Be honest about the source. These are pet owner reviews of this product, obtained from the manufacturer and suppliers and translated into English, and are not reviews from Fernpaw customers. We do not write reviews ourselves and do not delete anything sent. It is important to understand: the supplier gave us only ratings of 4 and 5 - this is a selection on their part, and not the result of our filtering, so do not consider it the full picture. I bought two boxes and covered the entire wooden frame of our corner sofa, and there was even some left over from the second roll. In general, it’s super easy to use and sticks tightly! The cats are no longer interested in tearing up our sofa. I bought them before sticking them on our brand new sofa, and so far the flight is normal! They don’t look very good, of course, but the sofa is protected! Not too thick, but personally I wouldn't glue them directly onto the sofa cushions.
I couldn’t believe it, my cat didn’t even try to tear up the furniture on which I glued FixZilla.
Not bad, but not good either. It holds up well and the cats don’t even try to scratch. They are just very thick and spoil the appearance.
I'll be getting another one to make a higher claw area on the corner of the closet.
Just top for your money!
It's impossible to put into words how much chaos, destruction and scorched earth a 4-month-old kitten can leave behind - 2 kilograms of kinetic energy with needle-sharp claws... Especially when they begin to realize their athletic talents and innate parkour skills. Unfortunately, all of this happens before they even have the self-awareness and intelligence to be trained or punished so that they don't fear you for the rest of their lives. With this in mind, FixZilla protective films came in handy. Every day was a continuous, hard struggle for the survival of not only our furniture, but also everything else that would interest the attention of this little devil; I have scars on my legs that will never go away. Fortunately, for every hour of violent terror he needs several hours of sleep. However, his sweet nature and gentleness in moments of peace and quiet make it all worth it; we love him very much. His name is Gizmo. FoxZilla anti-scratch films (and not just for furniture) are quite easy to measure and apply. I say "pretty much" because the vinyl is rolled and you have to fight against curling; I glued one end with tape to a flat surface, placed a tape measure next to it and rolled it out to the desired length. It’s convenient that, like good gift paper, there is a grid on the back tear-off side of the vinyl protection, which makes it easy to measure and then cut evenly and accurately. Once you have cut the desired length, you remove the backing to expose the adhesive; then you glue it where you need it. The kit includes a plastic spatula to expel air bubbles and smooth the material over the surface. We used FixZllla protective vinyl on fabric surfaces and on window and door mosquito nets, which this little one could climb on like a squirrel, leaving ragged holes in its wake. Although the protection can be easily removed from these surfaces without leaving any residue, it is still quite sticky and requires care, for example, not allowing the material to stick to itself with the adhesive side. If this happens, separating them will be difficult, if not impossible. But once you stick it in the right place, it sticks perfectly. Our experience (at least on those surfaces where we have glued FixZilla anti-scratch protection) shows that it holds tightly and does its job: saving furniture and other surfaces from the play destructiveness of an unbearably unruly kitten. Plus, there are few things more satisfying than that little imp's surprised reaction when he leaps onto the surface he was previously using as a springboard for his next jump and slides off with a crash; don't worry, "rumble and fall" is his middle name. This alone is already worth the money spent.
Sticks perfectly to furniture. I tried it on the edges of carpeted steps. It doesn't stay there at all.
