Be honest about the source. These are pet owner reviews of this product, obtained from the manufacturer and suppliers and translated into English, and are not reviews from Fernpaw customers. We do not write reviews ourselves and do not delete anything sent. It is important to understand: the supplier gave us only ratings of 4 and 5 - this is a selection on their part, and not the result of our filtering, so do not consider it the full picture. Just what you need! We bought a cool modern cat station, but our little boys were just slipping and sliding trying to climb on it. They now have traction mats! I like that they have velcro so if they rip, I can just buy new ones and easily replace them. I will say this: the Velcro sticks very tightly to a hard surface, but I think it’s unlikely to be able to attach it to fabric like a sofa. So far the flight is normal.
I bought these to update the scratching post that my cats had trashed. I couldn’t find one to replace it, so I decided to cover it with a texture they liked (sisal). Having removed the old carpet and sisal covering, I attached the new one with a construction stapler. I chose this brand because the sizes were almost right for me. The cats are ecstatic. It has lasted for 6 months already. Only now it’s starting to get a little shaggy, because they fight in the same place all the time. But now at least I know what to order when I need to replace it.
They are suitable for corner scratching posts. I was so glad that I could just buy replacement pads instead of buying a whole new scratching post.
Easy to attach, you can re-glue it a couple of times and it will still stick. My cats didn't like it, but overall I liked that I was able to place them in different patterns, it turned out cool and cute. The quality seems very reliable.
I have several wave scratching posts - my cat loves this S-shaped thing, but she destroyed the area with the sisal rope to smithereens... better than furniture or carpets, etc. She likes to lie on the side where the carpet is, so I hate throwing them away when the sisal is killed. These pads are a great replacement and I just screw them onto the scratching post.
They come with new Velcro already sewn on, so replacing the old one was a piece of cake. My cats are delighted!
Our cats love these rugs. We take animals for foster care, so we use them to the fullest.
I expected the quality to be a little better, but it’ll do, considering that it’s a cat’s torn to pieces. I upholstered the top shelf of her wooden scratching post with this, because the original soft bedding did not suit her. Velcro is sewn only on two sides, and not on all four, as in the product photo.
I bought it so that the cat could sharpen his claws on it, but in the end the cat, which doesn’t need it at all, uses it much more often. Well, at least 1 out of 2 cats was really interested. Just not what was planned. If the big cat never starts using it, it will last a very long time!
