely satisfied with the purchase and will recommend it to friends.
Good afternoon. Thank you for your rating. We hope you enjoy using it.
Everything works as described. If the fur is felted into a dense mat, the brush won’t handle it; we had it cut by a groomer. It combs through the rest.
An excellent way to deal with fluff in the apartment. It combs out the undercoat without damaging the guard hair. I recommend it to everyone.
Hello. Thank you for the recommendation. We’re glad the tool solves the problem of shedding hair.
It handles my cat’s undercoat very well. There’s no cleaning button, but the hair comes off with a finger in a second. I’m happy with the purchase.
The brush collects a lot of fluff from the sofa and the dog, but the marking on the metal wore off after two weeks.
It grabs the fluff. The plastic body is sturdy, it didn’t break when I accidentally stepped on it.
Hello. Thank you for your rating. We wish the tool a long service life.
The brush does not cut the hair. This is important to me, as I’m afraid of injuring the dog with blades. Here it’s only combs, an excellent deshedding tool.
The packaging was a little crumpled, but the brush itself was intact. It combs the cat very well, a lot of hair stays on it.
It combs the undercoat well. I wash it under water after each pet, and it dries quickly.
Good afternoon. Thank you for your comment. Keeping the tool clean is very important.
I ordered it to Germany. It was delivered quickly. I used it 3 times on my cat, the result is excellent.
I got it for a Maine Coon. The side with the widely spaced teeth works through mats on the ruff very well. I took off a star because after washing it under water, fine fluff gets stuck at the base of the teeth and it takes quite a while to wash it out; a regular shower doesn’t help. Overall it’s a worthwhile item, the cat didn’t scream, and the rounded tips don’t scratch the skin.
Good afternoon. Thank you for the detailed review. To clean the base of the teeth, we recommend using an old toothbrush under moderate water pressure; this will speed up the process significantly.
The hair comes off the teeth easily, but it lacks a self-cleaning button. You have to remove everything by hand.
The rounded tips are safe, the cat doesn’t run away, but the brush seemed small to me.
Good afternoon. Thank you for the review. The compact size was chosen for easier maneuvering over the animal’s body, so as not to frighten the pet.
I made sure that you need to be careful. Without strong pressure it works gently, and the dog doesn’t run away.
Good afternoon. Thank you for your comment. Gentle use without pressure really is the key to a good result.
The stainless steel teeth are sturdy, but the brush feels quite heavy if you brush the dog for a long time.
I got it for a dog with an undercoat. The description correctly says that it is not suitable for short-haired breeds. It suited us 100%.
Good afternoon. Thank you for the review. We try to describe the intended use of our products as accurately as possible.
I’m ordering a second one just like it. My mom took the first one for her cat. The handle fits the hand really well, nothing awkward about it.
I have a Persian cat named Musya. Before this purchase, brushing was torture for both of us. I bought Fernpaw and decided to try the side with the long, widely spaced teeth for mats. It goes through very well, and the dead undercoat comes out in clumps. At the same time Musya sits calmly, because the teeth are rounded and I work without strong pressure. The other side with the fine comb collects the already loosened hair. The sofa has become noticeably cleaner, and I’m ordering a second one as a spare. I’m completely satisfied with the product.
Good afternoon. Thank you for the detailed review. We wish your pet good health and are glad the tool suited her perfectly.
The materials are good quality, but after washing, water drains from inside the handle for a long time; there is a cavity there.
I groom my cat at home. The brush removes shed hair, and the cat doesn’t meow from pain. The tips are safe.
Hello. Thank you for your rating. The rounded tips ensure the animal’s comfort when used correctly.
Excellent Fernpaw brush. The two sides do different jobs, making it very convenient to switch between them right in the middle of grooming.
Good afternoon. Thank you for taking the time to leave a review. The dual-sided design really does save time.
Arrived quickly. The two sides really work: one untangles mats, the other picks up loose fluff. Highly recommend.
Good afternoon. Thank you for your review. The dual-sided design truly makes grooming more efficient.
Got this for my collie. The wide teeth glide through elbow mats without any pain. The dog doesn't run away when she sees this brush.
Very lightweight! The plastic body doesn't add unnecessary weight. It's an absolute pleasure to use.
