I needed an auto feeder for our outdoor cat since we are going away for a few days. We used to have feeders that raccoons would get to y break, so I wanted one with a flat top so I could weigh it down with something. This one fit well y the price was good, so I took it. The instructions are clear, the setup is simple. It was possible to program several feedings a day so that the cat definitely gets food during the day, because raccoons can eat it at night. The container holds quite a lot of food, more than we need for the 2 days we are away, y the feeder works as it should. I weighed it down with several bricks on top, so now the raccoons would never drag it away. I don’t need her full-time, but it’s nice to have peace of mind when we’re away y know that the cat is fed (and several stray cats in the area, too). So far it seems reliable, easy to clean, since the tray is removable y the portion size is adjustable - the cat is full, but not overfed, y I don’t have to feed all the animals within a mile radius. I put it under a roof on the back porch so it's not affected by the weather. I can’t speak about durability outdoors yet, but it’s well-built. I'm happy with the purchase, I like this one more than the expensive one I had before.

Great stuff! This feeder was super easy to assemble y set up, the container holds much more than I expected, which is very helpful if you need to leave your pets for a couple of days. I also liked that there is a push “lock” on the lid; it is very reliable y saves you if your ponytails try to open it. Feed dispensing works well, exactly as stated. The process of adjusting the times y portions seems more complicated than it actually is, y it's a very user-friendly system if you need to go back y tweak something, don't be put off by the instructions!! I love this feeder y so does my barn cat Muffin. She gets food on time, twice a day. Works well, is easy to program y now if I need to go away for the day I know it will be fine. The feeder is incredibly durable, as proven by a recent adventure with a raccoon. He stole the entire feeder y dragged it across the floor of the barn! Had to replace the cord because it ripped it out of the wall... but after all that, the feeder still works! And we caught the raccoon in a trap y took it away!

This automatic feeder has changed our lives. Works great y the cat no longer wakes us up in the morning to eat. And we also don’t worry that he will remain hungry if we are away from home all day.
