Automatic feeder with timer

We have a Scottish Fold and got this feeder specifically before a 3-day vacation. The 5-liter capacity was more than enough; it feels like you could load it up for a couple of weeks. I was really worried the cat would figure out how to open the lid, but the lock is secure. She tried to pry it open with her claws a couple of times and then gave up. The schedule works perfectly, dispensing exact portions right on time.

For my small dog, splitting food into several little feedings has worked better than two big bowls. This feeder handles that routine without fuss.

The 12-hour format turned out to be not that complicated, I figured it out quickly.