Good afternoon. Thank you for your comment. The lightweight really does make the grooming process much more comfortable.
High-quality stainless steel. The long teeth penetrate deep into the coat and pull out all the undercoat.
Hello. Thank you for your purchase. The shape of the teeth is indeed specifically designed for deep penetration.
Super tool for cats. The dense side works like a massager; my baby comes and lies down next to me as soon as I pick it up.
Good afternoon. Thank you for your comment. It's great that brushing has become a pleasant experience for your pet.
The handle has an excellent non-slip grip, so my hand doesn't get tired when brushing our huge St. Bernard.
The two-sided option is convenient, but the grip on the handle could stand to be a bit thicker. Otherwise, the tool does an excellent job.
It's advertised as stainless steel, and so far there's no rust from washing it under the tap. Will keep using it.
Good afternoon. Thank you for your comment. The material of the teeth is indeed water-resistant.
Ordered the Fernpaw for my cat. The metal is genuinely sturdy and doesn't bend, which is a plus. However, the plastic edge near the comb was a little sharp, so I trimmed off the excess with a knife myself. No complaints otherwise: both sides work well, pulling out the undercoat perfectly, and the couch is now clean. I only regret not buying two right away.
Top-notch deshedding tool, but it slips in the hand because the grip doesn't cover the entire length of the handle.
Hello. Thank you for your review. The TPR grip is located in the holding area, but we will take your remark about its length into consideration.
I was looking for a solution for pet hair on the furniture. Decided to try this dual-sided Fernpaw brush and have no regrets. I have two cats, one of them fluffy, and hair was everywhere. Now I brush them every two days. The sparse rake teeth pull out the fluff that used to stay on the couch and my clothes. The other side, with the dense comb, acts like a polisher, picking up all the fine hairs and smoothing the topcoat. It's easy to rinse under water and dries quickly. If you have medium or long-haired pets—go for it without hesitation. The tool is not meant for clipping, which was exactly what I needed.
Great for daily use, pulls out the undercoat nicely. It's a shame there's no loop to hang it on a hook.
Completely satisfied with the purchase, would buy it again. A clean house and a happy cat, thanks Fernpaw.
Hello. Thank you for your review and high rating.
Brought home two cats and a dog, hair was everywhere. Bought this Fernpaw deshedding tool. At first, I thought it wouldn't handle dog hair, but the side with dense teeth removes the already shed hair just perfectly. The other side, with sparse long rake teeth, handles cat mats well. The plastic is sturdy, and the handle sits comfortably in the palm without any awkward edges. After a session, I just rinse it with water, and the hair comes off easily. I am very satisfied, would buy it again without hesitation.
I looked for a long time to replace my old deshedding tool and stumbled upon this dual-sided brush. I have two German Shepherd mixes, so there's a sea of hair. The sparse side pulls out all the dead undercoat, while the dense side gathers it from the top. Four stars because the dogs were initially scared of the metallic sound when running it through the coat. I had to train them for a few days with treats. Now everything is fine, no dog hair on clothes at all, and I will recommend it to my dog-owning friends.
Good brush, but there wasn't a single word in Russian on the packaging, so I had to look for instructions on the website.
I like that the brush is easy to wash under the tap. After brushing, I just rinse and dry it—very hygienic.
The body material is sturdy. I accidentally dropped it on a tiled floor; the plastic didn't crack and the teeth didn't bend.
Hello. Thank you for your review. We hope the tool will serve you for a long time.
I have a British Shorthair. I thought it wouldn't suit her due to her dense coat, but the sparse teeth comb through the fluff wonderfully.
Removes mats excellently and smooths the topcoat, but the length of the sparse teeth could have been greater.
Good afternoon. Thank you for your rating. The length of the teeth is optimized to safely pass through the undercoat without the risk of injuring the pet's skin.
Got this for a Maine Coon. The dense comb brushes out the fluff instantly; there's half as much hair on the carpets now.
Hello. Thank you for your review. Maine Coons require thorough grooming; we are glad the brush is up to the task.
Our cat constantly gets matted fur on his belly. This brush does a decent job of working through fresh mats in a couple of sessions. However, if the clump is already as dense as felt, it just slides over it, exactly as stated. Hence the 4 stars—I have to keep an eye on the cat every day so I don't miss any felt-like mats forming.
