In hot weather most dogs do not need a real swimming pool — they need a fast way to cool down, and you need a simple way to rinse dust and sand off their paws after a walk. The walls hold their shape even without water. Each wall is a five-layer sandwich: dense PVC outside and inside, a tear-resistant mesh in between and a rigid 6 mm PP board as the core. The sides do not collapse when a dog leans on the rim or jumps in, and once the pool is filled the water presses them outwards and makes it even more stable.
The base is textured, not slippery film. That noticeably reduces the risk of a paw sliding out on the way in or out — which matters most for puppies, senior dogs and the joints of large breeds.
Draining without buckets. There is a valve on the side: unscrew the cap and the water runs out by itself. A separate 1/2" adapter for a standard garden hose is included, so you can drain the pool straight into a hose and water the garden with it instead of pouring it onto the lawn.
A care kit, not just a pool. The box also contains a silicone massage bath brush — you can wash and brush the dog right in the water — and four PVC repair patches in case a claw or a sharp pebble on the ground makes a small hole.

The construction is the same and buyers do use it as a ball pit or a sandpit. We sell it as a pet product, though: it is not certified as a children's toy, so children should only use it with an adult nearby.

The pool was very easy to set up and stands well even without water in it. It does not buckle and it does not leak anywhere. With water it is of course even more stable, because the water presses the walls outwards. Clear recommendation!

Unfortunately the pool did not last two weeks with our 30 kg dog. It loses water through small holes in the base, which is too thin. The pool stood on the lawn, with no stones or twigs underneath it.
Thank you for telling us — we are sorry about the punctures. The kit includes four repair patches for exactly this case, but with active large dogs we also recommend putting a flat mat under the base even on grass, so that hard seeds and small stones in the ground cannot reach it.

A perfect little pool for cooling the dogs down on the hottest days! I had already bought one four years ago but gave it to friends when we moved. I was very happy with it and decided to buy it again. The product has not changed at all: it comes with a set of patches in case it tears, an adapter to empty it with a garden hose and a toothed sponge for washing the dogs. Easy to empty and to fold, and it takes up very little space when closed. The depth is minimal and it is only for cooling down, but for that purpose I absolutely recommend it!