I liked that this isn't a clipping tool. It didn't damage the dog's topcoat; everything was neat and safe.
Hello. Thank you for your review. This tool works gently without cutting the hair.
The steel really doesn't rust, but the tips are rounded a bit too much and don't grab fine hair very well.
Good afternoon. Thank you for your review. This model is designed for animals with an undercoat; its effectiveness may indeed be lower for harsh topcoats.
It’s a great tool. It removes the undercoat really well, but it didn’t handle dense felted mats, just as the description said.
The tool doesn’t cut the fur, which is a plus. I was afraid of trimming my cat’s guard hairs, but the teeth here are safe.
Good afternoon. Thank you for your review. The tool gently removes only dead fur while preserving the guard hairs.
We have a long-haired cat. This brush has been a lifesaver for our clothes; now there’s no fur on them.
Overall it works, but the teeth scratch the plastic if you press too hard, leaving white marks.
The fine-tooth side works perfectly, but the wide teeth are spaced too far apart for my dog.
Hello. Thank you for your review. The tooth spacing is designed for medium and long coats; for short-haired breeds, this option may be more than needed.
A perfectly decent product. The handle shape feels a little unusual at first, but you get used to it quickly. Overall, it’s a working tool.
The double-sided design saves space nicely. The metal teeth have no burrs, and the plastic doesn’t creak. I’d buy it again.
I bought this model for my golden retriever named Max. We had tried a bunch of combs before, but this one handled the job better than all of them. One side with the wide teeth worked through the dense mats behind his ears and on his feathering in literally three passes. The other side smooths the guard hair, and the dog looks like he’s just been groomed. The stainless steel teeth are sturdy; I checked them by touch, and they’re rounded, so they don’t scratch the skin. The plastic body is lightweight. Overall, it’s an excellent tool, and we’ll be getting another one as a backup. We’ve been using it for about a month almost every day.
Hello. Thank you for such a detailed review. Retrievers have a thick undercoat, and we’re glad the Fernpaw tool met your expectations. To help prevent mats, we recommend brushing your pet regularly.
I liked that there’s no need to buy anything extra. The comb is ready to use straight out of the box.
Good afternoon. Thank you for your comment. We’re glad you were happy with your purchase.
It really works. It removes the undercoat, and the fur doesn’t fly all over the room.
Hello. Thank you for your purchase. We’re glad you were happy with the result.
The fine comb doesn’t scratch the skin. I ran it over my dog’s back, and the guard hair became shiny and lay smooth.
Finally, fur has stopped covering the whole house. The rake side pulls out the undercoat instantly.
Good afternoon. Thank you for your review. Regular use really does help keep the house clean.
It doesn’t slip in the hand. Both sides work: the rake and the comb. Everything is as described in the product listing.
Good afternoon. Thank you for your review. We try to make our products functional and convenient.
It brushes out dead hair well. The teeth are listed as stainless steel; so far there’s no rust after drying.
Our shepherd sheds every spring. This thing really collected all the dead undercoat, and the furniture is clean now. The fact that the teeth are steel and not plastic is a huge plus; they don’t bend. The teeth are smooth and don’t hurt the dog. I use it without pressing hard, just as written in the instructions on the website.
Hello. Thank you for the detailed review. It’s true that when brushing, it’s important not to press down on the tool so the process stays comfortable for your pet.
The waterproof body is genius. I brushed my short-haired dog and then just rinsed it under the tap.
Sturdy construction, solid plastic. The handle sits comfortably in the hand, and the stainless steel feels high quality.
Hello. Thank you for your rating. We pay special attention to the reliability of our products.
It collects the undercoat excellently. I rinsed it under the tap, and it’s like new again.
Hello. Thank you for your review. We’re glad the brush is easy to care for and does an excellent job with your pet’s undercoat.
We got it for our Maine Coon. The wide-tooth side removes the fluff around the scruff really well, and there’s noticeably less fur in the apartment.
Hello. Thank you for your review. We’re glad the brush suited your pet and helped solve the problem of shedding fur.
We have an older cat with mats on his back. The side with the long teeth gently works through the clumps without harming the skin.
Hello. Thank you for the detailed comment. We’re glad the rounded tooth tips provided a comfortable brushing experience for your cat.
